Great place if you want to recharge yourself in natural bliss ”

Queen of the mountains as its popularly known, Mussoorie hosts this grand resort - Sterling. Resort on the whole is amazing. The approach road is worrying. Getting to this resort is a nightmare. No signage prominently placed. We found it difficult to get to this place. But once in, it was a nice one to spend a few nights. They have a choice of hotel rooms and suites. Suites are spacious. Food is a bit above average. Could try this one fir 3/4 days. By the way, no shuttle services to mall Road which is the main market street. You need to spend Rs. 600 for a return trip to the mall road.

Awesome experience”

We (me, my wife and kid) stayed at Sterling Holidays Mussorie from 23rd to 27th feb'21 and we are glad that we chose this place for our vacation. Since it is Corona time, we were extra cautious about choosing the right place but we were quite impressed to see the precautions they were taking - none of the staff was without mask at anytime, sanitizers were put across in the entire resort, guidelines for the guest to wear mask at all public places ( lobby, reception area, lift etc.). Delicious food and good variety to choose from, spices were just right and suitable for everyone including kids. Multiple Outdoor and Indoor activities to keep you engaged in the resort. Special thanks to Chirag who actually made it all the more special for us by arranging a Surprise Cake on our anniversary. One of the days of our stay was Bartender Day and We were also given a task to prepare mocktails ( a new experience for us) Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it👍

Correct choice for family holiday”

1.activity room attract children. 2.wide space for parking. 3.rooms are bit larger and bathroom is compact but well arranged. 4.foodnside especially main course sterling should need to improve.because resort is far away from mall road there is no good dine restaurant under 2km radius. 5.they have multiple variety in breakfast, I most love their fresh cook dosa and omlet, pancakes, idli, sambar vada even they serve non veg also. Beautiful landscape view..

Fantastic Experience with Pine Hill”

My wife and I arrived Mussoorie by flight from Delhi. We were picked-up by Hotel taxi and took 2 hours drive from Dehradun Airport to our Hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and the lobby are kind of funky and cool. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as we were checking in, and continued to be as we asked questions. We stayed for four nights and had a classic room with a king size bed. The room was quite big by European standards, as well as very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all the rooms and staff were great and we enjoyed our trip

seeing winterline is the best thing from STERLING. I have visited as a guest and returned to home as a Sterling member. Thanks to Nikhil and Shuklaji. Staff is very nice particularly Amit and Pyare. will visit once again.

A nice place to cut off from world!”

Located amidst absolutely serene picturesque location, all points to Sterling for hosting a beautiful stay. Only 2 negatives over all- 1. Almost no network connectivity, and slow wifi speed again with unreliable connectivity 2. More than a bit isolated location making it a bit costly and tiresome to reach out to Mussorie tourist spots from hotel location. Overall a nice stay. Reception staff was helpful and did their every possible bit to convert this stay into a memorable one. Also no in house bar. Cheers.

Wonderful Stay”

Sterling Mussorie is secluded from the hustle bustle of the tourist town yet it's close to the Mall Road. The service of the staff is amazing. People from the reception, office and housekeeping are all very helpful. With a view so good and 5 star service, I would love to stay at this place again.

Decent stay but could make it better”

I booked a suite, my sister was traveling with my mom dad. The view was amazing and the staff were very helpful and polite. The resort was clean and with good amenities. However they could use some renovation considering the standards of Sterling resort. There was a serious hot water issue, everyone had to wait for about 45 mins to take shower. In this digital world, you still have to pay for wifi, and on top of that you won't get any tower there to use you own cellular data or network. The road to reach the resort is very narrow, they could do something about that too if possible.

Far from Mall Road !!”

Actually its a very nice property and well maintained and have all qualities to be rated as “5 Star” but I am going with 3-Star rating because : 1. Property is located almost 3-4 kms away from Mussoorie mall road, there is nothing near to the property not even a small food joint ( though one can find 1/2 tea shops). If you are not on your own vehicle taxi from hotel to mall road will cost you Rs 300 one way as on hills this is not at all a walkable distance. 2. Hotel Staff is not 100% prompt, for small services you need to call them few times. If you want to just enjoy the property or travelling by your own vehicle its a good choice else you may feel stuck here. However considering the location of property cost is on bit higher side, I think should atleast have one round of drop and pick shuttle services to increase comfort level of guests.

Very good property but paid Wifi ”

This beautiful property is situated at the one end of Mussoorie, But it is beautifully located . Draw back is no mobile signals in room ( any network ) and no free Wi-Fi ( I can't thing these types of property without free Wi-fi in this time )

Location is 2.5 km away from mall road, Narrow road to the hotel. Amazing view from the hotel. Can witness winter line during sunset which is an event exclusive to Mussoorie and Switzerland

Very good”

Pros: Good property. Well maintained. New construction. Decent food. Cons: Location is not that good. Away from mall road. No free shuttle service to mall road. Obviously coz of far location. Taxi service to mall road is chargeable. Approach road is quite narrow. Network issue is major problem. No free wi-fi. Wi-fi is chargeable which should be free if there is network problem. A good number of indoor activities but again they are all chargeable. If anyone wants to spend time at resort only then its good option otherwise if anyone wants to explore mussoorie and nearby places then i think its not a very good option.

Worth the price”

As usual Sterling resorts are good to stay, but this one is little outside of the market approx 2 kms away so one needs to have a vehicle to reach the market area. One way its good that the resort is little far away from the crowd but it becomes difficult if anyone wants to go into the market area anytime. Rooms are neat and clean. Location is fantastic. Food little expensive. Staff is co-operative.

Value for money amazing stay”

Its my honeymoon stay. I ve booked the property for 2 nights . Its a privilage suite. The room was too gud and have all the facilities. They also give us the decoration in room that was too preety . The staff and food is also good. One day we missed our brekfst they still give us the complemntry fruits platter after check out. The staff specially pyare g and santosh g in house keeping are too good. Will highly recommend this.

Scenic, clean and good food”

I booked this resort online, and it turned out to be a great one. This is hanging out from hillside, meaning view from the room was gorgeous. Rooms were spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast was amazing, huge variety of food to pick from and many healthy choices. Dinner buffet was great too, albeit a bit costlier than you would hope. Plenty fo space for kids to run around.

30min climb from mall road”

Hotel is well managed , rooms are clean with good quality furniture. Rooms could have window which could open to enjoy fresh air and excellent view . Buffet Breakfast is usual mix of American and Indian cuisine . Due to covid times , most of hotel activities were rested so there was nothing to do except to go to Mall Road . It is 30min climb on way from Mall Road which is not very convenient after sunset . Taking vehicle out everyday on a very narrow stretch of a road to hotel is also avoidable . Overall 7/10 considering hotel comfort , food , location and service

Best Sunset from this Property..”

The Hotel is placed at an odd location but upon reaching (around 5PM) we witnessed one of the best sunsets and mountain views ever. (Even marriot lacks this) If u are travelling with a specially abled or an elderly person, u need to recheck with the property as there are unavoidable steps because of the steep slope & hardly any ramps to help the wheelchairs.. Lives up to its name- holiday differently!! Wonderful stay”

Large spacious rooms offering a mountainside view, friendly and helpful staff, less items on menu but excellent preparation. There’s no wify and the property is located a little off route, but the view compensates for it. We were looking forward to a peaceful holiday and it indeed offers one😊

Its Far from the center”

The property is excellent if you plan to stay in & dont move out .... else its 2.5 kms from Mussoorie Library and only single lane road hence commuting to & fro is a challenging & hectic task.
