Clean, comfy and value for money”

This hotel is located within an old shopping mall. Although it is old, it has a LFS Cineplex on the same level with the hotel and easy to find parking lot. Unfortunately parking space is limited during weekends as you have share with mall customers. The location is just opposite Selayang Hospital ideal for people who are in town to visit patient in the hospital. Very near to cafes and Chinese hawker centres (a lot of Chinese hawker centres). The hotel room is well design, reasonable sized, with LCD TV, clean, comfortable beds, free wifi and carpeted floor. A real value for money.

A simple cozy spacious room.”

We've been to Sky Hotel last 2 years,it was a comfortable stay. So this year, we expect the same too. So, we arrived late at 12.30 am, the check-in was smooth, the room was ready and we're very tired at that time. But the downfall was the hot water system down for the night so we had cold bath. Complained about it in the morning, resolved but even there were hot water, the temperature was uneven, hard for me to bath my 2.5 year old son. FYI, we stayed 2 nights, the room was cleaned thoroughly for our 2nd day.Overall it was an 'okay' stay for us, not much to compliment but less to complain. Will stay there if we go to Selayang again.

great hotel with reasonable price ”

a bit horror when i go through the parking, as it stated at the 3rd floor of an old building/complex named selayang capitol (which is not recognized in my gps). but, when we are entering the hotel especially the room, very satisfy with the room condition: clean, large bed, nice arrangement, free wifi and astro channels.

Clean and neat hotel with reasonable price”

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Location was quite far from KL city center (around 25 mins by car), and it was not located at the best spot. It is located inside Selayang Capitol Complex, which is an old shopping center and honestly speaking, it kinda looks like a run-down area. But not too bad. Because apparently there's a movie theater there, which is literally a few steps away from the hotel. There's a food court across the complex and also a few small cafes and convenience stores. If you're looking for a short getaway from the hustle bustle of the city, you can put this hotel into consideration. It was kinda quiet and relax as there was nothing much you can do.

the hotel location is very convenience especially when anyone trying to look for something to eat at anytime. this is because the hotel is located very near of many restaurant,food court, mamak stall and etc. not only that, this hotel is also located inside the shopping mall called capital mall which make the guess easily to go shopping at any time they want. nearby of the hotel also another shopping mall, selayang mall, which also a good spot for anyone to shop and eat.

Conveniently located, value for money”

What's good: It's located in a shopping mall at 3rd storey. There's KFC at basement, and a cinema at 4th storey. The check-in was speedy; staff's competent and friendly. The room is compact but all necessities' there: Aircon, clean running water, cable TV, comfortable bed and electric jug. And most importantly, internet's free! For meals, we drove around the block and found many restaurants,especially at Selayang Mall just 10 mins drive away. There were also roadside stalls selling yummy nasi lemak+additional accompaniments for under RM5. What needs improvement: Some clothes hangers in the room would be great. Other info: The mall in which the hotel's situated is currently undergoing major renovation. So many shops were closed, and it was quite deserted. The hotel does not provide food and beverages.

Hotel staff try hard to please”

Imagine a rather old shopping mall buried deep in a gritty KL suburb, on the third floor of which is a clean hotel that tries very hard to rise above its humble surroundings. Our one big complaint about our huge room was that it had no window - this is fairly common in KL but changes what would have been a very pleasant room into somewhere that feels more like a jail cell. The room had the usual amenities - cold aircon, wifi, crisp white sheets, kettle and fridge. Bathroom clean and functional with good shower. The staff went out of their way to help, nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a movie theater across the hall which is useful because there's not a lot else to do around here. Batu Caves are a short taxi ride away but it's not always easy to find a taxi in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, we crossed the footbridge to the hospital where we had more luck finding one. The Forest Research Institute of Malaysia is well worth a visit, and is walkable from the hotel in about 25 minutes (turn left), or take a taxi. Overall I highly doubt we would have reason to return here, but if we did then the Sky Hotel would be a good choice.

I rent few rooms for my relatives and friends. All of them say that the room is very comfortable, the staff are very friendly as well.. Besides, it is also easy acceess to carpark. I will definitely recommend Sky Hotel @ Selayang to my friends next time!!

We had a one-night stay at the hotel. The location is a walking distance to rows of shophouses & Selayang Hospital. It is definitely a good stay for us & it's value for money.

skyhotel is located in a very convenient area, that is, accessible to the market, drugstore, a food court and most importantly, the venue of our conference which is hospital selayang. it is very clean and it has very hospitable staff. taxis are on-call but should be booked early.

Friendly service”

Nice and clean room, with large bed. Nearby to Selayang mall, many restaurant and FRIM especially as we have a course there, just take about 10 minutes to arrive if not during peak hour. Friendly staff as they always greet us each time we are out. The staff also allow me to keep my things in the freezer without any surcharge. Thank you soo much!!

clean room, king size bed, a large flat screen tv on d wall, efficient staff at reception. place to eat are within walking distance for chinese and western food. this is somewhat a place to get away from hustle and bustle of the city, got a cinema within the same complex, food around are relatively cheap and lots of choices. selayang food centre opens 24hrs. the only discomfort is the loud banging sound from the doors of rooms especially when there is many guests, childrens. will affect you at times when you need to get some extra sleeps in the day time.

Great stay! Although hotel is not centrally located, there are plenty of choices for foods outside the hotel building with walking distant. Some more the room has large TV and has subscribed to "super cinema channel" which non-stop playing different movies, that enough to entertain us without stepping out. The room is extremely large and nice design, unlikely to get this room at the same price at other place. The bathroom is very great, just the heater is hard to control. Everything is great, except a little bit weird that there are no shower cap, instant coffee/tea, glass cup provided where even a 2~3 stars hotel will have. Highly recommend for staying. It is worth to travel more mileage to this hotel compare to those centralized hotels.

Overall was good. I booked it for my family from hometown to KL (for 20 person). It really value for money, on top of shooping complex, near mamak stall and 7'eleven. Room is big enough for 2 people and clean. But you must to have own transport for getting around. I choose here because of cheap and nearby my house. It's near by Hospital Selayang and Selayang Mall. It's very suitable for anyone to visit somebody at Hospital Selayang.
