Great location and friendly staff”
My family of 3 senior elders stayed at Sotestu Fresa Inn Kamakura Ofuna for 4 nights for our travel in Kanagawa province. The hotel is very close to Ofuna train station with just 5 minutes walk, which easy to commute to other cities of our destination such as Yokohama, Kamakura, Fujisawa, Hakone. There are many stores and restaurants around the hotels which is great to spend your time shopping and eating. The room is clean, a bit cramped but that is what most hotel in Japan is. The facilities are in full-functions. The cafe is connected to the hotel which convenient for breakfast with only 550 yen per person which considered quite cheap for a meal in Japan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They always welcome and send you off with smiles on their faces. We had a pleasant time.

Decent hotel for the price”
Hotel room was a bit cramped for two people but clean and adequate for the price. Breakfast voucher was for a meal at the cafe in the lobby. Close to the station. If I need to overnight in Kamakura again, I would stay there again.

Great Location”
Ofuna is a good central hub location to see Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. You can also take Narita Express straight to there. Fresa Inn is almost immediately across the street from Ofuna Station and very close to restaurants and a supermarket. Clean, small room with slightly larger than normal bathroom. Only complaint was room layout meant TV on side of the bed, not at the foot. Very helpful staff.

Clean, convenient, comfortable, courteous”
Smooth check in check out. The room was small as per Japanese standard but certainly one of the most comfortable ones we have stayed in. We could easily walk around and there was enough space to open our large suit case on the side. Toilet was also decent sized. The staff speaks okay english so language was not a problem. We dont smoke but we got the smoking room so the corridors were always stinking but the room was fine. If you exit Ofuna station from the North exit the hotel is literally across the road. So the location is superb as you have the station at 1 min walk. The surrounding area as nice restaurants ranging in the type of cuisine. It has a departmental store called Seiyu behind a few lanes which is very reasonably priced. We did a lot of clothes shopping from there. Also there is a Oh Plaza mall right next door which is similar to Bic Camera. Didnt try the breakfast but we felt it was limited. There is no concept of free water bottles but the Electronic kettle is refilled daily which is the source of drinking water. Otherwise buy your own water from the nearby Family Mart. All in all its a decent joint and I highly recommend it.

The hotel has a great location, it is located 3 mins walk from Ofuna station. The room is very clean but it's very small and the bed is very small too. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. Free tea and coffee are provided at the hotel lobby. Free WiFi in the room.

Close to Transport”
This is a nice getaway Hotel for travellers that want to have a trip to either Kamakura or Yokohama. VERY close to Train station. Quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.

The hotel location is good, just next to JR Ofuna station. Hotel is clean & staff are polite & helpful. However you need to take 2 JR stops to Kamakura for sightseeing.

This was a convenient hotel, and a good place to stay for Kamakura. I don't really agree with the four star rating though, it's more like a good three star hotel. The room is not super modern and could do with some renovation. Overall a good place and clean

A hotel near Ofuna station.”
The hotel is near the northern exit of the Ofuna station. There is a supermarket nearby. The room is small which is normal for budget Japanese hotel. Do not expect much for breakfast. The staff are friendly.

Great Hotel in Ofuna/Kamakura”
We had a lovely time here. The staff was very accommodating and didn't charge us extra when we checked in a bit too early (usually there's a fee if you're more than one hour early). There was a simple breakfast menu that worked great for us, but if you need a whole buffé it might not be for you. We also really appreciated the free coffee and tea in the lobby. The rooms were very nice, though some might find them small compared to western standards. We had all the space we needed though! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good location but tiny room”
We were impressed by its location next to JR ofuna and other numerous life necessities- restaurants, supermarkets, and it's very convenient to take short trips to scenic places scattered around. The size of the room is the smallest I ever experienced, just big enough for a queen bed.

Poor location for any tourists”
Very small rooms which was unfortunate because I had picked this hotel since it was supposed to have somewhat larger rooms. This was the smallest room in our 3 weeks. Breakfast was minimal but ok. Biggest issue was the location was terrible unless you are specifically going to Ofuna. Do not stay here if your destination is Kamakura because it is not convenient and there is no Tourist Information at the Train Station which is right next door...and the hotel has no tourist maps or material.

Nice location, nice service”
We were very happy to stay here. The hotel is surprising for its nice location and polite service. Overall the room is clean, but a fly in the ointment is that, it seems that the bed sheets were not changed as we found bloodstains (not sure if they were made by us or not) in the corner.
