A Great Experience at an Exceptional Price”
we had some apprehension before booking because we had seen some spotty reviews, but the great price i got from agoda tipped the scales. to our pleasant surprise, everything was top notch from the clean, spacious and comfortable room, recently renovated with firm comfortable beds, to the restaurants, and the show by frankie moreno, an excellent entertainer in the las vegas tradition. we stayed two nights before heading to a timeshare near the national parks in utah. since we had a rental car, the location at the end of the strip (near the wynn) was not a problem. in fact it was probably better than being in the frenzy at the middle of the strip. we ate at the casual roxy's diner and the high-end mccall's heartland grill. both were superb in their own way. roxy's had large portions, friendly service and even a host that broke into song. the grill was a plush experience with well-presented high-level cuisine. the manager even visited every table to ensure that everything was fine. one of the advertised highlights of the hotel is the adventure at the top of the sphere. they have various thrill rides such as a "free-fall" on a tether from the 103-story tower. we're seniors, so it wasn't for us, but we did enjoy watching. in late november there were a lot of renovations going on, so the buffet and the bar at the top of the tower were closed. didn't matter much during a short stay. believe the renovations are now completed anyhow. all in all, a very pleasant stay at a great price. even won $90 at the slots, but then gave it back, of course.

One of the best iconic hotel”
This iconic hotel is definitely one of the best in Las Vegas. The Strat tower, the lobby with hundreds of slot machines and casinos, bars, restaurants, swimming pools, gyms, amusement rides on top of the tower and everything makes the trip wonderful. And I am sure I missed a whole lot of other facilities. Totally recommending the upgrade to Strip view rooms.

Amazing service, Incredible Experience”
Overall it was a great hotel to stay at. The room was comfortable and clean, if not just a tad dated. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and even switched us to a better room with a view of the strip at no additional cost when we complained our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The food was delicious, especially the buffet. A variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a great selection of desserts. The hotel is a tad far from the main portion of the strip, but the walk isn't so bad. The "Deuce" bus line takes you all the way down to Mandalay Bay and up to Fremont Street, so it wasn't so bad. The tower offers a great view of the surrounding area and of Las Vegas itself. Drinks are great if not somewhat overpriced, but that's Vegas for you! It was quite a good experience for us and I would enjoy staying there again.

One word: Awesome!!!!!!!”
What stood out from anything is the fact of the manner of professionalism, courtesy, and respect of the staff. That is a true rareity in this day and age. The room was great and the view of the LV strip was just breathtaking. The observation deck was awestricking. I would recommend anyone that it is visiting Las Vegas for the first time to stay at the Strat. It's worth it.....

Good value, but a bit far from main strip”
It was our first time in Vegas and we were quite happy with our stay here at the Stratosphere... although we waited awhile in line to check in. I inquired for a top floor room with a view and the staff member was kind enough to offer us a room with beautiful view of the old Vegas. Like most Vegas Casino hotels, the Stratosphere was smokey even in the no smoking floor. I woke up a couple of times when a whiff of ciggy smoke came through from under our door. Everything in our room we were happy with - it was clean and spacious and the view is spectacular. The Big Red Bus stops at this hotel, which is convenient so we didn't need to catch public transport to get to a stop. We basically used this tourist bus to get around strip, with the occasional taxi/bus ride. Since I've done the sightseeing of Vegas now, next time I would probably stay at another hotel closer to the main part of the strip for greater entertainment. Only thing that require improving at this hotel is hiring/ training staff to be friendlier and knowledgeable. One of the female staff at the information counter was rather blunt and very unhelpful.

Affordable hotel at the very end of Las Vegas Strip”
I'll recommend this hotel if you would like to divide your time between Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Vegas. Although it's located at the very end of the Strip, this makes the location accessible to Downtown Vegas. The room is spacious and the rates are more affordable compared to the other hotels at the Strip. The room has a bit of a musty smell. It's tolerable though. Each hotel guest also gains access to the viewing deck at the top of this tall building. Moreover, guests get to enjoy the thrill rides at a discount.

