Hotels with smoking area in Iluka

"We stayed just one night but could easily have stayed longer having sussed out the area and motel. The village of Iluka is rather quiet but that has its attractions and there is a very nice waterfront with a small beach and a relaxing pub not far from the motel. Around and about are beautiful forests and ocean beaches and the bigger town of Yamba is just across the water or a leisurely drive away. In Yamba there are restaurants and cafes and shops. The motel itself is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Everything works as it should. The owners are friendly, helpful and seem to be experienced and efficient. The small grounds are well looked after and even include barbecue facilities under a very attractive pergola. I would be very happy to stay there again. My gripe is only that I would have liked a bigger breakfast, though breakfast was included in the price, but it seems breakfasts are a bit of an afterthought in most Australian hotels/motels. The messages threatening fines for failing to wash up crockery seemed a tad mean too."
