Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was quite big. The staff were nice and friendly u can ask anything to them. Location is good except its besides the highway. Hotel is near to Berjaya Times Square, Alor Street and Changkat. Thumbs up for this hotel!
The room is worst.. I tell to reception electric switch not working..”
. I tell to reception electric switch not working.... the receptionist is so rude and he asking me to call from where you book a room I don’t care .. Even they don’t know how to talk with a customers... very bad experience
It s close to Pavilion, which is downtown. Many bars, restaurants, shops.... anything you need is around the hotel. Close to the subway and monorail station, like 10 min. walking distance. My room was minuscule, but I didn't spend much time in it. In sum, it is worth.
Hotel location is very convenient as it is near to the IMBI LRT Station. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The cons of it is that the hotel room is a bit run down and they need to step up on their cleanliness. The hotel is convenient and comfortable enough to rest in especially when you are not planning to just be cooped up in your room all day.
Value for money”
this hotel is very comfortable and clean..the receptionists are also very friendly..they also provide free short tour around KL to visit some of the local shops and factories..the only thing that didn’t meet my satisfactory is the sockets in the room are not working and if there is a working socket,it will burn your charger like mine..
Very basic, good location, good reception staff ”
Pros Linda the reception lady was fantastic and friendly and very helpful to assist in smooth checking in for our group Very good location Big toilet My single room comes with enough hanging places, a desk and a bed. Practical basics are there. I really love that they provide good quality big and thick towel and a step mat. Good shower and flush system. Cons The maintenance of the place needs work, one of my friends found a roach on her pillow and she said her air con was leaking. Something was leaking all night in my toilet and my blanket was stained and my walls are stained with some strange liquids. So i think they need to really go through all the rooms and fix all the problems. Even if its cheap, they got a nice reception, should match with well maintained rooms. That's my constructive feedback.
I stay here for 4 days, the hotel was awesome. I stayed at many hotel but this is 1st time I meet the most awesome reception Miss Linda that very Friendly and kind, when I go out or come in she will greet me with smile and it make my days. She also guide me how to go a place that I want to go but don't know how to get there, She guide me from A to Z and I could understand it easily. I will give 5 star to Miss Linda. On lobby I feel comfortable to make my work or discussing some work thing with my friend. The lobby was great. Recommended for everyone, especially business traveler like me. For the room I feel a little bit uncomfortable, I was expecting that my room will have Hair Dryer so when I rush to a meeting I could use Hair Dryer to dry my hair faster. Plus, the Television in my room doesn't function at all, when I open it the screen just blank even I tried to change other channel and the result still the same. The bed was great for me, I had a good sleep and it's comfortable.
housekeeping didn't come to change our bedsheet eventhough we requested specifically..but i love coming here because of the receptionist..the indian lady.. she's so friendly and accommodating..to improve, there are rooms without the listed facilities such as no hot water,no plug and no hair dryer..however,for the price, it's a good bargain
Budget Hotel ”
This is a Budget Hotel. Ok for short periods. (It's in need of a upgrade.) I would say It's not been decorated for a number of years. The Hotel is in a good area. Lively in the evening. Near the station.
Value for money for Solo travellers”
The solo room was great for single travellers. Only one plug is provided for solo traveller room. Please bring along your own multi-socket plug if needed. Walking distance to Bukit Bintang area and Berjaya Times Square.
Worst Hotel ”
Me and my boyfriend have been traveling South East Asia for the last few months and this accomodation has been by far the worst! when we checked in there was vomit on the wall in our room, there was mold on the walls, the wallpaper was peeling, and there was an unpleasant smell, you literally couldn’t make this stuff up! we requested a room change. The next room seemed decent enough compared to our last, until it started raining outside so water was leaking on to our bed through the roof! Overall terrible experience photos look nothing like the actual rooms. However Staff were polite and helpful and organised for us to stay at another hotel branch at another location. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Worst Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.”
