Find hotels near Sichon in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand

The Sichon Cabana is located in a local beach in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The beach is very far from the city, and has only some small hotels. No shops or local market is around there. Without a car, you cannot go anywhere for shopping. However, if your purpose is to relax in a beach, it is the best place. The foods in the restaurant of the Sichon Cabana were very tasty and very cheap. You can enjoy seafood and Thai foods. However, they sometimes served very slowly when they had too many customers. The room was very good, specious and clean. However, I was not able to use the Internet in my room often. I was able to use the Internet in the public area such as a restaurant though it was often slow. But it might be the problem in the local beach, not in the hotel. Their problem is that their staff cannot speak English at all except for the manager. Therefore, it was very difficult for me to explain when I needed some special requests. If their price were cheaper, I would visit them again.

We had a pool side suite which has an ocean view. The building was only one year old, so it was in excellent condition. Pool had three parts: 50 cm, 90 cm and 130 cm deep, which was good as we were travelling with two small children. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Beach was quiet and hotel staff cleaned it every day. Hotel restaurant had good food and there are several local restaurants by the beach. As we were at our balcony in the evening, we saw blue light coming from the waves. It was bioluminescence from "Sea Sparkle", AMAZING!

This place is wonderful, The colourful bungalows are right on the beach. They are super clean and beautifully fitted out. If you want peace and total relaxation you will find it here. It is some way to the nearest restaurant so transport is a must. This is real Thailand. Go and watch the fishermen bringing in their boats in the morning just down the beach. We cant wait to go back here.

Although close to a main road, which makes it easy to reach local attractions, the resort is quiet and peaceful. The gardens can only be described as spectacular, and add to the sense of peace and relaxation. With ceiling to floor windows which slide open, the rooms are spacious and airy. Many of the best beaches in the region are only a short drive away, and the towns/airports of Nakhon Si Thammarat and Surat Thani can be reached easily. The restaurant can conjure a wide variety of Thai or Western meals, and breakfasts are large and enjoyable. The free wifi, which works throughout the hotel, is fast and reliable. Stay once, and, like me, you'll return many times.

We had a relaxing time and it was nice being right on the beach. The food was typical Thai cuisine but not spectacular. I would rate the staff as excellent and very accommodating. If anything was negative, I would say the frame of the gate onto the beach is too low as I hit my head and my friends daughter hit her head also; so remember to lower your head as you enter. The rooms were a bit small but acceptable and very clean. The sound of the waves was relaxing. Overall, a great little, out of the way place to spend a day or two at the beach. No stress... We noted it would be nice to have a telephone number of the hotel on Agoda, because we could not find the hotel and wanted to call but could not find a number on the Internet to call. Thanks again for a nice place to stay.
