Excellent Hotel!”

The Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka is a great option for travelers. The location is excellent - quick walk to the train station and close to two convenient stores. It was very quiet, modern and clean. The staff were always very helpful and kind. I stayed 9 nights and would pick the Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka again. I used Osaka as a base while I also explored Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, so it was easy to get to all three locations via the trains at Shin-Osaka station. I also enjoyed seeing the sites in Osaka. I was very pleased with the hotel and enjoyed my lengthy stay.

The hotel itself is more spacious than other 3 star hotels in Japan and location is perfect! It's 5 mins. walk to the Midotsuji subway station and Shin-Osaka JR Station, which means you can go to anywhere you want to go. Shin-Osaka is also where the Shinkansen stop is and there's airport bus transfer from Shin-Osaka to Itami airport, so the hotel is perfectly located for anyone, especially with heavy/many luggages. 7-Eleven and Nakau (Japanese fastfood restaurant) is just a minute away from the hotel also and Shin-Osaka has restaurants, so food's not a problem. The plus point for this hotel than any other hotels I've stayed in Japan is it provides a free android mobile in your room, which you can bring out and used for Google map and browsing the internet. The data on the mobile will clear out on the day of your check out. And it has discount vouchers which you can use for some tourist locations in Osaka. Overall great experience staying in this hotel!

Exceptional”

This is our second time staying with the hotel. The first was with my husband only. This time it was with my brother and sister-in-law. Pros: The location is near Shin-Osaka Station an access point to ride shinkansen to Hiroshima and Kobe. Easy to go to Kyoto. Dotonburi is easily accessible via Midosuji line which is also near the hotel. Shin-Osaka Station has plenty of stores and restaurants. We like it very much that we were able to leave our luggage for free with the hotel when we went to Sapporo and went back after 3 days (for a fee if you are not staying in their hotel when you come back from a short trip in Japan). Our luggage was already in our room when we came back for an overnight stay. Breakfast value for money. Cons: None I will definitely recommend Sarasa Hotel to my families and friends.

Great Location near Shin-Osaka Station”

Sarasa is close to Shin-Osaka station with convenience stores and restaurants close. The hotel has 2 coin (400 yen) washer-dryer units. The breakfast is an extra 1000 yen and has local and European offerings. Early in the morning it is crowded.. Checkout is 1000. The photo of the Deluxe Triple makes the room look spacious for 4 people but it is not as it involves one person sleeping on the open sofa which I do not recommend because the mattress is hard. The bathroom is good. There is a mobile phone for use. Bring an adapter if you have a grounded (US) plug as the outlets are standard 2 prong. The TV is all in Japanese. The hotel staff were excellent and helpful. To exit the station go to the central/west exit area (Metro) and take 2 escalators down to the food level and exit right(to the street). Follow the crowd right. You will go under the street to the station. Keep right at the 7-11 then left at the Family Mart. After the 7-11 go right. Sarasa is 100 meters on your left.

Pretty New Hotel and good Location To Shin-Osaka Station”

Pros 1. Decent value for money 2. Good size for a triple room (has space for even a Sofa in the middle) 3. Very good location, only a few hundred meters to Shin-Osaka Station and also subway station - good if you have loads of luggage with you. But note there are other slightly nearer hotels to the station even. But you need to know how to exit to make best use of the shortest distance from station to hotel and vice-versa. in my opinion, get out by the JR central exit of the Shin-Osaka station. 4, Hotel is new and everything looks great 5. Free smartphone (if you are into that sort of thing) 6. Decent breakfast (although the spread could have been better)...but note that Osaka station has loads of options for food if you don't have breakfast included. 7. Decent size bathroom/tub (for my triple room, which comes with separate WC) Cons None really (for the price I paid)

Exceptional”

The hotel is situated near Shin-Osaka station. It is about 5-8mins away from Shin-Osaka station. There ain’t much to do around the hotel, except, perhaps, seven eleven and family mart. Shin-Osaka is pretty much a dead town at night. It would be good if the hotel have some entertainment room or fitness centre to cater for its customer. Notwithstanding the above, the staff are friendly, who tries to explain to me how to proceed with my itinerary, albeit, the staff, unable to communicate much English. Also, and the room are clean, just, don’t expect the room to be big. The hotel is value for money, and for anyone looking for a stop over before heading out of Osaka via Shin Osaka.

Good location with great amenities, very polite staff”

From Shin-Osaka Station, go right down to level 1 and turn right. There will be a few restaurants on the right and the main road is on the left. Walk right to the end and you will see a small tunnel with many bicycles parked near the entrance of the tunnel. Go through the tunnel. Once outside the tunnel, you will see a 7-eleven and Via Inn hotel on the opposite side of the road. Cross the road to the 7-eleven and continue walking straight and you will see a zebra crossing on the right. Cross the zebra crossing and continue walking straight, pass by Midosuji line (exit 7) on the right. Continue walking and you will see another zebra crossing and a Family Mart on the opposite side of the road. Cross the zebra crossing and turn left, pass the Family Mart and continue walking straight till you reach a small road with another 7-eleven. Continue walking straight and pass the 7-eleven till you reach another small road. Turn right into the small road and Sarasa Hotel will be on the left.

Good place to stay”

The staff in the hotel were very kind and accomodating. They are also very helpful to foreign visitors and will give out good recommendations (for food and travel). This hotel is near the Metro Osaka Shin-Osaka train line (almost 2 to 3 mins walking) . If travelling from JR Shin-Osaka you need to take the central exit down towards the hotel and it will take a good 5 to 10 minute walk. Overall, it's a good place to stay. The room was very clean and they provide clean towels and toiletries. Will stay here again if we go back to Osaka.

