Fantastic Quality Accommodation”

Fantastic accommodation with friendly and polite staff, delicious breakfast and super near to Pleasure Lake. Mt. Fuji is there as a great background for taking photos. Bus stop to catch bus for exploring the area is right in front of the hotel. There are also many restaurants and supermarket/convenience stores nearby.

A hidden gem!”

We arrived at Kawaguchiko station after 5pm and called the hotel to pick us up. Within 5 minutes a member of staff from the hotel came to the station with a shuttle bus and brought us directly to the hotel. The hotel is situated at a perfect location where rooms on one side of the hotel face Lake Kawaguchi and rooms on the other side face Mt Fuji. The stop right outside the hotel (turn left after exiting the main entrance) is a transit stop (Stop 5) of Red/Green Line. Breakfast is on the top floor of the hotel where you can enjoy the view of Mt Fuji during your breakfast! Hotspring is a bit small but you can definitely have it all by yourself if you go there after 10pm to relieve any stress from daytime! The Herb Hall nextdoor cant be missed! A huge supermarket called OGINO is only 10-15 min walk away and we had dinner there. All the staff during the stay was nice, polite and well-mannered. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering having a stay in Kawaguchiko!

Great place among overpriced options”

This is a great old-style hotel with large rooms and friendly staff. If you're after 5-star pampering, this is not your place. But, for a large room at a great place and a friendly staff, this can't be beaten.

Oh! it's a very nice place, i love it!. We're enjoying our stay in this hotel. ”

It's a very nice and beautiful place. I highly recommend this place. But one thing i notice is the exhaust fan in the toilet of room 311 is not working maybe need to fix it. All in all i am so much happy when i stay and visit a different place. A fun filled memory that i will treasure. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Agoda and to Shiki No Yado Hotel.

Very good value and great location”

The room was a very good size and offers more than enough space to accommodate 2 people. The hotel may feel a little out dated but we didn't mind. It kind of has an older Japanese home style to it. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The answered every questions we had and were helpful in giving recommendations. The hotel is right in front of Kawaguchiko Lake and our room at a great view of Mt. Fuji. It's also within walking distance to some hotels and local stores. Highly recommend if you're in a budget and want a good value.

An excellent hotel”

Location of this hotel is just opposite Lake Kawaguchiko and my room has a great view of My Fuji! Right in front of the hotel is the Red-line bus which takes you to all the popular and nice places around Lake Kawaguchiko. Eating is not a problem with plenty of restaurants nearby. 15 minutes by bus and you will reach the Kawaguchiko Station where you can take an express bus up to Mt Fuji's 5th Station. Overall we had a very nice and pleasant stay at Shiki No Yado Hotel!

Awesome View”

I was happy when they upgraded my room. We were waiting for hotel shuttle to pick us up and at our relieved the bus came, as we did not make prior booking. But there are buses in front of the hotel. The lake view from the hotel is stunning. And the Mount Fuji view behind the hotel is jaw dropping. Overall simple and affordable hotel.
