A little up in the hill so you have to shower every time you get to the room, but other than that it's a very good and clean bungalow with friendly staff! A++++

Id would be better if the hotel had breakfast service or things to sell for eating... the room was very clean and they gave us water and coffee everyday. We love the staff and cleaniless that is very important for us. Also the view was amazing.

Better places for cheaper”
the trek up to this place is long and takes the breath out of you. ants in the room. don't bother booking a fan room as it's to hot for that. fridge didn't work so after the sweaty walk up your welcomed with more than room temperature water. honestly there's better places to stay for the same price. enjoy your stay 😂

Hike to bungalow”
Beautiful views when you get to the top. Warning! It's definitely a hike out of town. Staff was friendly, we had someone waiting at the pier for us, and carried our bags part of the way in a cart until you couldn't use the cart anymore. You pass through what looks like thier trash burning pile. Again the view is amazing once you get up there. We didn't stay, mattress looked like it possibly had bed bugs, so we booked else where in town which was much easier to get out and about around the town and beaches.

DONT DO IT.”
very long and uphill walk to hotel room. The hotel meets you at the pier and Carrie's your luggage 80% of the way then the road is to rough for the cart and you have to carry them up a hill the rest of the way. Area is VERY dirty. Rooms where clean but maybe had bed bugs? Anyways left after 10 mins and said hell with the 25$ I paid for the room. Not risking bringing the bed bugs back home.

The place is good, the staff not so much”
This place is good for the money, the rooms are comfy and have everything you need. It was clean and had a great view. The staff, not so good. The user experience on this one was a bit bad. We booked a room with a fan instead of air conditioner, despite every one had one, and they changed the good fan for a lazy and old one I don’t know why. I guess you really have to pay more just for enjoy some fresh air. The staff didn’t care about us, didn’t asked anything. But there’s a guy that helps you with your bags from the deck to the hotel. Props to that guy !

Simple Bungalow”
don't expect too much. same as many previous reviews: - the bungalow located on uphill area and far from pier. (but don't worry, there's a staff wait for you at the pier to help you bring the luggages by cart) - the aircon was leaked, but the staff didn't do anything to resolve or help us, they only suggest the temperature. they didn't have any bucket to accomodate the leaked aircon, we accomodated it by ourself!! -bad wifi! no TV. -have only view seat for breakfast -staff not friendly -loud speaker from bar downhill still can be heard inside our room until 2am.

Make sure you communicate with the hotel beforehand”
I made my reservation a month and a half before I arrived in Koh Phi Phi. However, there apparently was a miscommunication between Agoda and the hotel because they didn't have my reservation. I was staying for 3 nights, but the first night the hotel was booked. So they put me up in a different (much dirtier and lower quality) hotel next door. I was able to enter Sabai the next morning, but it involved a lot of frustration upon my arrival after traveling for a whole day. Sabai has a great view; however, you really have to work to get up to the top of the mountain. It is a strenuous walk and not recommended for travelers with a lot of luggage or physical conditions.

Bedbugs and no one cares! ”
We had bedbugs in our room and confronted the staff with it. They acted like we were lying and denied any photos of proof. We could not sleep in this room anymore (obviously) and were not offered any alternative. When we left, they just send in the cleaning lady and were rude. Take care! In addition: the bungalows are at a very high position and you have to walk quite a lot. Other hotels in that area pick up their guests, but Sabai makes jokes of you if you arrive their sweaty

Not a huge fan of Phi Phi but if I ever come back it will only be to the ‘Long Beach’ side. Didn’t have much for expectations (good thing) - place had a nice view but I wasn’t sad when it was time to leave.

Pros: a great view from the bungalow, the bungalow itself was quite nice, breakfast was simple but nice Cons: the owner overbooked and asked us to stay somewhere else for the first night at a place which was a solid 1/10, my friend woke up with a stye there. Honestly we deserved a refund for such an inconvenience. To avoid being stung I would suggest staying elsewhere. The owner literally showed someone our uncleaned bungalow to a couple of girls when we were waiting for breakfast

Not a relaxing place”
+Koh phi phi offers anything you want to buy.. - sabi sea is almost at view point, about 20 min treck up the mountain, you must walk. -beds were worst ive had in asia.. was a boxspring not matress. -the bathroom was open to outside and no bug net was provided -the air con, a/c was leaking badly which i admit was fixed within a few hours however it barely cooled the place down as it needed a special magnet key to keep power on and credit cards/others wouldnt work so always came back to a hot room -there is a in room safe but the front doors were double sliding and were easily opened even of locked. -furthest from shops/food etc but close to beach club so you would hear techno untill 2 am where most of the island would be quiet (nothing between to block out noise, we would walk right past the club and then could no longer hear it due to buildings blocking noise) -the price is extreme for what we got...figured we would have one luxury night on our trip and this place turned out to be the worst accomidation. -would honestly skip koh phi phi as the only thing "worth" seeing was maya bay and it was so crouded and such a hard to walk into place that it wasnt worth it. ----No prestine beaches here!! they send the sewage right into the ocean next to the beach... honestly dont know how they make it look so nice in pictures as its a garbage heap compared to the other islands. -not uncommon to see people taking dumps at night into the ocean on the beach... cannot stress enough how big of a letdown this island was considering how nice some other islands were. (koh phangon better for partying, koh lanta and koh tao and koh samui were nicer beaches and excursions.. would never come back to phi phi again!

This was very far away from the port and was only reachable by walking uphill with all our luggage. Upon our arrival we were informed that although we had booked 3 rooms for our group only 2 were available, so 2 memebers of my group had to haul their luggage back downhill and walk for over 10 minutes to another hotel which was located next to sanitation and smelled awful. The lady at the front desk made no apologies nor offer any solutions to rectify the issue. Once inside our room, the AC unit in the room was leaking, and the same lady at the front desk was promptly informed but nobody came to fix it. We had a huge puddle of water on the floor. A pro to this accommodation was a nice view of the trees and looking out to the ocean.

Amazing view”
We had a nice time at one of the sea view bangalows even if they messed with our reservation and instead of the doeuble bed we had to sleep in the twin bed Bangalow our first night. The stuff was nice and always avaiable. The location requires you to walk 10-15 minutes before reaching the city center (it is located up on a hill so if you are not used to use your legs too much probably it is not for you). Then room was minimalistic but nice. The bathroom was .... let’s say decent (at least clean). The view is simply amazing and the surroundings as well, even though the road to get there is surrounded by garbage and the island in general is dirty and full of cockroaches. Noisy at night like the entire island. Parties on the beach stop at 2 am. Generally speaking we had a nice stay the 2 nights that we spent on the island.

Steep climb few amenities”
The bungalows are on a steep and somewhat dangerous road. They only cleaned the room once in four days. No pool, no tv... Really barebones. After we used the door once, the lock broke. They wanted to charge us 500 baht to fix it because the lock had been repaired the day before. We said no and said we would visit the Tourist Police. They stopped talking about charging us. There are more affordable places in town. There is a reason you must pay in advance and cannot cancel or receive any refund.

Just lovely ”
Beautiful views. Grest room. Clean. All I needed. Convenient but a bit away from obnoxious tourist stuff. 15 min walk from the port. And they carry your luggage. Staff was helpful. A bit indifferent — though welcome to PhiPhi. :) Only issue is noise until 2am. You really do hear all the party stuff. Buy earplugs if sleeping earlier.
