Quiet, comfortable, relaxing stopover”

We didn't stay first in Sasidara and it also will not be our last stay. Quality is great, the hotel well maintained, the staff friendly and the location perfect if you want to mix Nan culture with a relaxing stopover on the way to Luang Prabang. Compare with other top travelers destinations (same like Chiang Khan for example), Nan and here the Sasidara Resort is a perfect place to stop after a long day trip. Why? Price / service level simple matches!

of our 2 week holiday in thailand, this was out favourite overnight stay. it is a better standard than just about any other hotel (exceptions being marriott, hilton etc). resort is marriott-esque with separate buildings for rooms, reception, breakfast, spa, etc. breakfast is in a lovely outdoor setting around lake. pool was difficult to find, due to the size of the resort, but worth the wait. staff were friendly and helpful. we decided to extend our stay at the expense of another location, as we enjoyed it so much. if you are visiting nan, you simply must stay here - you will not be disappointed.

peacefulness near the town”

situated a few minutes drive from the hotel to nan downtown, it's very convenience. room was standard clean but the wall is too thin so that you can hear the next room tv (we stay at the deluxe one) breakfast was very delicious and the receptionists are nice. it suites for hanging out with friends or family which you may need outdoor space to sitting and watching the star together.

A charming hotel”

It felt like a 4 star hotel, not just 3. The rooms are well decorated and AC works well. The hotel is situated in a quiet, scenic setting with lots of open space around it. The buildings are attractive Thai style. Easy parking and just a few minutes to the center of Nan city. The service I received was great from the helpful staff. Everything was very positive.

Beautiful Resort”

This is quite a nice hotel. Nan is a remote city that doesn't receive much tourism, though it is deserved. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend that you rent a motorbike or automobile during your visit. It makes getting back and forth cheap and easy. I think my motorbike rental was 200 Baht per day ($6 USD) and I used it to go EVERYWHERE. In fact, you may want to reserve one up front. I think the one I rented was the only one they had.

After driving through curling mountain roads to Nan, we luckily were able to find the hotel quiet easily. It was late in the evening, dark already and it was still raining heavily. The rain had turned the hotel area into a small pool. The next days we discovered that the whole province suffered from the heavy rainfall. We stayed for two days, and visited the city and its surrounding attractions. The hotel delivered us the necessary resting time,in a quiet environment, and in the very green province of Nan.

Just OK”

I stayed here because my (Thai) wife, who is from Nan, and I were visiting her mother in a nearby village. It was a good deal on Agoda, and it looked nice, but as we all know, internet photos rarely match the reality. It was OK -- just OK. Certainly not a resort. The grounds are fine to walk around, but the staff is lacksadaisical, and as others have commented, the swimming pool is far away and hard to find. In fact, it's adjacent to the owner's private residence and there's no clear enrty path except walking through the owner's driveway, so very awkward. Despite the photos, it also seemed as if the pool had not been cleaned recently, so we passed on a swim. One irritating quirk -- on Sunday morning at 9.30 AM, despite the hotel-supplied Do Not Disturb sign on the doorknob, the maid entered our room while we were inside -- fortunately not naked or doing anything we would not want the maid to see. All in all, if you are in Nan, it's a good enough place to be -- much nicer than one of the in-town hotels. You will need your own car, though.

Nice Hotel and very great facilities in Nan”

Hotel has good space and very wide resort , there are full facilities for support staying, we reserve suite room with 3 people and it is value for money big room, in front of swimming pool views and seperate from the main building, ABF is ok but not variety and mostly for local food. Room very good with all facility. Free shuttle to and from the airport is provided without any charge. Hotel around 2 kms to Phumin Temple and City Hall then need to have car or motorcycle to reach there and can ask hotel to provide shuttle.

It is a nice hotel for staying for a few days since Nan is a very nice city to spend time in the city.

Nice resort with natural surrounding”

It's a resort style accommodation, suitable if u want your stay to be peaceful and quiet. Hotel condition is very new and very clean. The surrounding area in the resort is very nice & natural. In the morning, you can give food to Thai monks who come to the resort & neighbourhood every morning. But you should have a car (it will take around 20 minutes walk to the city center).

Lovely hotel in a nice environment.”

Altough we reserved a superior room with twin beds, it does not exist only in standard room. Staff was very friendly and accomodated a second bed for us. Be carefull with the swimming pool, the wodden terrasse around the pool is rotten, I personnaly experienced it while walking on it and one of the board broke down, my left leg went down the quiet deep. Could not lift my leg as the knee was stuck between 2 boaards. Fortunately one of th eemployee saw me and immediately came to rescue me. Hadto brack another board to amplify the space so i could retrieve my leg. Results cuts and broozes all along the leg. Staff gave me little green medicine to apply on the dammage parts. Was hurting but it did work very well. Had 2 blue marks above the knee for a while. So check if they did reepair the terrasse, the water also did not seem to be very clean, but never had the opportunity to try it.

Relaxing and quiet place”

Was looking for a nice luxurious, and also quiet hotel to get away for a while. This hotel has great rooms and facilities and i would recommend it and would go there again. Helpful staff but had problems understanding english.

Peaceful & lovely but a bit far from city centre”

Stay for the first time, I like the spacious of the room and quietness of the area. The breakfast was not that impressive, it is marginal, could have done much better. Staff were very helpful and full of service minds. Great price for off-season deal.

what's a beautiful garden”

I love a garden and beautiful plants around the area. It room is very comfort and privacy. The environment is very relaxing, nice swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast is good quality and fresh. The room is quite spacious to sit and relax.

The hotel needs renovation and cleanliness improvement.”

I booked this hotel at last minute ( 10 am on the check in date) as we decided to stay longer in Naan and most hotels were fully booked. We arrived there at night. From most reviews I saw I knew the hotel is old but it said the hotel was renovated in 2020. The room was really dirty with hair on the floor, dust on the wall, spiderweb on cloth closet, shower area and on the lampshade over the bed. I tried to clean the area by myself but at the end went to the reception for help. She came with dry mob which did not help. I would like to raise the concern to the owner to make sure the hygiene and cleanliness of the property is up to the standard since the customer is paid to stay there. Sasidara Resort”

The hotel is located in a beautiful garden area. Rooms are not big but nice and clean. In the garden there is a nice looking restaurant. In the restaurant we met a problem, as they had on the menu a special offer htat we chose. But we were told that you are not allowed to have it as you are not staying in an expensive room enough. We of course became very angry as there were no mentioning about who is allowed to order the food. After fighting we could have the food by paying something extra for it. But otherwise a nice hotel distroyed its image for us with this stupid insident.

Friendly and willing to help staffs but not effective service.”

- Location is not perfect to walk to nearby tourist's interesting points but at least the resort has shuttle service to and from the airport. - Staffs were friendly and willing to help within their capability (which is not much for some problems) - The room was not well cleaned. The obviously-stained, used blanket was not changed before accepting me in. The floor and wood furnitures were covered with fine dirt almost everywhere. - The facilities were not meet expectation for the price. The toiletry is scarce. The position and design of electricity switches and wall outlets were remarkably impractical. You must leave bedside lamps on while falling asleep to use the bedside wall outlets to charge your phone, or else you have to charge it at other outlets far from the bed. You must go into the dark toilet to turn on its lights. Room phone was completely dead. A very bright spotlight was directly pointed to the bed with its switch at the front door (Why?). Etc. But at lease, WiFi worked.
