Don’t recommend that place... Despite the sleeping mattress there’s nothing in the room. ”
The room is closed on bike lock, with no furniture at all. We got towels with stains and no bedsheet to cover. During the night we had cocroaches in the bathroom...

Good”
Very simple bungalows, in a great beachside location. Our main concern was mosquitoes, which can fly in and out freely from the open bamboo structure. The room could use some dusting, a new mosquito net (there were a few small holes in it), and some more power outlets (there are only two, which are needed for the fans and mosquito repellent. That aside, not a bad option if you're looking for a bungalow at the cheaper end of the price scale. The best beach on Lipe is a 10 min walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed.

Hot Place”
The location is great as near to the beach but with only 2 fan in the room, its still very hot and a lot of insects. Not really suitable for couple and family. The location is a bit far away from the Walking street which is the main place of the island, I get a aircond room and its only USD 10 different from this resort. However, if u are looking for a nature stay thats ok for u!~

Extraordinary experience.”
If you are the kind of person that likes nature and you're ok with outdoor toilet, this will be ideal. The "house" as it is made up of bamboos and leaves, as you can see from their pictures. So inevitably, you'll get mosquitoes and 1-2 insects that will crawl in / fly in at night/day time. Not recommended for people who needs clean toilet / mosquitoes free indoor. No AC, No TV, very slow internet, you're basically disconnected to reconnect with the nature. Water heater broke down on the 2nd day of the stay, good thing was the staff apologised nicely. Luckily weather was hot so the cold shower was still bearable. Staff was friendly and helpful although they speak simple and minimum English, but suffice to communicate. Satun Dive also provide other activities e.g. snorkelling, diving, kayak. Customers get some discount. The beach has a lot of "busy boats", if you would like to enjoy your stay with peace and serenity, would recommend to stay at sunset beach. Overall, it was good.

Laid back”
It is small resort but fully equipped with basic amenities. This is a place you want to stay at if you want a laid back holiday. Traveled with 3 small children aged between 6-11, the resort accommodated extra requests of bedding etc. Will definitely go back!

A lovely place to stay but not when it's hit”
The huts on the resort are lovely and all really close to the beach. The furthest no more than 30m away the nearest 10m. There's a bed in the hut covered by a mosquito net and a small outdoor bathroom at the back. I really liked this set up. I visited late Feb for a few days and the night time temperature was ok. There's no aircon which will make a big difference in high season. If you have a hammock you can string it up on the veranda area and I loved to lay in it in the afternoon. Beware of mosquitos as it gets dark. I would certainly return

Chilled, genuine..they got it right”
Great location near sunrise beach, huts feel super cosy, bathroom is outside but private to your hut only and super cosy as and well. Feels clean. Safe. Beach bar understands how millennials work. The whole island just gets it. Big difference to the other Thai islands.

The huts are small but ultra eco with bamboo floors and walls and an open roof bathroom attached. Just meters from the beach with amazing views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Like all of Koh Lipe the WiFi is spotty at best.

Horrible”
Location: sunset beach was by far the most beautiful beach on the island. This hotel is about midway. There are a lot of (noisy) long tail boats right in front of the resort. Cleanliness: the first thing I noticed was the blood on the front door. It did not improve as we went inside. There was debris on the floor, the bathroom was grimy. The shower floor is rocks, with a matte of hair cover the top of it. The towels were dirty. The garbage was never changed. The mosquito net had huge holes and blood on it as well. The deluxe bungalows are also open air so there are MANY mosquitos inside, and the net did not help (I woke up with 50+ bites just on my legs). Staff: we asked for clean towels and the staff simply looked at us, spoke with one another, helped another customer and then never got back to us. At a later time we mentioned the mosquitos and received the same reaction. When we checked out after two (of five) nights there, the woman at the reception just stared at us blankly.

Very basic bungalow with a lot of holes for the cockroaches to crawl in”
Pros: just next to the beach, location is perfect Cons: very basic with minimum facilities. No room cleaning during our 3 nights stay. First night there was a big cockroach in our room and after that we slept keeping lights on for no more unwanted visitors. The second night we had a huge cricket in our room but we saw no more roaches. Koh Lipe is overpriced, but you will find better than this...

Back to natural ”
Pros: The Hotel is very near to Sunrise Beach, just right in front of the resort. Cons: I booked bungalow which the room is very back to natural, even the toilet is open air & there is every limited power socket to give us to on the fan, indoor insects repellent and our own equipment charging. And the most important is WIFI connection is very limited in their resort, the staff told us because there is too many people using hence we totally not getting any connection at all, so that day we didn’t get any contact with our networks. So.... we sleep very early that day, however we feel that is very insecure due to we can hear people walking around as the door does not have proper door lock.

Beware of Bedbox in B2”
Might be romantic to try a hut for one night, confort is at the minimum for that kind of price in Thailand, we had a private bathroom and the hot shower was ok , we just didn’t expect to have the bed box in extra for our first night in Koh Lipe. Location is good.