At room 3202 tv doesn't have any channel. The staff couldnt make any effort to knock at my door and offer to clean the room. The room remained uncleaned till i checked out. The Day shift reception staff was alright but the night shift reception staff were just lazy to greet and smile at guest. Sorry I will not return back to this Simms Boutique Hotel
DIRTIEST HOTEL DONT STAY HERE”
The room was dirty, blanket was all stained and smells like someone urines on it. I booked for a two nights stay, I didnt notice on my first night cause I didnt use the blanket but on my second night I noticed something smells like a urine. I thought It was on my Comfort Room but I managed to find where the smell comes from & suprisingly its on the blanket. I asked the receptionist to change but he said there is no available blanket & housekeeping can bring that to me around 8 in the morning but Ill be leaving the hotel around 11. I even asked If I could just transfer but he said there is no available room at the moment. No resolution happened I was very dissapointed that I didnt had a good sleep because I have no blanket to use. Everything was a mess, waste of money & time. Dont go here unless you will be sleeping along with smelly urine blankets with you.
For the very cheap price I paid for 3 nights, I, of course, managed my expectations. You'll be getting the very basic things in an accommodation: a decent bed, hot shower, cool aircon and a relatively fast wifi. The double room with no window I got was really small, but I didn't mind at all since I was travelling solo and I was just carrying a medium-sized backpack. Travellers with huge luggages may have a problem with space. They provided 2 towels for my room type, no free bottled water, no free coffee, no fridge and no water boiler. Toothbrush, slippers, shower cap and some other neccessities common in 4- or 5- star hotels are all for requests. They do have a body wash and shampoo dispenser in the toilet, but I didn't try using it because I always carry my own toiletries. I saw an iron and ironing board in one of the hallways for common use. The hotel is a short walk from Imbi monorail station, Jalan Alor food street and everything that the Bukit Bunting area has to offer. The hotel will be asking for MYR 10 per night for tourist fee and a MYR 50 refundable deposit. Overall, a good place to stay if you're plan is to be out the whole day exploring the city.
Good location near many tourist locations”
Great staff, had an issue with my room but they changed me rooms without any hassles. Very friendly and accommodating. Location is a big plus as they are located just outside the Bukit Bintang on Jalan Pudu. 1 block from Jalan Alor (street food street) and less than a km from the KLCC attractions.
Used to stay here Often”
Before Change to Simms Boutique hote, is was named Cube Boutique hotel. service, facilities, cleaniness was at least 4 star. Once changed to Simms Boutique, same goes to my review, from good to bad. I miss the good old Cube Boutique Hotel. But i would give 4 star for the staff coz they always try to help out whenever i need. i still recommend this to ppl due to the location and much cheaper in comparison to other nearby
Pros -convineant to monorail jalan imbi and others place -value for money Cons -big toilet but small space to walk in the room - Please change the bed. The mattress/totto always moving down to the floor. -the table in the room is not a table. It's a table size on the flight to eat!
worth money and very recommended ”
Pros: The room was very spacious for solo traveler. Bathroom was clean as well. There also a study table inside the room. air-cond was functioning well. Cons: There is no light in front of the big mirror. So its very difficult to do makeup things. So staff should change the bulb in that room (2022). By the way, the plug located near the study desk not the bed. And if they can provide a water heater and cup should be okay. Location very strategic. near to kkmart, 99speed and just walking distance to times square and IMBI station.
A little disappointed”
I was happy with the front desk staffs... They are helpful which i think great... What disappoint me is that they dont clean my room for the next day... I was out the whole day and when i go back to my room, they dont clean my room or change my towels... I hope this can be fix
very very bad hygiene ”
Very bad smell! The toilet has moss everywhere and the tiles of the toilet floor is very very dirty. No one should ever have to pay to stay at that kind of room. Asked for another room because we booked for 2 nights but was declined so we end up checking out without staying. We rather find another decent hotel than to sleep at that room. Think twice before booking for this hotel.