Couldn't beat the price”
Deals come and go when I search for places to stay in Vegas. This time it was the Stratosphere. It's a really cool hotel/casino with lots of entertainment in the place itself. Not a bad location, pretty much right between the old and new hangout spots. Uber/taxi isn't very much to get around. Lots of food nearby. There were a few people shouting in the street when I was walking home, but hey, it's Vegas, and that has nothing to do with the hotel, but something to keep in mind lol. Overall, I had a great stay, and I'd go again! Check out the amusement rides on top of the building -- super cool!

outstandig place with info you should know before.”
Important things all bookers should know before. - no breakfast - "resort fee" must be paid at checkin (not included in voucher) - 24 hours Wifi - 12 USD (no other open wifi available) - the pool closing time is from 7 pm to 9 am !!! - no need for checkout, just leave (if you have a prepaid Agoda Voucher) - free parking in many floors, but only marked with number+color, must remember your parking place very good - if you have to pack all your stuff and gear after a camping tour and want to do it in your room, you have to take all stuff from parking via gangway+escalator down into casino area and use a lift out of the casino (not nice with lots of luggage) My special experience: I made a mistake and did book the wrong night: the following night. The staff was very helpfull in this very complicated situation to negotiate with Agoda customer service and Agoda with the purchasing department of the hotel and the information updated in system of reservation for the hotel. I could use their telephone and the manager in charge took care of me. Absolutely excellent. As we negotiated long (about 1 hour) before everything was OK, time was now after 7 pm and the pool area was closed. As a compensation for all the trouble he gave me a free upgrade to the highest floor, 24th, and he did not charge the "resort fee" - I appreciated. The view from floor 24 is outstanding. but absolute highlight is the view from Stratosphere Tower (sunset!!). Nobody should miss that, even when staying not in this hotel and have to pay for the tower admission.

great hotel bad location”
i took my bf to vegas for college graduation and we stayed at the stratosphere it was great! check in was easy their is a shuttle that takes you from the airport to the hotel of vice versa for about $8 the hotel is a ways from the strip but the walk is possible we did it! the good thing about the hotel is that you never have to leave the hotel. they have a 24 hour tattoo and piercing shop upstairs along with a mcdonald's and fat tuesdays the buffet is disqusting and not worth the money so save ur self. but they have great bars and the view from the tower is unbelievable! staff were pretty friendly and the rooms were very spacious the bed wonderful king. checkout was simple we jus called down to the front desk and they closed the account we took the keys and were on our way. they have an outdoor pool and jacuzzi on a beautiful deck the pool is open year round but the bar on the deck is seasonal. i def recommend this hotel and great prices we would go back no question.

Everything at one place”
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, Everything is fantastic ( nice and clean room with good strip view (day+night), swimming pools) and have everything inside (casinos, shops, restaurants), tower is beautiful with having rides on the top floor and also have beautiful views to the whole Vegas. but this hotel is at the end of the strip and you have to walk 20-25 mins to the main strip.

Great 24hrs gym!”
PROS: Great 24hrs gym with many equipment, although it is tucked away in one of the towers, indicating there is a long walk to the gym. On the plus side, there is a food store on the same floor to grab a bite after a workout. There is also a decent circus show just outside the hotel itself as well. Price of the rooms are cheaper comparative to the other hotels on the strip. The buffet was so-so, worth a try. CONS: The strat cafe serves decent food, but the waiting times are really too long (BOTH the queue and after ordering). Also, the hotel is far from the strip itself.

Great deal for the price”
Pro: rooms very clean. Housekeeping would restock everything from bathroom soaps to bedding. Staff is super friendly. They send texts to make sure everything is alright and if anything is needed. Great gym has everything that is needed. My stay at the stratosphere was because I did the Spartan race over the weekend. Drinks at lower bar inexpensive compared to the other hotels and are way better. Drinks I recommend from there are pina colada and Long Island. Cons: It's pretty far from the main strip. Even by Lyft which I took. Otherwise nothing to complain about room wise. My last stay was at the Luxor and Stratosphere definitely beats it even though it was cheaper. I definitely will stay here again on my next visit to Vegas. Thanks guys!!! -Julio

Exceeded my expectations”
After reading other travelers' reviews, I was pretty skeptical about the hotel and had low expectations, but our stay turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise. I was slightly discouraged once we entered after seeing a very long line at the check in counters, but the ladies at the front desk were very efficient and we were helped in no time. Our room was nice and spacious with a comfy bed. The casino had an array of slot machines which we thoroughly enjoyed, however the free cocktails served were average at best and definitely needed some improvement. Nonetheless, my travel companion and I were overall pleased with our stay and we would definitely consider staying at this hotel again for any of our future trips to Las Vegas.

