Smoke-free hotels in Chinatown

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly & helpful, amenities were good. We were in 2 bedroom apartment, bedroom sizes were good however the bathrooms were very small & had little bench space. Lounge area was ample but taken up with an oversized coffee table. While showering the bathroom floor often flooded (due to poor drainage) which was annoying, hopefully will be attended to. Apart from that, a comfortable stay in nice modern apartment. Kids enjoyed the pool. We found it easy to walk to MRT station & Tiong Bahru Plaza (which has supermarket & food court), walking thru Beo Cresent (walkway is undercover). Location was an issue for some taxi drivers who didn't know where to go but we mainly travelled on MRT as it was the most efficient way to get to areas such as Chinatown, Orchard Rd, & Marina Bay. Would stay again when travelling with kids, good value for 2 bedroom apartment in quiet location."

"I've stayed in a few hotels in Chinatown and this was my first time at Bliss Hotel and certainly won't be my last. The bed and pillow are super comfortable, they include a smartphone for you to use with free data and free international calls! The location is superb as it is located right across the street from the MRT station and Chinatown Point, a mall with a very good selection of restaurants and shopping. Right next door is a Cheers and around the corner is a 7-eleven. The hotel is also in between two McDonalds in case you arrive late and need to grad a bite to eat. One of the McD is 24 hours. Everything was very clean, and the staff was very courteous. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location to Chinatown. Level 4 room number 04-03 at the end of a corridor, best room to stay as no passing traffic otherwise it would be noisy with people moving in and out. Seperate bedroom with pull out couch in lounge/dining room for 2nd bed. A code for the front door for security, luggage can be left behind the reception desk if you arrive earlier than the 2pm checkin (no staff on site most days we were there) one day we returned and the front door was jammed open so not so secure. Kitchen handy to heat things, cooktop but no microwave, cutlery & crockery supplied. Good size fridge and all in one washing machine/dryer. Downstairs is a great eating place for breakfast, good coffee. We were there midweek and the downstairs bar closed at midnight so noise wasn’t a big issue as in some reviews. 5 minute walk to Chinatown & the great street markets and eateries so I’d recommend this accommodation. Cons-no tea towel to wipe dishes and couldn’t find the rubbish shoot. "

"We booked at chinatown but was upgraded to ann siang hill branch which is just a few minutes walk away. And was upgraded to 500sqft unit with one bedroom. Location is great, just near chinatown, a lot of food stalls nearby. Got a separate bedroom at the loft, with tv. A dining room, a living room with netflix. The entire unit was airconditioned. With 2 fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils (plates, bowls, spoons, knives, glasses, pitcher) with stove and pots, with washer and dryer. They provided, laundry soap, dishwashing soap, hand soap aside from shampoo and body soap. Phone is provided, Staffs are nice, easily contactable. But be careful not to spoil anything as will be charged. Was planning to pay the deposit through cash but it will be a hassle setting an appointment with the staff of the checkout day just to return the deposit since they’ll just be available during office hours. Decided to use card instead (and would probably have some processing charges from my bank). "