Its our first time to Japan and our last day at japan that we decide to stay at Sarasa Shin Osaka Hotel. I will preface my review by letting you know that I made my booking 3 months ahead of time. The hotel is fairly close to Shin-Osaka Station, which we were accessing to travel daily to other cities eg. Kobe and Kyoto. We had visited Osaka previously and didn't need to visit again. When you arrive, to help you get your bearings, when you exit from the east gate and are outside the station, if you look to your right you will see the tallest building in the area (Sky Tower) the hotel is just behind it in a straight line as you look at the tower.The staff at the hotel were lovely although, as we have found on out travels in Japan, English is very difficult for the Reception staff. Even when the hotel advertises that their staff speak English. Breakfast was acceptable with quite a variety to choose from, although the hot dishes weren't. On the downside the rooms are small the bathroom is cramped and there is no black tea or coffee provided in your room, only powdered green tea.

Great Location”

The location was perfect for my travels. I purposely stayed by Shin-Osaka station for easy access to JR lines to get me to Kyoto. The hotel is a quick 3-4 minute walk to Osaka Station - Midosuji Line. This line took you directly to the main attractions in Osaka: Namba/Shinsaibashi/Dontonbori within 10-15 minutes. Around the corner from this line is the main Shin-Osaka station where the JR lines and Shinkansen's run [Kyoto/KIX]. The room itself was very comfortable and great for solo traveling, no complaints. Keep up the great work!

Best location, value for money”

Pros: - Located at walking distance from Shin Osaka station (Metro exit). - Relatively new interior. -Clean and spacious. -Located at walking distance from Shin Osaka station (Metro exit). - Friendly and helpful staffs. Cons (actually related to the access from Shin Osaka - not for the hotel) Unfortunately no elevator from the train platform (3 floors), so it will be quite difficult to bring big luggage or baby stroller. But overall, I'm highly recommend this hotel!

Convenient, Near Osaka Shin Station, Shinkansen, Price is Good”

We were looking for an urgent hotel to stay just overnight, due to the typhoon. And we found a good price deal from Agoda for this hotel. The hotel is very near to Shin-Osaka station for our Shinkansen bullet train ride. The subway is there too. Walking distance. Convenience store is just nearby too. Very friendly and responsive receptionist staff . Room is rather small, but it's good for just the both of us. Very clean. Reasonable. I will book here again if i come to osaka. Good price .

everything is great.location 550m/7min from jr shin osaka station central exit (road is available if you bring large luggage through up and downs but still okay) and 280m/3min from shin osaka st metro exit 7. near lawson and 7-11.just follow google maps. we took economy twin..the room is average small but still able to open 2 large luggage together.cleanliness is great. tha bathroom is small but clean and we loved toiletries (just know pola and we loved it!) you dont need ur own toiletries because they give you complete toiletries...hairdryer..sleeprobe..large and small towel. we even get smartphone each room provided with gps, data and for international call (but we dont use it..afraid gonna lose it in our way out) 😂

Good Points : I spent 6 nights here with single room and very happy! Room was big enough for solo traveler and amentities were enough for usage. Bed, pillows, blanket were comfy and clean, well sleep and hardly to wake up. Air condition is cool enough though. Bathtub is wide, hot water was easy to adjust and lie down in hot water was something nice from all day long walking. Staffs were assertive and willing to help, the entire hotel is clean and bright as it's newly open. The very important thing is the hotel located extreamly close to Shin-Osaka Station both for local subway line and JR line, easy to access within 5 mins of walk base on my short legs LOL. I would DEFINITELY get back here if I have a chance to come back to Osaka. Also, There are Family Marts, 7-Eleven, and Lawson nearby. Weak Points : No wardrobe and only 4 hangers were available, a bit free space in room, if you wish to hang your cloths, it may not easy.

Hotel was good, nice ramen stall opposite. Lawson, 7-11 and family mart are close by. As we travelled with elderlies and babies there were a number of logistics consideration to take care of.. JR station has elevator facilities as we have strollers and wheelchair we find that helpful. The shin-osaka metro station though, was a challenge every night when we came back as theres no elevator.. so we had to carry these down the stairs. Thankfully everything went well and hotel staffs were helpful in assisting the sending of our luggages to our tokyo hotel. A pleasant stay in Osaka! Pls keep up the good work.

Excellent Hotel - Top Value for Money in Osaka”

My wife and I were staying at Sarasa Shin-Osaka for 5 nights and we enjoyed everything offered by the hotel especially the delicious breakfasts. The staffs were all very polite and helpful! We have no doubt and will surely stay at this hotel if we even visit Osaka again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The hotel room we got was big and the toilet was separate from the shower which was a good setup for a group of 4. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. This is really close to the Midosuji Shin-Osaka station. The distance from the JR Shin-Osaka station too is not that far too. A lot of convenience stores nearby too. The room was big enough to accommodate our luggage as well.

Great value hotel”

This hotel is located near Shin-Osaka station. Not incredibly close but about an 8-10 minute walk from it. The rooms are modern, slightly bigger than average rooms in Japan. The staff is very kind and the overall hotel is nice and quiet. There are several convenience stores nearby and the subway is close as well. It's a great value/quality option and you can use the subway to get to popular places in Osaka such as Namba, Dotonbori river and Tennoji Temple.
