Surprisingly stylish”

We stayed at Sabye D for one night, before flying out the following morning, and were very impressed. The deluxe room with balcony was light, airy and comfortable, and very clean. Whoever owns/built the resort has a very good eye for design. Although the resort location is a bit out of the way, it is only a 15-20 stroll across the bridge, to central Surat Thani. There's no catering options at Sabye D itself, but there's a big 7-11 just outside, for drinks and snacks, and several food stalls and simple eateries close by, and even a couple of large riverside restaurants within striking distance. Overall, Sabye D is a very good value option in Surat. We only stayed for one night, but would have happily stayed for a few more nights, but for our flight.

I enjoyed my stay at Sabye D Resort during my trip to Surat Thani. The hotel is nice with cleanliness and comfort room. Staff are friendly and the 7-11 is just at the entrance of the hotel.

Exceptional”

As we arrived late by plane from Bkk, we decided to book a room for a night, instead of taking the night boat. I saw this place already a few times appear in my searches for rooms in Surat, but they were always fully booked. Now I have stayed there, I understand why they were full so often. This place is far out one of the best ones in Surathani. It is located in the city centre, but as they are at the opposite side of the river, the noise and city craze aren't of any concern here. Just nextdoor to the Resort is a 7eleven and a Tescos, at 2 minutes walking distance is one of my top favorite restaurants, called Crossroads. A little further (7 min walk) you can walk over the little bridge to the island on the Tapi river, which has a beautiful park. The resort itself, is clean, inexpensive, the rooms have plenty of facilities (AC, Hair dryers, hot shower etc) the staff welcomes you with a smile and even though their english is not perfect (who cares anyway) they will go out of their way to help you with all your questions. Whenever I travel to Surathani, this will be my first choice of place to stay

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Sabye D Resort for just one night to get to the National Park in the next morning. The Room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. AC worked fine. Food-kitchen just around the corner.

Totally satisfied”

I booked the Lagoon rooms for two nights, on our arrival the staff had made some mistakes in reservations, we ended up having a free upgrade to the Suite for first night, and Deluxe room for second night. The Suite was clean and beautiful, but the small balcony didn't offer a nice view - facing a vacant land (the unpleasant smell from the pond was strong too). There were no kettle, hair dryer etc., just a mini bar and a TV (all programmes were in Thai). Lucikly we brought our thumdrive with movies and watched ours with the tv instead, sitting on the nice big L-shaped sofa. The bathroom was a bit small. But overall we enjoyed the spacious and nice room. The Deluxe room faced a nice view of the pond. The room was very clean and the bathroom was large and nice! Again there were only a mini bar and a tv. We actually loved this room more. The hotel was very conveniently located. There was a 7-eleven just outside the hotel, and some food stalls opening from afternoon to night, so no problem to get food and drinks! There were also a few mini restaurants just next to it. Walking to the town across the bridge and river took only 10 minutes (to reach the City Pillar Shrine), and we walked around the shop areas exploring and hunting for food, and managed to find some great food. Walking to the night market and walking street by the river took us 20-25 mins (we are fast walkers who enjoy walking though). The hotel has transport services to night markets and also the big mall Central Plaza a few kms away at quite good rates. The hotel staff was very friendly and smiley. We talked to the guy named Bong (the owner, we believed) who could speak English and he gave us very helpful info about directions and spots. Overall we loved our stay here as much as enjoying a short but relaxing holiday in Suratthani. I would recommend this hotel to my friends who like to visit this town for a relaxation trip.

had to take the flight on surat thani airport so stayed for 1 night, very close to the center and the staff very friendly! totally recommend this place, very cosy small lake at the back!

It's been our second stay, will definitely be back here again!”

Definitely good value for money. The first time we were here few years back, the only con was the location. It is a flyover (over a river) away from the happenings, although the distance is definitely walkable. But this time round, Grab (Southeast Asia's Uber) had entered the market. We didn't need to walk or wait for tuktuk anymore, and no more communication errors lost in translation! Everything here is simply perfect. There are small lakes for fishes, and gardens in the compound of the resorts, in between terraces of rooms. All well maintained. There is a 7-11, and another Tesco Lotus right outside the resort, also few food stalls and small eateries around the area (all before the flyover). It is away from the hustles and bustles, we really enjoyed the quiet and serene ambience. This is definitely not just another resort. The warm hospitality, beautiful environment and vibes, made us feel welcomed the first time we were here. Visiting the second time was just like a trip back home.

A Very Good place to stay near with town S.Thani”

I'm staying here only for 1 night, not much word to say but honestly this hotel quite near with 7- eleven just nearby 5 step away. Near with town and easy to get to the town and also near with halal food. Their staff is friendly enough even quite difficult to speak in English but they are tried so hard. This hotel near with Airport, only 20 minutes away from the Airport Surat Thani. They also provided motorcycle to rent out. Im not sure whether here got food or dining, i've booked without food/dinning. The area quite calm and piece. Very wide room and comfortable. The wifi a bit problem because the coverage not so strong in our room. This hotel also have a provided a package with Lomprayah Ferry from the hotel to the next hotel in Ko Samui.

Very nice and spacious room”

The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated with wood furniture. Location is within 1.5km of city center. Breakfast is basic but for the price you can't expect more. Excellent place.

Excellent”

Great location, close to downtown Surat Thani (it's across the river, next to Koh Lampu) - can easily access the pier, markets, Taled Kaset (the bus/transportation area). It can be harder to get a tuk tuk/songteaw on this side of the river so having a motorbike is ideal (or being willing to walk). Overall great value and was perfect for our overnight in Surat.

A Pleasant Break”

Excellent trip, the room was clean and simple but perfect location for access to Surat and all local amenities. Would definitely recommend to those passing through to the islands or staying for longer in the city.

Convenient location”

We had stayed here previously and chose to stay here again on our return trip from Samui. Everything is good and we will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Surat Thani.

Good for a transit stay to Koh Samui / Airport”

Stayed here for a night. It is rather far from Suratthani Town, 20 mins walk to be exact but you can always ride on the tuk-tuk. Tesco and 7-11 is just next to it and you can get anything that you need from there. The room is comfortable but the walls are rather thin so you could hear your next door neighbour's conversation. The hotel can arrange your transfer to Suratthani airport or to the jetty (to Koh Samui).

Great service”

The staff is very helpful and friendly helping us booking the ferry ticket to koh samui. Also calling the bike rental service using her phone. This hotel is next to 7 eleven which is very convenient. However, it is a bit far from the public transport hub. Walking distance to Saturday night market and bismillah halal food restaurant. This restaurant only open until 2pm. At night you can find halal food at the Saturday night market area. There are few stall near the river.

Central hotel with good conditions!”

We booked a standard double room and opend the door from the room and we were thinking wow, what a big room! And so clear! A good Aircon in the room with a TV and a big bathroom with enough space between the toilet and the big shower! One big bed, really comfortable. Next the hostel is a seven eleven and a Tesco. To the market at the river you only walk over the bridge and then turn left to the river. Maximum 10 Minutes. 15 or 20 Minutes to the bus station from phantip!

Basic but all I needed”

The hotel is located near the city center, and within 2km of places I needed to visit. It's basic but rooms have a/c, a small fridge and very slow wifi. Room is fairly big with also a fairly big bathroom.
