Forever superb standard”
Friendly and attentive receptionists. Clean and well-furnished room with free drinks from mini bar. Most economical and value for money stay in whole Phuket. Another most worthy reason to stay there is to go for the Raintree Spa. Best massage experienced in my lifetime - favourite is relaxing massage. Will get 50% off any massage in the menu as a hotel guest. Pricing is definitely reasonable and worthy. Cost only 800baht for the relaxing massage with hot herbal compress - definitely release all body aches & tensions. Always my first hotel to stay in whenever i'm in Phuket - my 3rd visits to Phuket. Breakfast buffet in the top floor with some mountain view - reasonable spread to satisfy ur tummy. In summary, sino house is really cozy and value for money. My favourite choice so far. Since it is in town, there will be busy packed roads and buildings. Not any seaview. Might be quite challenging to find the hotel for first visit. Can take public bus from airport which is really cheap but must catch the right timing. Else long wait. If driving, use gps for Phuket - phang-nga road - montree and not the agoda provided montri. Then walk into the lane of montree.

Sino House - a very pleasant surprise”
Took some time to find Sino House Hotel because the shuttle bus from the airport dropped us off quite far from the hotel. Sino House turned out to be a very pleasant hotel: the reception staff were very welcoming, the rooms were large and modern with free wi-fi and everything was neat & clean in this small hotel. The hotel is opposite a big book shop close to the main post office and a number of shops were just round the corner. Very pleasant hotel in Phuket Town!

Decent hotel with superb service!”
My boyfriend and I decided to put up at Sino House Hotel for our recent trip to Phuket due to the mostly positive reviews after much research online. We arrived at the hotel on the first day and were immediately greeted with friendly smiles from the hotel staff at the front desk. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in providing us with the information on the places for shopping and food and were also very patient with our enquiries. The hotel room was fairly spacious and cosy looking. The room was overall generally clean, however we did notice that the bedsheet and the pillow cases were slightly stained with one or two tiny black spot(s). We were pleasantly surprised when we were informed that the room also came with free daily-refill minibar with soda beverages like Pepsi and Sprite. The only unsatisfactory part of our accommodation was the breakfast buffet served. The breakfast choices were very limited and some of the food were either cold or tasteless. As for location wise, the location of the hotel is conveniently close to many foodcarts by the roadside. However, you may have to flag for taxi-bikes(known as "tutu" in thai) to travel to the town area for shopping and restaurants as it may be relatively far. All in all, we have truly enjoyed our 2-day stay in Sino House Hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking for a decent hotel to put up in Phuket!

Fantastic Value with AMAZING spa”
I stayed in the Sino House Hotel while visiting Phuket Town for the Vegetarian Festival (Oct, 2008). It was the perfect location for my needs (although if you are interested in a beach vacation you may want to stay somewhere closer to the beaches). The lobby and spa are lovely, just like in the photos. The spa felt more like a Westerner's idea of a "spa" than most of the typical "massage parlors" (at comparable rates) found throughout Thailand. In other words, if you stay here, GO TO THE SPA! It is wonderful, and extremely cheap (due to already low rates plus the 50% hotel discount). The room is large, contains a kitchenette (refrigerator, sink, dishes, kettle) and FREE minibar. This is a fabulous value for those who seek some luxuries (spa, AC, hot water, western toilet, breakfast, etc) but aren't divas. If you're looking for the Ritz, this isn't it. But it is clean, affordable and offers some key amenities. Did I mention the SPA?! My only con (and yes, it is picky) is that my room didn't feature the cool flower mural shown in the photos. My friend's room did have the mural though, so I'm sure you could request it if it means that much to you. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a step or two above budget digs! FYI: Some cabbies had trouble finding the place. Maybe it is in the pronunciation? Try pronouncing it "See-no" and telling them it is on "Mon-tree" road just up the hill from the post office. That should work!

