Everyone of the staff was very helpful, courteous and truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Their hands are tied though, because of the state of the Sierra resort facilities. Swimming pools are dirty; access road to resort is rough, unpaved and narrow; need air movers in the lobby/restaurant area to circulate the air; restaurant have dishes on the menu that are routinely not available. In spite of all that, we really appreciate the staff’s efforts to overcome some of the deficiencies of the facility. They deserve better facilities to match their efforts and desire to please their guests.

Nice place to stay and relax with family”
The place is good for relaxation as it is peaceful and quiet. Rooms are clean but the one we stayed was quite old because of antique theme, but they have newer rooms. Staff are courteous and friendly. Food is good and not that pricey, but you should order ahead of time like an hour before you wish to eat as they take time to cook the food. There are 2 pools, and there is a kiddie pool which is big, children will enjoy. The beach front was great, it is clean, and the beach is great for swimming. At first we have doubts to book in this resort bcos of negative feedbacks but in our case, our stay was good. They also have a billiard table.

Very flexible staff”
I booked the wrong date online and it was non-refundable nor changeable , when I called the resort, they were so kind to allow us to check-in to the date that we desired. Thank God for that. We arrived in the afternoon, the pool was nice but since it was surrounded with trees, there were a lot of leaves in the pool. We saw lots of dirt as well on the underwater floor. But they were able to clean it early morning the next day. Too bad they turn off the WiFi after 10 pm. The guard said it was their policy, which I think can be unfair for the guests. It a little bit pricey but worth it. Remember to wear sunblock, their pool is abounded with chlorine which really got us dark. :) Their staff were so kind and accommodating. we'll definitely come back.

We love the style, look and comfort of this hotel, especially the upper lounge area and our room. We found it noisy being located above the kitchen at the back of the hotel which was a shame. The wooden floors are lovely but really noisy early in the morning if you had heavy footed neighbours (hopefully just our experience). The pool area was lovely. The dinning area was messy and uninviting, sometimes unclean. To be fair it was dominated by several large groups which might not be normal but despite this the addition of some more clean tables with comfortable chairs would be of great value, perhaps out of full sun or away from such large groups for those who prefer a quiet meal. The food was the standard selection you would expect and although pricey it was tasty and well presented. The internet was painfully slow. I did like this place but was happy to leave but did so poorly rested and feeling like I had not got the best value for money. It was ok, just not great for the price.

Kitchen Needs to do better!”
This resort is nice. On the beach. The staff as usual are happy and friendly really can't be faulted! There seems to be a complete lack of management and staff just mill around without direction and leadership. The kitchen is a disaster! You need to go shopping for what you need because they never have food in stock! Go along the beach to Atlantis for food! Apart from that had a great stay!

Food took over an hour to be served, even though we have an hour allowance because we knew service was way too slow... it was very hard for us because we were with a lot of children. Also, the staff didn't know much of what service the hotel was offering. They couldn't help us plan our vacation... I don't know if the staff was new but they didn't have answers to a lot of your questions. It was frustrating.

power shutdown at midnight-no air conditional, etc at all before the recovery by resort personnel, toilet stuck for twice but the house keeping personnel are quite helpful to solve it.

Good location. My only complaint is that service in the restaurant is very slow. I pre-ordered my breakfast but when it was served, it was incorrect. Sunny side up instead of scrambled eggs and plain instead of garlic rice. It took them 20 minutes to fix my order. =(

however the night we wanted to eat in the restaurant and remember there isnt exactly a large plaza near where you can go to eat there was no pizza no chicken no fish and limited pork, there was also no desserts.( we were first sitting at 6 pm on a friday) so i would recommend to stay there but to eat go to the beach turn left and about 150 metres down the beach there is a fantastic restaurant at the atlantis hotel. also there is no water or drinks in your room so bring your own

The Struggle is Real”
I was very disappointed with this hotel, especially because I stayed for several days. There is no system in place when ordering food. The place was understaffed and even when we would pre-order our meals the day before and give the time when we needed them, they would take over an hour (for bacon and eggs!). Linens and beddings are all very old and flimsy. Our room had bugs, spiders and bees enter at night. We were also being charged each time we would ask for a bucket of ice or an extra towel. Those should be complimentary already. (Especially ice!!) Conclusion: The staff needs to be trained and management must have an organized system in place. They should seriously consider replacing the mattresses, pillows etc too.

Worst Hotel ever”
food was bland, no hot water, no available food, beverages, rice, shuttle to the city is too expensive, the place is a ghost hotel, on out first night only 2 rooms was occupied. thank God the neighboring resort, Atlantis saved the day with good food, better service and more people. We would just go there from the beach to have lunch, snacks and dinner. IF I WERE YOU FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY... THE PLACE IS CREEPY!

Very run down poor facilities good friendly staff”
The staff were good i dont know who owns this place but do some maintenance. 1/4of menu available ordered coffee no milk i think thats basic. No hot water then no water toilet broke. I would rate it 1 star for price a total rip off. If it was 600 peso a night acceptable but 3400 peso cold water only. Would never return only saving grace staff were nice. I would not recomend this place to a enemy.

Too many bugs”
My room is full of bugs that I even asked staff to catch it for me. The one I booked from Agoda is different from the room they assigned to us, it was an older looking room. Location is quite far from the main road, food takes forever to serve (note that they use one sauce for different meals they served us from lunch to dinner) and there's nothing much to do here. Pros: friendly staff and large pool

Worse service I have ever had anywhere”
It's a shame because the place itself is very nice however they have no idea n service we got there at lunch time checked in then ordered lunch we were the only 2 there and it took one hour to get our food they gave us cutlery but no napkins or condiments we ordered drinks they gave us in cans but no glass ice or straw Dinner was same but took 2 hours to get our meal because they had a group function and served them first made us wait they do not provide water you have to buy it breakfast they had no bread and my American breakfast was one egg and couple pieces of bacon. We ended up eating our last couple meals at Atlantis next door the food and service was amazing when I checked out they didn't ask me if I needed a taxi or thanked me for my stay They need to really change there attitude if they want people to come back or recommend them next trip I'll stay at Atlantis
