Christmas Vacation”
Our family, comprised of 3 smaller families, stayed here for our Christmas vacation and we absolutely loved it. It’s very homey. The rooms were super clean. The pool and the garden were a big plus, Ms. Lilian, her daughter Joy, and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and were always there to lend a hand. Breakfast was also good. They served fruits and the coffee was amazing. It was a bit hard to get there as the road leading to the resort was rocky. Overall, we’d be staying here again next time we visit family in Abra and would definitely recommend looking for a clean, quiet place to stay in Bangued. Thank you so much for the lovely souvenir!

Hello Althea, Thank you for staying with us. Reading your wonderful review gives us comfort in what we are doing. A couple of months ago we have purchased a coffee grinder. Before each breakfast we grind our premium “Italian” coffee beans (the same that we use in the Strutz Art Café) to prepare the best brewed coffee for our guests. As you mentioned the road. We wished the remaining uncemented part will be concreted soon, but it is in the hand of the authorities. Looking forward to welcoming you on your next stay in Bangued! We were 3 families attending our grand family reunion and were lucky to find this gem. Our kids and pamangkins had a great time bonding by the pool. Love the ambiance and the people who run the place were very friendly. Would probably book this place again on our next reunion. Highly recommended!

The resort is clean with serenity.. Where can you find a place where the owners, personally attend to your request? Only at Strutz surrounded by beautiful paintings in every room. Breakfast is satisfying with hearhy juice. Swimming pool is well maintained and take note, there is jacuzzi at the side. The best in Bangued right now. The place is very secured with spacious parking lot.

A world apart from the others...”
Booked this place hoping that it was as read on most reviews. Needed a clean, comfortable, and relaxing place away from the crowd as we know we would be very tired arriving after a long drive from Baguio City. Was exactly what we were looking for and more. It was like being in a totally different place but right in the heart of Bangued. The owners and their staff were very nice making sure you feel at home and secured. Gardens and pool looked immaculately clean so we were a bit sorry that we didn't have time to enjoy them as we we had to leave early the next morning after a well prepared breakfast.

The place is clean inside the room and outside. The garden and pool is refreshing. The room we stayed in is big, so with the bathroom. There is no screen door so mosquitoes can enter the room. The room does not have any electric water kettle so we have to ask from the caretakers for hot water for coffee or tea. No complimentary coffee nor tea for a very high rate for the room. The air conditioning unit in our room is not working properly. Since the place is not near the highway, sleep quality is good. No signage from the main road so we were lost initially.

Hello Filomena Thank you for having stayed with us and for writing a review…and for making our last name into a verb! Please allow me to reply to your comments. We do not have screen doors, for most of our guests use air conditioning and keep the door closed. A screen door would only be in the way. All windows are equipped with mosquito screens. The A/C in each room is a split type, it is well functioning and the size has been selected to fit the size of the room. Now, it is the hottest time in the year with maximum outside temperatures between 32 and 34 C. We followed up your remark and made a test at 2pm when it is really hot: the room can be cooled down to 21 C. We do provide each guest with complimentary bottled water each day. We offer freshly brewed coffee or tea as well as other drinks in the resort at little cost. Yes, to have signage at the road is certainly a good idea. We are currently working on putting up signage. Best Hotel in Bangued”
We had a very pleasant stay in Strutz Art Garden Resort. The room was very nice and spacious and the ambiance with the pool was very relaxing. Our breakfast was also very delicious. Ate Lelia (sp?) made sure we had everything we needed. She was very accommodating also especially when we requested to have our breakfast for dinner instead since we were leaving early that day. The only con I could think of was that it would be hard to get to if we didn't have a car since it is a bit far from the main road where the tricycles are. Other than that, everything was great!

BY FAR the best hotel in Bangued”
If you want to have a clean and comforting stay in bangued, this hotel is where you should be. Its behind the new hospital. The hotel is superb inside and out. Its like you’re not in bangued. Every corner is clean and neat and designed veeeeery nicely. The air conditioning cools up the room whole room as cool as want, and the washroom is 5 star nice and clean. The whole hotel is 5 star. Taking pictures at the pool is instagram worthy :) The staff were very nice and accommodating the owner. Everyone is courteous and kind. This is what makes this hotel resort the best out there in bangued BY FAR.

Great for outdoor/backyard/poolside activites e.g. picnic, grill, barbque 9. In house food provision can be pre arranged Cons: 1. Access road from the highway needs improvement (150 meters)

Staffs are super nice and considerate. We were scheduled to check out at 5AM to catch the earliest train at Zuoying station. Free breakfast is available at 7AM but they gave us packed breakfast upon check out. Staffs can also speak English very well. Room is superb! Had a great stay.

Amazing Service, Fantastic Experience ”
Our host her husband and staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. They helped us find information about the area and were above and beyond hospitable. The pool and Jacuzzi fantastic under the stars! I highly recommend the spent you if you're visiting Abra.