Sino House Hotel, Phuket - a great place to stay!”
We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Sino House. We'd read in a couple of places that it was a nice hotel, but I think it would be safe to say that it exceeded our expectations. It's a very nice hotel, in a good location, with very nice staff and really big, clean rooms! I needed to borrow a mobile phone charged and in the previous 2 hotels that we had stayed in Phuket the reception were unable to provide. When I asked at the Sino House, it was immediately provided at no charge and with a smile! My wife used their spa and raved about the face treatment that she received - again great, friendly staff. This place is great value for money!

Good Gateway to Koh Phi Phi”
First we were trying to book Royal City Phuket Hotel. Having read some reviews about cockroaches in the Royal City Phuket Hotel, we found Sino House. It turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The next door massage spa was a good way to relax after a long flight. We were given a room with the design of carps and liked it. Next day, we headed off to Koh Phi Phi by ferry. The staff was helpful with our arrangement of the ferry. From the hotel to the port is about 5 minutes.

Awesome place to stay!”
I stayed at Sino House for four nights while visiting a clinic. It meet and exceeded my expectations. The room was large and comfortable, and contemporary, also had a small balcony. Sino House location is excellent with in walking distance of good shopping, Old Town, and other important locations. Renting a motorbike will be very helpful where ever you stay in Phuket and especially in Phuket City/Town.

Great place to stay with rooftop breakfast”
We only stayed at Sino House Hotel for one night as a stopover from the airport to Phi Phi but really wanted to stay longer. The room was great and the breakfast on the roof was a wonderful way to start our morning. The hotel was in walking distance to a main area in Phuket so it was nice to be able to go for a walk to dinner and when we came back there was the most romantic little restaurant out front of the hotel that we sat and had a few cocktails before a wonderful night sleep! Definitely book here for your stopovers and more!

Nice place, good value for money”
We had a nice 2 night stay at Sino house. It was our first stop in Thailand after a long journey from Europe. We pre-organised an airport pickup with the hotel, which was great, i'd recommend it. Hotel is nicely maintained inside, staff were very polite and helpful. Included breakfasts were good, nothing incredible but good selection. We're vegetarians and there was also a nice amount of food for us there. Room was clean and well furnished. Although looks a bit better in the pictures, but we were still really happy with it. We would stay there again if we were in Phuket.

Neutral location, huge rooms”
We got married in Phuket and decided that all of our families would stay at this hotel. Upon deciding this, we checked with the hotel how many rooms were on each floor as we wanted to book out 1 floor for each side of the family. We were advised that 6 deluxe rooms and 4 suites made up one whole floor, so both sides of the families booked 10 rooms made up of 6 deluxe and 4 suites expecting to be given two separate floors, however upon reaching the hotel, I was advised that our rooms were scattered all over the room. We were staying for upto 7 days, and I spent about 2 hours each day discussing with the hotel what room the new guest arriving was assigned to. The girls were very sweet, however have clearly not been trained to resolve any issues, and are completely lacking the language skills to be able to manage guest issues (I only speak from my personal experience). I think this hotel is great for people who know where they want to travel around Phuket and how etc, but I would not recommend it to large groups unless you receive confirmation for EVERYTHING before hand. I was quite disappointed with the whole mess that was created, no doubt due to language barriers and miscommunication from and to both sides, however a hotel should that takes on such large bookings should be capable of dealing with all issues relating to those bookings. I repeat, this is only my personal opinion! The hotel itself was gorgeous, spacious, VERY clean, the staff minus the language barrier were very sweet and were very helpful for as much as they were able to control:) **There were also not enough adapters and the iron was unavailable as it was in repair for the whole 7 days that we were there.

