Excellent Hotel with Awesome Services”
This is the first Kyoto hotel I stayed in Japan for six days. Hotel staff is from front desk down to kitchen are extremely helpful and polite, I am truly impressed by the japanese people, from their attitude to the ways things are being done. Hotel room is always clean and tidy whenever I got back. Hotel location is conveniently located next to the shopping district. It is also within walking distance to multiple subway line. The hotel is definitely worth for Its values to money. As an experienced traveler, I would strongly recommend you not to miss this hotel. Almost everyone says Kyoto is a beautiful place to see, but I would like to add one thing to it, almost every Japanese’s face in Kyoto are filed with warm and heartily smiles. Love you, Kyoto!

Wonderful time in Kyoto”
It is placed in the downtown of Kyoto, so we were very useful and easily to go to shopping or having lunch/dinner. It is also near by the station which is going to Osaka directly (no change!)! The hotel stuff asked me if we would like to upgrade our room with really cheep extra charge. Obviously we did! We changed the room to River View Twin bed, it was amazing! The room was bigger than I thought, was very clean. There are little Japanese sweet, it was very tasty. Only I had a problem that the sink was very small. So I couldn’t make up easily. The shower was not too strong pressure. But they had the bath salt as a amenities, and it was very nice. I would love to stay here again!

I will definitely recommend and stay again. Hotel is lovely, employees are very kind, insensitive so relaxing and clean and the location I think is great! Nishiki Market, Gion and more are all very walkable. Rent bikes nearby and ride along the river and to many sites. We rode to the Silver Pavillion and back along the river and along the Philosophers Pathway.. Thanks Solaria for the great hospitality!

Travelling with a big group of family members”
A very impressive hotel with good facilities and nice staff service. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the city and is very closed to a lot of attraction. As it is just next to 鴨川, the hotel has got very good view if you are willing to pay extra money for a room facing the lake. The service is good and caring. We arrived in late July so the weather was very hot. When we went out to join the Summer Parade, the hotel staffs were standing at the hotel exit, giving iced bottle water and very nice Japanese paper fans to all hotel guests who are going out from the hotel. This service is highly impressive. I will definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again in future.

Well located, comprehensive features ”
We booked this hotel for three nights at the last moment when we discovered our much more expensive hotel was undergoing large scale renovations, which they had not bothered to warn us about. At a much lower rate, the Solaria room had almost the same features. One particular feature of the room was that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower and sinks. The staff was exemplary - numerous smiling young men and women, each helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. The downstairs onsen was great. The location was perfect, next to the City Hall subway station, right by the river, 150 yards from a scenic Starbucks and 15 minutes walk along the river to the heart of Gion.

The staff was super helpful, the room and amenities were beautiful. The only thing that was a con was that you could not use the spa if you have tattoos. I did not find that out until I had already checked in. It was one of the reasons I chose to stay there and it was a let down that I was allowed to use the facility. They should make sure that when they are advertising that it clearly states that no tattoos are allowed. Other than that it was lovely.

This is our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly, efficient and very helpful especially the manager. Breakfast was very good with wide selections. The hotel really put effort in every details what guest wants and needs. Location was very convenient a short walk to subway station and many good restaurants nearby. Overall, my daughter and I had a lovely stay in Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier. We would definitely vome back again!

We stayed 2 nights in Solaria Nishitetsu, the checkin was smooth, room adequately spacious, very clean with all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was international and Japanese. Location, is close to Sanyo station with access to key sightseeing spots.

Exceptional”
Love my stay here! Strategic location where you can find most of the shop lots nearby including restaurants, convenience stores, cafes and etc. The public onsen for in house guest is amazing and they got all the amenities prepared at the hot bath changing rooms which is very thoughtful. Love their room design as well but very pretty view (designer garden). Very helpful staffs, will definitely book here again for the next trip!

Solaria was the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. Close to everything and near a metro station. The rooms were clean and the service top notch. I loved their onsen. The staff is so nice and accommodating.

Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in general. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful, room was beautiful with so many toiletries and amenities provided , the public bath was nice as well. Hotel was super close to the subway and was also close to a lot of the downtown action. Close walking distance to Gion district at well. Would recommend this hotel !

Great location. Walking distance to kyoto shopping street. Near bus and train station that is very good in visiting different temples. The room is spacious. Comfortable bed. We had a good sleep. The hotel’s onsen is also great and very relaxing after a day tour. The breakfast that they serve is also delicious. We will surely book again.

The rooms are well appointed, beautifully presented and quiet. The reception staff go out of their way to assist and the Concierge Kazuma is knowledgable and helpful. Great restaurants and destinations were suggested and we found them to be excellent choices. Highly recommend this hotel.

Combination of Great service, facilities and location”
The hotel staff were very friendly and considerate throughout the stay, combined with Onsen baths and a great restaurant. Within walking distance to the nearby Nishiki Markets and Gion, and the train station is just next to the hotel should you choose to take public transport. Highly recommend this place to take in the sights and sounds of Kyoto.

This hotel lived up to the reviews we had read! Room was exactly as we had expected, public onsen was well maintained and staff were fabulous. A special shout out to the concierge Mr. Takada who always had a smile on his face and helped us throughout our stay. This was our first visit to Japan and he was very patient with all of our questions and helped us arrange tickets to an arts performance. Location is along the riverfront with great access to public transportation and walking distance to many restaurants and nightlife. Highly recommend. Nice touch that they provide free umbrellas in the front entrance.

I'd like to thank Nami who was the staff that was doing the concierge service for being very helpful. She did an excellent job and made our Kyoto trip wonderful. The room and the hotel were clean, the public bath area was great. I enjoyed the tea provided in the room. The location is nice and it's close to train station. There are convenience stores and nice restaurants in close distance. Highly recommended.
