Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short this time, I hope to be back for a visit in the future. This is an excellent hotel location within walking distance to karasuma station (approx. 5 minutes ), 15 - 20 minutes walk to, Nishiki Market, Gion Shijo & about 30-45 minutes walk to kiyomiduzera temple (or a 10 minutes bus [A 207 ] drive from gion shijo station). Also a walking distance to kawaramachi station or Gion Shijo station. At Gion Shijo station you can take the kelham railway (5 stops) to fushimi-inari (Trisha Shrine). And about 7 stops to Arashiyama (bamboo groove)Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff”
We have a superb stay at the hotel. it is really near to Shijo station and karasuma station is also just nearby, Easy access to Nishiki market. We mistaken our luggage with other passengers at the airport, one of the female front officer who can speak Chinese did her best in helping us to solve the issue, her service is beyond our expectation. Because of her kind gesture, we are able to enjoy our trip without worrying how to settle our prob. Upon check in, the hotel provides my 16months old toddler with a goodie pack which consists of toothbrush, toothpaste, scrub sponge and etc, and my dd really love it. Will definitely stay again if I were to visit Kyoto.

Great hotel at amazing value. Central location just right around the corner from the metro station. Within walking distance to shopping malls, the market, convenience stores. Large, clean, rooms that were extremely comfortable and inviting. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kyoto!

We stayed for 5 nights and it was a pleasant stay. Walkable distance to everything and just few steps away from subway station. The hotel is pretty new so it’s very clean and quite spacious compare to other hotels we stayed during our trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

My Japanese friend recommended this branch of hotels and I can’t thank him enough! The Kyoto Fresa Inn was immaculately clean, good sized room with all the amenities one would need like hair dryer, hot water kettle, PED charging station near beds etc and the hotel even offers tea/coffee/complimentary face masks/cleansing oil etc The location was amazing, just a few strides from the station and a walk away from bus stops to most attractions. The staff are polite and when I told them that my daughters hair color had stained a towel and sheet, they smiled and said it was no problem. They stored our luggage for us for the day, which was very convenient! I think this a super value for money hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Very good location and convenient to go everywhere either by train or bus. Short waking distance to Nishiki Market also. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby provide Ogawa Coffee everyday, I like the coffee very much!

An extremely value for money hotel that I stayed in. It was clean, neat and the staff were friendly. Only downside was that the WiFi is only good for mobile but not desktop usage. Trying to save my RAW photos to the cloud takes a very long time.

Everything was perfect, from location (easy access to Shijo and Karasuma stations) to room size, cleanliness and friendly staff! Price was reasonable for such a convenient location, but it could also be due to the shoulder season.

The location is very good. Out of my expected. Walking distance to the famous street. And family mart is just nearby. The hotel has provided the free mask, spa powder, and so on!!! Super good!!! Location is unbeatable. Room is bright, v clean and I can literally not bring any personal toiletries as all are provided for which you can pick up sachets from reception area. Bathroom water strength us powerful. Mattress and pillow are perfect for me. As each room comes with stand alone aircon, you can adjust temperature to your preference. Family Mart is nearby and I saw a 7-11 being built just downstairs at the corner. Perfect in every requirements? Checked.

Plus points: Staff at front desk has great attitude and very helpful to requests and questions. Room is clean and equip with thoughtful amenities and appliances. Very near to convenient stores and bus stations and subway/train stations. Limited selection of restaurants at immediate locale. For improvement: Could do with newer bed sheets - the bed sheets were worn.
