Sriwilai Sukhothai (SHA Extra Plus)
Historical Park,Sukhothai - View on map
"We went to Sukhothai a couple of times although only for 1 night we never took care of the hotel we were staying, as long as was clean. This time we looked at the hotel more carefully and found out that, as per reviews and comments, Sriwilai was the best one and we wanted to try it and we are so happy we did. The hotel is perfect to experience a full complete Thai experience, "thainess" that at the end is what Sukhothai is all about. The hotel is located closed to the historical park and since the arrival, the music, the gardens, the sounds, the decoration get you immerse in that feeling of satisfaction and gladness of being in Thailand at this very same moment and time. Sukhothai is an important representation of Thailand history and the hotel represents that glimpse of uniqueness of history. The rooms are spacious, ours was kind of dark but we agree that getting a room through an OTA is what we get, nevertheless the view to the lotus pond, the walk through the vegetation and the corridor and the pleasant swimming pool make you forget that the views from the window are not that nice. The bathroom is full of amenities, is that kind of hotel where if you forget your toilettries back home, you wont miss them. That pool is stunning overlooking the rice paddy fields and the clean open air with not skyscrapers, tall buildings, just nature. We will be back very very soon! Thank you "

Legendha Sukhothai (SHA Certified)
Historical Park,Sukhothai - View on map
"Great environment with trees and foliage providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has access to wat changlom at the back entrance. It has a small stream passing through it, which provides for opportunity to see some wildlife and adds to the character of the place. Sukhothai historical park is about 1km away. Bicycles are available at the park or can be hired locally. The swimming pool is warm as it gets the sun all day with no shade but is open till late. Enjoyed our 3 day stay with the staff providing great service. Breakfast was good with coconut hot cakes a favourite. We enjoyed the restaurant and food as we had a lunch after a morning visit to Sukhothai and 2 dinners. Massage was great best so far in Thailand. "

Tharaburi Resort Sukhothai
Historical Park,Sukhothai - View on map
"We loved this hotel and would give it 10/10 even with a few facilities missing. The WiFi was 'iffy' but so it was in every hotel we stayed in that area over a week, even a couple of 5-star hotels. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble; the Thai food was excellent; the breakfast was more than sufficient; the location was excellent but we did have a car to get around everywhere in the region. We would not stay anywhere else in the Sukhothai area in the future and we shall be back. Sukhothai is a quiet but very interesting place to explore."

"My wife and I stayed at this Guest House for 3 nights, we had a wonderful time there. We had tried other hotels in Sukhothai before, this is by far the BEST. Staffs speak good English. Breakfast is awesome, lots of selections and taste delicous, much better than other hotels. Room is super clean and they clean your room daily. Staffs always carry a smile. They are extremely polite and helpful, cannot praise them enough. Will definitely stay there again whenever visit Sukhothai."

"Open arrival at the Sabai Sabai (3 1/2 *) we were told that, booked out, they've moved us to the nearby Sukhothai Heritage (4 *) ... same owner ... thus I cannot comment on the Sabai Sabai. Sukhothai Heritage is a wonderful place, we'll go back there for sure."

"We loved the hotel clerk, he spoke the best English of anyone we’ve met in Thailand yet and was very knowledgeable about Sukhothai places, prices, etc. The room was also the nicest yet, with the most comfortable bed! Washrooms were large, clean, and for once in Thailand there was no mold! The hotel also offered a book with info like bus times tables and history on the main sites that was very helpful. Downsides were that it was a bit of a walk into the main area and they do not rent bicycles at the hotel. They also do not offer breakfast although I read that they did, and it was a bit noisy early in the morning when neighbors were getting up for early tours - and we could even hear the prayers and music coming from inside the park (prayers did not bother us but the base music at 6 am was a little annoying). And over 200 channels on tv but not one in English. "

Naracha Resort

"I booked this resort with no regret based on its previous review at Agoda. I was very impressed with its location ( away from those noisy street traffic and yet near to the entrance of the historical park). I particularly like the design of the unit/resort room. Don't forget to try the food at its restaurant ( totally Thai home cooked style , very yummy at a very reasonable price). Will definitely come back here to stay for my future visit in Sukhothai."

Pailyn Hotel

"The hotel is a grand hotel with an incredible inner courtyard. At night, there are practically no lights to be seen around the hotel. Feels like you are in the jungle. Sukhothai historical sites are a must see on any visit to Thailand. A short excursion from the hotel will get you there without spending a lot of travel time. The Thai traditional massages arranged through the hotel were the best my wife and I have ever had, and my wife is Thai."

Dorm of Happiness by Tharaburi
Historical Park,Sukhothai - View on map
"Lovely staff! I can’t recommend enough. Rental bikes are only 50 tbt and a good idea to easily visit Sukhothai historic park because walking in the heat 2 km back and forth is time consuming. All the staff are so kind and helpful to everyone. The owner even gave me a ride to the nearby bus stop with my bags because I was in a rush to not miss. Great natural location away from the busy Main Street. They have an amazing swimming pool and garden with lotus pond, very nice old teak house for the dorm and an upscale resort on the same property. I will miss the beautiful staff and hope to return. This is a good value for the money and quiet place , not a party hostel. This is the kind of place with honest and very helpful staff. They deserve credit for making it feel like home. "
