Besides a buch of mosquito and a snack and bird nets on the roof there is No restaurant available. No water activity available even the beach activity such as beach chair and kayak are available. Hotel guest need to take taxi and eat n drinks drinks out. Despite the hotel keeper which is young nice but seems to be lack of experience on hitel manangement. We definitely tell friends that dont believe on the website photo. Big mistake to stay at this place.

Had 2 nights at the resort. Love the place and how quiet and tranquil it is. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend to couples. Have to take taxi (50 baht per person) though u can walk but will take quite some time. Overall we had a nice time and will definitely stay in the same resort if we were to return to Koh Lipe

Very nice view, especially in the evening as it's on the sunset part of the island. You get to use the private beach to yourself since there're hardly anybody else on this secluded part of the island, but it's advisable to wear water shoes as it's a rocky beach. Service is impeccable, nice staff around, I was provided with a handphone that I can call to request for pick-up back to hotel from walking street, this service is provided foc. Breakfast is nice with a decent selection from the menu, some titbits in room are provided foc as well. Only setback is that it's quite far from walking street.

Our mini honeymoon was made unforgettable with the wonderful service and unbeatable sea views at Sawan. Insects aplenty no doubt due to the rustic surroundings, but that was just a mere stain on this wonderful holiday. Was a little pricey but for the privacy and surroundings i think it may be worth it.

to sum up: simply great! its a bit further away from the walking street but the hotel has a taxi service for free. (also pick up) the rest is very good. great room, private beach! only 5 rooms what i thought is nice! and also an extra adventure are the exotic insects and animals you`ll meet. :) but hey...we are in their area. :)

The beach area (which is much smaller than on the photos) was under construction, bar and deck not useable, only two old dirty chairs to lay on. all the green between the bungalows was cut off and therefore there was only a muddy hill view visible, beside the way down to the beach they dumped all the cut down plants which resulted in a not too nice view of rotten vegetation. The construction on the beach bar facilities meant the whole day loud noise. the pictures on the website do not reflect how the resort is in shape currently, we assume it is linked to the new local management. When we moved out they were somehow upset I assume, so they let me carry all the luggage alone although demanding the full three nights payment. All in all not very professional which is sad since there is big potential for the place.

Me and my bf we were just overly satisfied about everything the resort staff have ever done for us. The service is undoubtedly the best thing we have to mention. We had troubles to buy tickets from Lipe to Krabi due to a off-season situation but soon we found problems solved by thoughtful staff and the lovely girl from the reception. Everything was perfectly settled. Besides, things I love most about the resort would be its location and food. The sunset beach is rated as the worst beach on the island when compared with pattaya and sunrise beach but we just hold the opposite opinions. This beach is way quieter and more private to have an intimate stay with your partner and the sunset there you can see is just killing it. Having meals on the cliff and enjoying a massage at their massage centre are highly recommended. During our stay, Natalia, the cute dog adopted by the resort staff came over for several times which brought us lots of fun. I guess Sawan is just the best you can have in Koh Lipe.

This place is unreal, it's gotta be paradise. The view from our room was breathtaking and service was impeccable right from check-in to check-out. Natalie their resident dog is the sweetest and most gentle dog ever. She entered our room during our lunch and just sat with us in the balcony, enjoy the view (and food of course). We love everything about Sawan and will definitely be back again soon. We just hope this place stays as idyllic.

Very relaxing experience! We swam and snorkelled from the private beach everyday. The view is amazing and the rooms are beautiful.

Our stay was okay but we were surprised to discover that Agoda rates were actually much higher than the actual hotel rates. I am a long time user of Agoda so I didn't properly check actual hotel rates on their website beforehand. I trust Agoda's pricing is always better or at least in line with hotel rates. This was definitely not the case for this booking, and rates of Agoda for this particular hotel were in our opinion overrated. So all in all a disappointing experience.

I've been to a lot of resorts in Thailand and other countries and Sawan resort was the best ocean-side resort that I've ever stayed at. The staff were exceptional. They met me at the dock, provided excellent service throughout my stay. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Koh Lipe.

Fantastic and no regret. The staff are friendly, helpful and response immediately to your needs. Free shuttle everywhere in the island - my parents and family were very happy during our stay - bravo sawan.
