Fantastic ”

This is a modern ryokan yet maintaining its Japanese roots of culture. It's quiet & very near to Suijzen Garden, there's lotsa food options along the stretch of streets too. We had 2 rooms for 4 guests (Western Style Jap room), comfy & clean beds - came with a fridge of free drinks (green tea, coffee, beer & water). Definitely worth your $$$!

Great attention to customer, right next to suizenji park”

Modern ryokan, surprising but oh so comfortable. The private baths are small but very cozy. Dinner is a great moment and not so expensive. And the breakfast... oh the breakfast... so vast, so many things, a true experience. Warning to westerners, it is truly japanese, lots of tastes you won’t be familiar with and might not enjoy if not adventurous!

Overpriced for what you get”

It is a high end ryokan and pricy. We did. not opt for dinner as they serves horse meat. The room is kind of small for 5. The staffs were friendly enough but too formal. When we spend money in Ryokan, the Onsen is important. They have only one Onsen which alternate between lady and men. So while the ladies soaked the men has to wait. Their private bath is very small and despite the hotel was not crowded we were only allowed one session. As the bath was so small we decided to just use it as a shower room. The saving grace was those breakfast which was very good. They have a sister hotel across the road and I highly recommend their izakaya which serves good food at a very decent price. I may try that property next time.

Exceptional”

The hotel room is very large and comfortable. The location was a bit far away from the city and main shopping area but there is a large super market nearby the hotel within 10 mins walk which you can buy snack, fruit and essential from there. There are two private hot bath available in the afternoon time to use. The hotel staff are very nice and friendly. We are happy with the overall experience.

Very kind staffs, esp. at dining room of 6th floor. Nice rooms. Small but precious big bath. But it is located far from the stations. Anyway I recommend this rhokan!!

Nice staffs”

It is a small hotel with limited parking lot and far away from center about 14mins drive. The Onsen is time set as gender or else you need to book the time for private family Onsen. The room is big.

cute boutique hotel with very attentive staffs. able to book the family bathhouses (a fun experience!). breakfast was amazing. overall had a nice experience. only thing is that it's a little aged, but not too bad, just slight scratches here and there on the walls.
