Possibly the best place to stay on Lonely Beach”

I've stayed at Sea Flower before, and I can still totally recommend it. There was a small mishap with my booking, I had tried to book an extra night but due to some miscommunication my room was not available when I arrived, so we had to go find one somewhere else, which was a little tricky because it being a very busy time. Staff was very helpful, though, driving around to find me a room, and I got to stay in one of the seafront bungalows of the resort next door, which was fine, too. I had a second row bungalow, so slightly further away from the ocean and slightly closer to the noisy party street, but it didn't bother me too much, and I had a rooftop terrace to watch the stars at night, which is quite nice. Bungalows are clean, spatious, nice fridge, good air conditioning and offer enough privacy too. I'll definitely be back again next year.

Good Lonely Beach Accommodiation”

Sea Flower Resort is worth a visit. The resort is well maintained and the quality of the accommodation is good. The staff are very helpful. Just be aware, though, that as the guidebooks warn you, there is plenty of noise during the night from the nearby bars.

Great stay, nice area, surprising ending”

In general a really nice resort. Great area if you want to be fast in the bar area of lonely beach. Clean and nice resort. But at the end they charged us 200thb for a dirty towel from our deposit. 200thb, really? It cost new at macro maybe 50thb. And what do you guys expect a towel can look like after staying here 5 days without a towel change? Not cool!

Great location spoiled only by loud drum n bass at night.”

We booked a bungalow with a fan for less then a £100 for 7 nights. After the first night we thought about finding somewhere else to stay...not because the room was awful - it was fine for what it was - but because of the constant thud of loud bass overnight. We asked if we could upgrade to a Seaview bungalow with aircon which the owner was able to do for us. The rooms are larger, in better condition and are shielded more against the noise. You can still hear the bass at night but if you sleep deeply or wear ear plugs you should be fine. Just remember Lonely Beach is not a quiet resort - the Cancun bar is always having a party on the beach...even if no one is going, which they weren't when we there. The locals hate the noise but a lot of the young tourists do too. We think Lonely Beach is going to have to adapt to a changing market soon, or they'll lose business. Overall Seaflower is a very budget friendly and lovely place to stay only slightly spoiled by the loud bass music at night.

Great location! Small but perfectly formed”

Really nice resort in a great location, 5 minutes walk to Lonely Beach and 5 minutes walk to all the decent bars. Its out of the way enough to not suffer from all the noise that other resorts do in the same area. The rooms are small but clean and we had a beautiful sea view. Great location for any solo travellers too.

Nice resort with perfect location and staff.”

Sea Flower resort is nice tidy place with amazing location and unbeatable prices. Bungalows are quite nice but due to humidity I would recommend everyone with air-con not only fan. Only the negative thing was that they are writing on the door that your room is being cleaned every 3 days with changing towels and this is not true. We had to always ask and they cleaned our room after week when I had to tell them. Otherwise all other perfect.

Nice for a while, but bad beds”

We stayed at the Sea Flower for a total of eight nights in one of their Fan Room bungalows. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the lovely sites around the bungalows including Lonely Beach (about 5-10 minutes away on foot). The manager of the resort speaks English acceptably well but in a manner that comes across as insincere or non-comittal. The good: the bungalow is fairly new, so almost everything was usable. It is situated very close to the shore; one can even see the sea from the balcony. The balcony is comfortable, and we spent most of our time there. The resort takes in part of the shore and has set up some chairs for guests to sit in. We watched the sun set every afternoon from these. In fact, the grounds were well-kept and well-lit. The bad: When we got to our bungalow, we discovered that one of the windows did not close, so there was no way to secure our room. The manager immediately took us to a new bungalow, but it had an awful view. After some complaining, he took us back and promised to come fix the window. He did, taking about an hour to do so. By the time we left, it was broken again. By far, the biggest disappointment was the bed. It was so lumpy that my wife and I lost a lot of sleep. This was aggravated by the noise of the bars that are very nearby. The cacophony emanating from these could be heard well into the wee hours of the morning. In conclusion, not bad for the price but maybe not suitable for long stays.

Would come back”

The rooms are nothing special but they are pretty clean and roomy and the little terrace is very nice. The bungalows are less then 5 mins away from the lonely beach centrum but this is the perfect distance so the music won't keep you up all night. (We stayed at another hotel pretty much in centrum where we had to stay up all night because of the music)

Just what we needed and wanted”

We wanted somewhere on lonely beach that was close to the beach. Although this hotel is not right on a sandy beach, there are some bungalows with a sea view and it's only a 5 minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach. Our room was basic but very clean. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful. There are noisy bars near by, our room was closest to them and you could barely hear them, it did not affect my sleep and I am a light sleeper.

Good value”

This resort is on the stony part of the beach, but it is just a short walk from the sandy part of Lonely Beach. The bungalows are spacious and clean, and so are the bathrooms. The resort can be entered from the main road and from the Lonely Beach village, which makes it really comfortable. The bungalows are really quiet, which is very important if you're staying here on a Friday or a Saturday night, when all the parties are taking place. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Flower! Friendly and helpfull staff. Good restaurant with fair prices. The budget fan bungalow is simple but very cosy. Close to restaurants, shops and the Beach. We recommed, and will definitley return some day!

We had a good time! Be careful to choose the SEA Flower, not the Sun Flower next door ;-) It is short distance to the Beach and local restaurants. Quiet at night. You can hear the Ocean while laying in bed. AC available. Great massage available. All in all very good value for the money.

For price ok”

I stayed in fan bungalow near the reception. The room is small with fullvof queen bed. Those with many luggages will have problem finding place to keep them (plan accordingly). Staff is friendly, I stayed for weekend, lonely beach will start re-openjng again after the Covid pandemic. The place is near bars, but far away from noice. The water view is also a plus for relaxation and it's 10 minute walk from swimming beach. I recommend to this place for anyone looking for no-thrills budget accomodations.

Cute place to stay for a couple of nights”

Me and my partner have stayed here many many times for little weekend getaways. It's just a bed and a bathroom but it's all you need when you're at lonely beach. :) Be sure to get one of the bigger bungalows because they're just a close to the beach; you will still be able to hear the ocean and end up with more space. The ocean front ones tend to be a bit smaller.

Right next to the bar strip, but still quiet once you're in the resort, it's the ideal place to stay in lonely beach. Would recommend

Seaview bungalows in a beautiful garden ”

I really liked the seaview Bungalow I had. The garden is so beautiful and it was great waking up with that view of garden and sea in the morning. It is not right in the middle of the party area but still absolutely perfect to reach bars, restaurants and the beach. I would always come back and stay there again. The only thing is that they do not clean the room every day - that would be great though.

Aircon bungalow on half way between the beach and the village”

Pretty unfriendly staff at the reception. We were given a room in a 5-room bungalow first, but our neighbours were very loud night watching tv, drinking, talking, so we moved to another house, for one couple only. Strictly speaking it was on the second line, but the seaview was quite nice. We booked in our national currency and had to pay the original price at the resort, without our agoda discount. Doesn't accept cards.

Amazing sea view rooms - close to bars”

Room is quite spacious enough for 2 people, but i didn’t like the bed as it is too soft and low. the blankets provided are wool and very hot and itchy. the light in the bathroom is a little dim. No soap and shampoo provided. good water pressure with hot water. Friendly staff. No facilities like pool or restaurant, but they have small convenience store inside the resort and they have a massage area viewing the sea. Although massage is not that very good though and i wouldn’t recommend but the massage ladies are very friendly. the resort is close to all bars and restaurants.