Amazing property, though its at the end of the strip one has to travel little more but overall good”
Pros: Value for money, good facilities, big property, easy check in and check out, great skypod arena and view from the top. Super ride and thrilling skydrop. Cons: location is at the end of the strip, its little secluded from the activities of the famous strip. No shuttle from airport (although uber, taxi available and even bus no 108 comes close to hotel from airport)

Really good hotel for the price”
very nice hotel and very inexpensive (thanks to casino). there is a huge car parking at the hotel as at all other hotels in las vegas. the room was spacious, clean with very large and comfortable bed. staff was friendly and check-in was very fast. to check-out you should just leave the room nothing more - very easy free tower admission is a reason to stay at least for 1 day there if you want to see more and spend less money. location is not so good, because it is nothing interesting around hotel, but if you have a car it is ok.

On the wrong side of town”
We arrived here on our first day, in the late evening. The room was excellent and a really nice view. We were so tired of traveling for 24 hours that we decided to go to the Strip next day. However, the hotel was on the wrong site of the Strip. We wanted to walk overthere, but in the heat of Vegas, don't do it. Instead of the Strip we went to the shooting range across the hotel. In our road trip we would come back to Vegas another day so we left after having a view from the upper floor.

Great stay and good value”
We were a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews, but went for it anyway as the only other hotel at a similar price was Circus Circus and we didn't want to be with kids. Plus we are British and can put up with most things. Well I must say we didn't have any problems at all, quick check in with an upgrade on the 17th floor which was a non smoking floor. Arrived at the room, spacious bedroom, great view down the strip, could have done with a bigger wardrobe but we managed (my fault for bringing 3 suits)! Awesome views from the top of the tower and nice cocktails bit pricey as you would expect. Ok it was a bit far from the strip but we like walking and didn't have a problem walking out at night even round the corner to the 7/11. The concierge desk were most helpful, sorted us out with bus information and anything else we needed to know. The deuce bus is great 20 dollars for a 3day pass which will take you to the Mandalay Bay at one end and the North shopping malls at the other via Fremont Street, we used it a lot and it stopped right outside the north entrance to the hotel. Ate in Roxys which was ok but we preferred to eat out on the strip or Fremont. Big shout out to room service as I ordered champagne & strawberries for breakfast for my partners birthday. Neither of us had seen strawberries so large before and so juicy! Plus chocolate sauce and cream yummy!! Must say that both of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Thanks for a great time. Paul & Claire Norwich England Stayed March 2014, travelled as a couple

Decent Value Rooms, Location Manageable”
We stayed at the Stratosphere Casino and Tower Hotel for two nights. The rooms were decent in size and relatively clean. The rooms are obviously fairly dated however, and likewise with the casino. However for the price we paid we were fairly happy with the final product. The hotel is located away from the main hub of the strip, a good 40-50 minute walk away and we knew this when we booked. However, this can be overcomed by using the 24 hour bus service along the strip. Overall for the price we paid, we would consider staying again here in the future as a base for exploring Vegas.

Ideal location (Las Vegas Convention Center, North premium outlets, Main strip)”
First day the drain of the bathroom was not flowing well. But after pointing out, it was fixed immediately. The night view from the rooftop pool was fantastic! The towels were always prepared a lot, so we didn't need to ask for another ones even after taking showers a few times. The hotel is located a little far from the main strip(Bellagio hotel), but there is a bus stop right in front of the North Tower of the hotel so we could go to the strip within 10minutes. Also it was easier to go to Las Vegas North premium outlets by bus(SDX). From the hotel to the outlets, about 10~15 minutes is enough. If you want to go to Las Vegas Convention Center, you can take a SDX(10~15minutes) bus or go walking(25~30minutes).
