Excellent”

I usually don't like youth hostels, but I appreciated my week at Space Hotel. Staff is friendly and sort problems quickly, rooms are really quiet, the capsule concept is really nice, you can keep your intimacy for pretty cheap, you have USB ports, you can plug your laptop, you have light, a mirror, you even have a flat screen TV with headphone and a safe but you won't feel suffocating, you have enough space to sit and move in the capsule. You won't have to be waiting for the bathroom either. You can smoke a cigarette or bring your lunch to the terrasse, sit on the couch in the lobby and watch TV if you want. Location is pretty good too, in China Town, near to everything, mini markets, walking streets, restaurants. Thumbs up.

1st time solo traveler”

It was my first time to travel alone in another country and space hotel was where I choosed to stay and it was perfect. I have my own capsule, clean comfort rooms and most importantly friendly staff. They were so kind to assist me and answer my questions. The location was also very close to china town and central market just walking distance. Overall my experience was excellent.

Great Place”

This place is great, capsules are big and clean, they have a very cool look and they are very tech. A little bit noisy, but not an issue, showers are very good and the staff was ever so helpful. Close to Chinatown and bus station. If is this your first time in Kuala Lumpur, this city is very hard to walk in, trains, buses and taxi are the only way to get around.

After reading the reviews about this place I wanted to try it out - it was worth of an experience. Locationwise, it's right on Petailing Street, Chinatown. Plenty of food stalls, fresh cut fruits. The room (bed) is a whole new experience and is worth trying. There are 30 stair steps to walk up to get to the lift to the reception on level 3 and I had no problem with this. I stayed in a single Capsule Bed - 8 Female. It's a newly open hotel. My bed is clean. However, my bed sheet and towel were not changed daily (or I should have asked?). Anyway I was there 2 nights and didn't have issue on this. I do not think they swept the floor the whole time I was there so there were lots of hair on the floor. I could hear people open and close the "Space door" to get into their bed. However, there's 100% privacy once you close your own door. The bed is quite low and could be a bit difficult to get in and out for someone who is less than fit.

What a Great Place!”

This was a very cool and economical place to stay. Had some difficulty finding it at first so if you come go into China Town and look around. The pics got a lot of attention on my social media pages. The facilities were perfect for the modern day traveler. The location was clean, quiet and well managed. The price is amazing.

An interesting experience to stay in a outer space themed capsule hotel and the facilities and necessities at the hotel are suprisingly good. The bed is clean and comfortable as well. However, the location is a little bit walking distance from LRT station and the way to reach the hotel is quite unsafe and dark at night. The temperature of the shower is unstable so it is troublesome for me. Overall, a satisfying experience and will choose this hotel again if I am going to places around there.

The place suitable for backpackers and businesses trip guests ”

Space hotels was nice and comfortable and Beautiful. Recommended for backpackers to stay here. I hope that space hotel could upgrades their locker to put luggage. The locker a little bits too small and I had to put my luggage inside my room.

favourite capsule hotel in kl”

ive tried quite a few capsule hotels in kl - i think this one is the best. shout out to yersin at reception. he is the most warm, consistent and pleasant host. as with any capsule place, you are slighly at the mercy of your neighbours in the room. but each pod has a lockable door and fast wifi. bring your earphones and enjoy space :) once the lift is serviced, this place will score a 10 for me.

This hotel seems newly opened, all areas are nice and clean. Space theme Design is somehow cool. Front desk staff are very friendly and supportive. Is located on a walking distance to most main spots Close to LRT station. Cabin was safe and silent. Great value with good accommodation. Definitely will stay here on my next trip.

excellent, with a few teething challenges”

fantastic place. highly recommend. pretty much brand new. each capsule has a lockable door, power point, two additional usb chargers, plenty of lights, a work table, tv, adjustable air conditioning settings and very comfortable bedding. staff at reception very warm and friendly. bathroom pleasant. a well executed space theme concept. on the negative, a few teething issues... elevator was broken (3 flights of stairs), tv inside capsule had no tv arial connected yet and the hotel reception area could do with some more furniture for those who want to come out from their capsule and chat with other guests. would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

New and clean sp@ce. kindly and cheerful staff couple that living there. Reception and room was 3rd floor with about 72steps. G-2nd floor and lift was still under construction. OMG!It was no body reviewed. Room was always 16Degrees, shower room was 50degrees with no air conditioning and fan. I like cool air. When I use shower and open the shower entrance door , every time hijab wearing woman staff was coming soon and close it without no talk to me and When I after shower,off course, again she soon come in shower room, everyday.she always look out camera monitor. She often go to toilet also.

Value for money and Chinatown is just opposite road. So convenient.”

I’m feel happy to stay in Space Hotel@ Chinatown. The person in-charge Miss Jesslyn is very NICE & HELPFUL. The Receptionist also very helpful and with good manners. Not advisable to travel by car, because the parking in KL is very expensive.

Good place to explore the city”

Good location (very near Chinatown and LRT station to reach KL Sentral), friendly staffs and clean room. They also have laundry service good for staying after a long journey.

Lots of fun”

Really cool set-up. The pods were awesome. Also, pods are better than regular hostel beds because you can block out light and some sound! Clean bathroom, everything fit the space theme. Only negs were that the lockers and slide didn't work, which was disappointing.

The reception counter is located on the 3rd level, easy accessible by the elevator but you'll have to walk up a short flight of stairs to reach it. You'll have to take off your shoes before entering the reception area, there's gonna be a shoe rack for you to put your shoes there. The staff is very friendly. If it's your first time here, he'll explain the layouts and hostel policy to you. There's a common area on the same level, a balcony area for smokers. Sadly, no breakfast provided. The room or "capsule" is spacious and beautiful! It can only be accessed by the access card given to you. There's a "control panel" in each capsule, for controlling the aircond and lighting. There's a TV too but I find it useless because there's nothing to watch. The personal locker provided is not big enough to fit my 20 inch luggage, so I'll have to keep it elsewhere. The locker too needs your access card to open. They have a laundry area, help yourself out. It's not free though. The location of this hostel is perfectly located within the walking distance to the metro and bus station. I would definitely come back again! Definitely recommending you to give it a try too!

Decent place, new concept”

This place worth a visit, to experience something different once in awhile. We came here 4 of us. We stayed in our own quarters for four. Pros: Clean toilet and clean room. Friendly staffs. Good location at city center, walking distance to Petaling Street. Cons: No parking, TV in our space bed not working during our stay. Verdict: I think this place deserve a chance from everyone to come on for a night stay.

Hotel is new . So near to Chinatown with plenty of good food and transportations easy. Only setback cabinet not working, tv pod and reading light not working in the capsule that I am staying and also no dustbin in the room to dispose rubbish.
