Unique, quiet, comfortable, and close to the train”
I'm not sure if the price that I paid was typical, but I think this hostel provides incredible value. For one, you get your own little "bedroom" that is a wooden sectioned off portion of the dorm accessible through a privacy sheet. The bed is bigger than a typical dorm bed and each "room" has a desk and a dresser for your clothes. The bathroom and shower were very clean and the place was quiet at night (probably because it was mostly Japanese people, the more foreigners at a place the more the noise level tends to go up). Outside of the dorm area there are a few common areas: a comic book reading room with free coffee, a smoking room, and another section with arcade games. There is also across the street a large lobby where you can work on your computer and have enough peace and quiet to focus. It is very close to the train station, perhaps a five minute walk or so. Overall, one of the coziest and high value hostels I've stayed at so far in my travels in Japan

Big rooms”
Big rooms, We took 1 twin bed and 1 japanese style. The japanese style room was a great experience. The extra futons are placed in cupboard, u can use it for ur children to have comfortable sleep. Coffee expresso machine free available at the lobby 24/7 one of the best thing of this hotel. The hotel is in middle of the town and just 2 minute walk to canal , glass museum and the grill seafood area. If you got your own car, overnight parking is just 1100 yen and its taken care by the hotel staff.

Best value & privacy”
I stayed at the dormitory. I was surprised how new the place is. It was clean and despite being called dormitory, you actually got a cube/partition of your own. The bed is large single with table top next to it. You dont get doin, but curtain instead. The partition have 3 power outlet +1 usb outlet. Thats plenty. Theres eventowel, pajama n toothbrush 👍 At the main common room theres free coffee machine, and fridge for use. Theres no pantry, however not having that makes the place clean n tidy. Also there retro arcade machine for you to kill time. The shower room is modern. For the money i paid, its actually good value. The receptionist can speak little english, so thats good enough. They may seems unfriendly, but if you ask politely, they will still help you. I think they are tired by the time i arrived for check in, so i forgive that.

What a nice hotel!”
Stayed at the female dorm, keycard to access. Nice and clean private space, bed was so comfy and warm. Free coffee 24h. Laundromat 200Y per time but free dryer! Near the JR station & the landmark. All the staffs work very well and super polite. Recommended!

Good choice in Otaru”
Good location, walking distance to the train station and canal. The place was very quiet during my stay. The large dormitory was partitioned into smaller areas, I had a whole area to myself. Friendly staff and very clean. I would stay again.

Good place for a couples vacation, 5 minute walk to train station, safe hotel, very clean, staff were very approachable and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. ^_^

Staff is amazing”
I lost my phone in Nagoya and fly to Hokkaido I ask the staff which can speak English very well to help, he call to Nagoya and manage to find my phone such an amazing guy. The room is small but with resonable prize, close to Otaru station, not far from Otaru canel

Great place”
Location very convient, everything is walking distance. if you drive parking is 1000yen a night. They are very strict on dropping keys off, but I worry about the security when requesting keys.

Surprised upon seeing my capsule because it was actually a room. The bed was big enough for two people even though only one is staying in the "dormitories". Very close to otaru canal. They do gave out free robes, trowels, and toothbrush set.

Good place for couple which inneed with privacy and affordable price”
Affordable price for couple if you choose one room for two person which has private bathroom, small double bed and non-smoking room. Got laundry downstairs only 200¥ and free dryer. Got heater, water heater and refrigerator in the room also which is so convenient. The hotel location is not so far from the otaru station. But u will get difficulty if u need to pull the luggage along with the snow to arrive at the hotel. We are so tired though. But i think its okay. Near to otaru canal and others. Recommended!!!

Location between JR Station and Otaru Canal. Reception Counter and Dormitory are different building just cross the road. Who have heavy luggage will very difficult going up
