Another wonderful stay at Shama Lakeview Asoke”

I've been visiting Bangkok several times a year since 2014, and Shama Lakeview is always my preferred place to stay. The view of the lake park and Bangkok skyline is amazing, as are the amenities and the staff, who on my most recent stay really went out of their way to make sure I had the perfect room. The open-air pool, gym, and sauna are extra pluses, as they aren't frequently overrun with too many guests in the mornings and evenings, and the free tuk tuk service drops you within a 2-3 minute walk into the Asok/Sukhumvit BTS and Metro stations and shopping at Terminal 21. There is really nothing I'd change about the way this hotel is currently being run. Thank you to all the staff for another great experience.

Exceptional”

The hotel is definitely a good choice for big group or families! Together there are 6 of us this time and Mr Chok upgraded us to the new tower which everything is nice and clean. The rooms are well equipped as well! We enjoyed in-the-house cooking so much! Although it seems a bit far from the train station, the hotel has tok tok to send guests out to the main road, and the service is always available. So i would say it is not a big problem after all! ;) Thank you Shama Lakeview Asoke for the experience! Oh! and we love the swimming pool too!!

Another fantastic stay ”

I stayed here frequently when the hotel was Somerset Lakeview, and my most recent stay was the best yet. The redesign of the lobby and rooms under the new management took a beautiful hotel and made it even better. Nothing but stellar service from all of the staff, and a magnificent view of the lake park and Bangkok skyline. Just as I did under the previous ownership, I'll be recommending Shama to friends.

The hotel is in excellent condition with personal care and support, friendly staff, good service all round and well situated between restaurants and foodland, also very near to BTS and major shopping malls. I appreciate the hotel staff support and friendliness, and enjoy my stay always.

We had a great stay at Sharma Lakeview. The room (2-bdrm) was nicely decorated, very comfortable size for 4 of us and the cleaning staff did a great job daily. The hotel's location was good with a number of restaurants and massage parlors nearby, and they have a convenience store (Lawson) that can be accessed from the side of the hotel which was useful for buying snacks/necessities. Although the breakfast buffet was slightly repetitive after a few days, it was still very decent quality in terms of hotel breakfast standards and we couldn't complain. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again if back in Bangkok! A hidden gem :)

10min walking distance to BTS station of Sukhumvit Station and Asoke Station. Easy access to Platinum Mall, Central World and Four Buddha. Friendly staffs ever. Ask them anything, they would try their very best to help. The general workers came and cleaned our room everyday without fail. There is a Family Mart located just next door of the hotel, a 24-hour local mart in walking distance (less than 7min), two 7-11 convenient stores also along the street. Super convenient! There’s plenty of street food stalls open early morning 5-7+am as well as after dusk. Walking distance to many good music bars if you are looking for some night life. There’s a restaurant serving vegan cuisine, in walking distance too, called May Veggie Home, located just opposite of the main road of Exchange Tower building. Highly recommended hotel to stay!

2nd time staying after the management changed ”

Have been staying in this hotel for over 12 times, and this is my 2nd once it changed to Shama, They are currently renovating the building A. The location is superb for business and leisure. the staffs are friendly and you can call them for shuttle service if you prefer sky train. They do have a 24hr convenient store, a wonderful restaurant.

Great experience in BKK”

Great hotel with perfect staff!!! Take around 15mins walks to BTS, or tuk tuk service instead, if u r tired. Close with Family mart, or two 7-11 around 5mins. Room is super big and totally furnished. If u want something specially, just ask the staff, they will try their best to help. There are a lot of message shop in downstair, really really cheap, but usually full booking around 11pm to 1am. Not just the front desk staffs, but also the other department staffs, all of you was really nice and helpful. My parents gave all of you the highest rating. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!! 🥰🥰🥰 We all have a unforgettable experience in SHAMA.🥰🥰🥰

Nice hotel with nice staff”

The hotel room is big and same as I expected. It’s a bit far away from BTS Asok station, but there’s a free shuttle. The staff here were really nice. They helped us to pick up luggage on arrival. I highly recommend this hotel to people travelling in Bangkok.

I stayed total 4 nights excl breakfast. Highly appreciate the concierge team the gentlemen and front desk ladies, they are very cheerful and helpful. The shuttle golf car is always available. The car wl bring to you to the main road next Asoke BTS station by 5mins. The team wl also bring u back frm the drop point when u make them a phone call. U will wait ard 5mins in night time . Very frequent ! Room provides a smart tv, connecting yr mobile phone, speaker by Bluetooth, screen sharing via wifi. Watching Utube , playing games and music are easy surround in the room. But LG smart TV do not support IOS, only android and PC acceptance, suggest u bring hmdi Lane connector or etc if needed. Kitchen the tool is quite completed. U can cook anytime . A 24 hrs local supermarket is near by 8 walks. The pool is 25m length 1.20m depth but no lifeguard on duty. Building is not close And sunlight is no blockage. Good stay !

Free walk-up tuk tuk service hotel to main street makes for a convenient 5 minute walk to Asok BTS. Hotel and room in new condition and very clean. Upgraded to one bedroom unit. Swimming pool is excellent and deck spacious, would be even nicer if some trees were added. Choice of a-la-carte or buffet breakfast at different venues.

Great living experience in Bangkok”

Location is good. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the Asok station and hotel provides free tuk tuk car service. There are cafes and a convenient store next to the hotel. Staffs are friendly and polite. I am satisfied with this hotel.

Location is near BTS Asok Sukhumvit and there's a tuktuk that service the guests taking us from the hotel to Sukhumvit road.

Staffs of all levels are friendly and courteous. The team of concierge are super nice and they deserve more. Christoph, the hotel manager, is always around and ever-willing to help. Rooms are clean and spacious. Rooms are quite as they are located away from the main street.

It takes a little bit of time from BTS Asoke station to hotel, especially when the sun is strong. However, the hotel provide the pick up service back n forth in between hotel n the BTS station, which make our stay there earlier.

Got a very nice upgrade :) Hotel very clean and nice decor. Free tuktuk close to Asok BTS. Do not recommend walking from Asok with your luggage :)

I have been a long term return traveler to the hotel and could never find more value for money based on my needs and requirements. Location, Comfort, Staff Friendliness, Spacious and Clean rooms and good facilities always brings me back to this hotel.

The hotel was great, the staff were friendly.. Only that the location of the hotel not that good. U have to walk about 10 or 12 mins to the asoke bts. But they have a shuttle to the main road.

Great place for family ”

The hotel is great stay for me who travel with my 3 years old daughter and wife. The room and bath room is big space for family. The room come with washing machine and dryer, so we no need to bring so much of shirt. There is 24 hour convenience store at hotel and many others store near to hotel, so y can grab food, snack and drink any time. My daughter like to hotel tuk-tuk shuttle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only area improvement is tuk-tuk shuttle only drop u at 7-11 about 200 meters away from BTS station, to avoid heavy traffic. But it’s ok , just short distance walk. Just need to prepare rain coat in case need to walk on raining day. Overall it’s great place to stay for family or those who travel with few friends, can consider 2 rooms apartment.
