best place on Saturday nite”

Best choice of hotel if u are in Satun by Saturday nite as the night Market is just at the hotel door steps. Ample free parking for those drive in here at the back of hotel. A bit old building but the room is very spacious and big king size bed, one of the staff Abdul kader was very helpful as we suddenly stucked in satun as my wife suddenly in labor while we just arrived for holiday to pak bara... Overall the price is fair

Short stay, on way to Malasia”

Hotel in city centre with nice big spacious rooms, there was a bath as well as shower. When I stayed there was the market outside front of hotel and the only Farang bar in Satun was opposite

Excellent”

overall this hotel is rather good compared to the hotels and guesthouses i have stayed in. my room was clean and tidy, the cleaner knows his stuff,and the room was larger than normal. the reception staff were friendly and helpful and there are enough convenience stores and travel/tour agencies to satisfy plus the nightly local food market is a great place to go for cheap and tasty food. i have been travelling for five months now and hope to turn it into years but this hotel even though its in a transit point between heading to malaysia or the islands further north is in my top three so far. cheers!

Great experience”

The staff was so kind and suggested us to stay at 6th floor with beautiful mount view (can see sunset from this room). Just in front of the hotel there are happening night market (start from 4 - 9pm saturday). So many halal food in walking distance (abang nara, dong mai, chinese muslim, fareeda). Great seafood at tanyongpo (20km from the hotel)

Central location, Clean and comfortable ”

This is in such a convenient location! The weekend market is outside the hotel, but it's not noisy from inside the hotel. It's a lovely clean, comfortable hotel. The cleaning staff were very attentive. Fresh towels each day , extra soap, enough toilet roll, bottled water in the fridge all topped up each day even if we hadn't finished the previous supply. Internet came and went and each time it reconnected I needed to sign in again. The restaurant looked really nice although I didn't eat there.

Great Location”

Saturday night market outside! Not noisy. Maid service, bed making, fresh towels, bottled water etc daily. Hotel was a bit worn but clean and convenient. Easy parking around the back of the hotel. Didn't try the hotel cafe as there was plenty of eateries within walking distance. We were dreading the noise as we were given the first room as you exit the lift on the 5th floor but we didn't have even a single disturbance. Staff were very helpful when we needed them, nothing was a bother for them. Very spacious room even with two single beds. Great hot shower. Toiletries provided if you need them. There was no kettle in the room when we arrived but upon request, one was provided immediately.

Parking might be a problem for those who are staying in this hotel during peak season as the hotel have parking near the road site. I requested high room floor facing the mountain - lovely view. The Hotel is an old hotel built in 1995. The interior of the room looked tired. Our room was okay, the hot shower working fine but the cold water tap doesn't work (loosed) for shower. Luckily the we can bear the heat of the hot water. The air-condition also takes time to cool the room. Halal foods is nearby 2-5 min drive from the Hotel. Very convenient . No Electric kettle. You may have to request for Hot water. The rest is okay.

Satisfactory hotel with a good location”

Although this hotel is a little tired and would benefit from some renovation work it provided a reasonable home for us for 4 nights. Missed having a kettle in the room.

Very clean, spacious, and comfortable! I have to give a shout out to the guy working the reception during the day - he was incredible and so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely quiet place”

Good view, good AC, comfy bed. Quiet place with a big parking lot. The wifi wasn't really good otherwise everything was perfect.

Old hotel”

The hotel is past its prime time. A bit old. Most equipments are a bit rundown. Strategic location for western tourist.

Basic boonies hotel experience”

Awoke (multiple times) with a painful neck due to pillows being too large. Window wouldn't close because broken latch. Couldn't control A/C due to broken remote. Shower pressure very low, warm dribble only. Unsurprisingly, internet didn't work. Reception was missing upon checkout...
