It is a lovely hotel in Male. Super clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Nice design in such a small and jam packed city. A lot of food options nearby. Great airport pickup and drop off. Lovely breakfast. We went on an excursion but it was subcontracted so it didn’t live up to the standard the hotel was trying to sell. But the attentive manager helped us to find a good way out and helped us find back the phone that was lost in an local island. Male (if you have been to Malaysia/Thailand; there is no entertainment at all for tourist) is not exactly a tourist destination but I would definitely recommend the hotel you stay for a night or two for transit.

Extremely courteous staff. Guests are received with a very warm welcome. Staff is justifiably proud to be working at this hotel and eager to be helpful. Comfortable rooms for a city hotel. Attractive decor and attention to detail in foyer, rooms and restaurant. Exceptional food prepared by a talented chef who took the time to chat about his passion. We wished we had more days there to try out other menu items. Transfer from airport and for hotel speedboat efficient - all details were taken care of by staff. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Male.

Excellent service & wonderful stay”
Booked the hotel last minute (3days before) but was able to arrange airport transfer smoothly through email. Upon arrival at the airport, was warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable personnel who led us to the car. He shared with us details about maldives and gave some tips on where to go. At the hotel lobby, there were cold drinks served and the checking in process was seamless. Eman, the receptionist, was attentive to my earlier request made. There was a cake and nice bed decoration prepared upon entering the room to celebrate our anniversary. The room was very cosy and comfortable. It has a nice corner balcony that faces the waters and Male airport. Overall, a pleasant experience and definitely recommended

Nice overnight stay”
Still new looking 11 store hotel (built in 2018). Room was clean and very nice, large enough for 2. Beautiful brown and beige colors dominate the room and overall hotel impression. 10 minutes from the airport, complimentary shuttle bus with personal service at the airport. Very convenient. Restaurant on the 10th floor with nice view on the water/harbour. Roof top also with view over city and sea. Extremely friendly staff. Downsides: built next to a mosque. So around 5 am the muezzin is calling for the prayers. The hotel is offering complimentary ear buds in the room. Very thoughtful! You also can use them anytime because the rooms are very noisy. You here the other guests from the floor. But besides that, still a nice hotel to stay before you move onto your resort island the next day. I would come again.

I love everything about this hotel. The rooms are spotless. The staff is helpful and polite. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and the food is good and reasonable. Of all the hotels I have stayed at this is my favorite hotel in Male. They will also store your excess luggage in case you are going on a seaplane and your baggage weight is limited. This hotel is also close to the airport and gives you free airport transfers!

Great hotel for transit ”
After going to resort for 2 nights stay , we decided to stay one extra night in Male n booked this hotel at Agoda as prices was reasonable n location was good . Transfer to n from airport was provided without extra charge which was great appreciated . Room was a bit small but understandable as main island of Male has limited land . Hotel is located next to a big mosque so dont be surprise with first prayer at 4 am but it was for only 2 mins . Another the bed construction at edge instead of been rounded has sharp edge so be careful as it very painful if u knocked with your leg ....otherwise hotel is overall great .

Was picked up at the airport by Samann staff and luggage etc was well taken care off, rooms were in clean and good conditions. Bed was comfortable. Samann staff also ensured that our connecting flights were taken care off and dropping us back at the international airport

Great value for Maldives ”
We stayed one night here because we flew in in the evening and didn’t want to pay the rates of our resort for only a few hours. It turned out to be great! The price included pickup and drop off from the hotel. When we got dropped off they brought us right to our resort representative so there was no confusion. They welcome you at the hotel with cold towels and drinks, the room is very fun and homey. The location is very close to the bridge that connects to the airport so the travel time is really short. The only downsides would be that we could hear everything going on in the hallway while we were in our room. Also there is a mosque that does early morning prayers we were warned about, but we never heard them.

Everything was great, only that sound proofing was not so good.. fan will make some noises n the mosque beside that makes you up at 5am which staff warns beforehand n reviews mentioned. Room was perfect, although I requested for double bed and was given, high floor too.. breakfast was way above average, good quality and decent selection. Had dinner too although a tad pricey was still a very decent meal. Service is a full score for me even if it’s only a 1 night stay especially from restaurant, reception n airport pickup I can’t nitpick anything! Jumeila from reception and Asif from airport pickup team are the stars! Super highly recommended !!

Nothing to say against the hotel, new, modern design, nice view on the bay. Breakfast is not exciting but ok for 4 star hotel. area around is safe Loud voice in the morning from the mosque but very shortly All in all - if I will have to stay in Male again, this new hotel is a good choice.

The location of the hotel is close to Ferry terminal, about 5 min walk. There is a complimentary airport transfer to catch up the departure flight. Staff have prepared the cake and decorate our room to celebrate our honeymoon. They are helpful to locate the spots nearby

Okay for one night stay before flight”
Staff very friendly, nice decor, room very small but enough for one night, mosque outside bedroom window so woken very early for call to prayer...but earplugs available in bedside drawer and you are advised by staff to use them. Call to prayer may be an issue in any Male town centre hotel though. Nice hotel for an overnight stay.

Stopover before our Trip”
I stayed at the hotel overnight before our stay at the Sheraton. It was a very cozy hotel with a nice sized room, bathroom and service. The hotel staff was very friendly and quickly attended to us. We had breakfast in the morning which was nice. It had a fair selection and the staff again were always helpful. The hotel provided us transport back to the airport and connected us to the next resort. The transaction was very smooth and a pleasant experience. Would recommend the hotel to anyone staying over for a night before heading to their subsequent resorts.
