Sopron Monastery Hotel is set in a former monastery, 3.5 km from the centre of Sopron. The newly renovated rooms are elegantly furnished with wooden floors and feature modern bathrooms. All spacious rooms have a work desk and a private bathroom. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. Guests can relax during a walk in the large garden or during a massage. Quiet place to stay”
We stayed 2 nights and had very good time. The hotel is very quiet, breakfast is fantastic. It is not close to the city centre, walking is about 50 mins. Bus is convenient, but only every hour. Staff were friendly too.

The hotel is located sideways from the city. So without car is the problem. The hotel is relaxing, it is nicely restored, the breakfast is standard. Half do not recommend, it was embarrassing and unpleasant disappointment. I find it sad that such a hotel offers a half board and is served at a price level of 2, except that in the second price group / tavern / you are mostly welcome and good. We left hungry and angry.

Zu einem Hotel umgestaltetes und geschmackvoll renoviertes Klostergebäude - insbesondere der Speisesaal ist beeindruckend; absolute Ruhelage nahe dem Zentrum von Sopron; sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen; sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter - wirklich empfehlenswert !!