Swank yet affordable”
We loved our stay at Sino. Because it was the low season (July 2010) we got a steep discount. We've been staying at budget guest houses and hotels along the way in Thailand, and this room by far was the most luxurious. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a Chinese style. They're very spacious with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, large bathroom with a real shower (not a wetroom so common in Thailand), everything in the mini-bar area was free, breakfast included with a 5th floor terrace view (good selection but so-so quality), television with some English-language channels, and a superb staff with gracious an very helpful service. We only stayed one night and didn't want to leave. It was a piece of luxury that was very unexpected. Also, the nice public bus to the airport picked us up right across the street in front of the bookstore. 85 baht, exactly one hour. The front desk was so helpful, and had a schedule of bus times and knew exactly where to stand to wait for the bus. That saved us a lot of money and hassle, as taxis in Phuket can be outrageously expensive by Thai standards. I could go on and on, but you definitely want to stay here if you want a relaxing and luxurious experience without paying much for it. I would return there tomorrow.

Lovely hotel for short stay”
We stayed at The Sino House for one night before travelling on to Koh Phi Phi. It was a really lovely place. The rooms were huge and had fantastic showers, all of the staff were very welcoming and breakfast on the roof was tasty and atmospheric. Not a huge amount to do in Phuket town but the hotel was in a good location to wander out and explore a bit.

Very good hotel”
There are not many reasons to pass through Puket Town but waiting a connection to beaches or business. By the way if you have a reason to do it, stop at this hotel, is absolutely at highre level than its price. You will receive four stars service at low money charging. Rooms are spacious, well designed, clean and provided of any tools. Water and coffee/tea set are complimentary. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms have a/c and big windows. Breakfast buffet was good. I have travelled many places in Thai, and Sino House is one of the best, at small cost. I'm very satisfied.

Phuket Town has little ambiance.”
I didn't like Phuket Town. Sino House was like an oasis in a boring concrete non-discript city. I could hide-away in a quiet comfortable room. If you have to be in Phuket Town I would highly recommend Sino House. The second night I went to the Siam Nimarta show. The Hotel staff arranged everything and it was one of the best things I even have done in Thailand. The front desk made all the difference. There was no restaurant, bar or pool - no extras, though breakfast was included, and it was good.

Good location for Phuket old town sight seeing”
This hotel is nicely designed in Sino-pro style which goes along very well with Phuket old town atmosphere. The location is great just at the begining of the walking trail to old town sight seeing. Rooms are very comfortable, beds are in good condition. Staff are friendly and helpful (one of them has a very good knowledge of dining place). All of these comes in a very resonable rate. One of the best choice in Phuket town.

Well presented hotel”
The hotel is very clean and tidy. It is a unique hotel having historic decoration within the reception area whereas the room is of the good side with modern facilities. The staff seems quite friendly. Breakfast is a good quailty and is served in the unique glass house restaurant. The location of the hotel is very close to Phuket town where you can visit the hotel town aprroximately 10 mins walk. It is also very near the shopping centre. The area has an abundence of cafe and restaurants.

clean,good price and friendly service”
We found the place to be clean and neat. We stayed one night as we were heading to Phi Phi Island. Sino house is about 15 mins drive to Rassada Pier. The hotel can organise airport transfer and phi phi island cruise so that made it very easy. There's not alot to do in Phuket Town so we were glad to go next door and treat ourself to a spa package. Best of all you get 50% off as a Sino House guest. The breaksfast was very mediocre but all in all, I'll stay there again if I ever go back to Phi Phi island.

MY STAY AT THE SINO HOUSE HOTEL”
Overall my stay at the Sino House Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff, I thought were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was should include more of the wonderful fruits grown in Thailand. The food should be identified and food ingredients listed. The TV remote control batteries were dead. I suggest someone check that beforehand. Providing your guest a discount at the Raintree Spa is a great way to promote their wonderful services. I will definitely stay at the Sino House again and recommend it to friends.

Good hotel, good location ”
good central location, huge room. from our room on 4th floor we even had a city view. very good breakfast - mix of asian and european dishes. Did not dine there, but there are few small Thai restaurants on the same side of the street or snack stalls across the road. We liked Sino House for comfort, convenience, good staff and would stay there again if ever back to Phuket
