"I loved the hotel itself although the restaurant facilities left a lot to be desired particularly as the resort is located some way out of town and not near to any food outlets. The food was simple Thai food and no menu and the kitchen closed at 6.30pm not ideal when returning from a day of sight seeing. Transport to and from the hotel to the city was problematic as they do not run a shuttle in the end we relied on taxis that wanted the two way trip paid. the rooms were spacious and the setting was wonderful if you wanted peace and quiet, which I did. Overall the stay was pleasant and the staff very friendly. I got a heavily discounted rate which was just as well because the rack rate would make it very poor value for money - 3 star priced as 5 star. they are willing to discount."
