Staff were very friendly. Surrounding very peaceful and cooling. This B&B just beside the river. Provide simple breakfast with 24 hrs coffee and tea. I really enjoyed it with my children.

Peaceful”
Very relaxing place. You can book accommodation online then book the river cruise from the B&B when you arrive or you could book from a boat owner (Tel: 01133871698). There is a coffee shop nearby about 5 mins drive away, open from 6am to midnight, food quite tasty. The B&B provides 24hrs coffee and tea at their cafe beside river. Breakfast was just a simple fried noodle with egg, plus bread. Room has aircon, fan and water heater.

When we arrived there was pineapple juice served! Very cosy place with nice staff and traditions. There is many options for trips to choose. We’ve chosen boat cruise and it was totally worth to go! Would definitely come back!

River safari central”
Good place to stay at the river. They have their own river safaris boats. Cottages are OK, Location on river with nice views excellent. River safari's are a bit pricey, but all operators of these tours are. We have 1 excellent guide during morning safari, but were not as lucky with the guide for the night safari. Saw many animals on both tours and it was a highlight of our trip to Sabah.

Above average”
The Greenview Bed and Breakfast was overall disappointing. The room was in disrepair and dirty. The bed was old and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they have a set menu with only one option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was simple and lacking in flavor. The positive aspects: the location was excellent because they are right on the Kinabatangan River. Several treks and river cruises were offered, which was great. We went on two river cruises and enjoyed them both.

Good budget choice in Sukau ”
This place reminded me of a somewhat dilapidated vacation cabin somewhere out in the boondocks which is what it is I suppose. If that is what you are expecting and you are here for the outdoor nature experience you will be OK. If you are wanting a comfortable room to hang out in you may be disappointed. There was hot water in the shower. Not too clean overall. AC worked well. The riverside restaurant area was the place to hang out. Breakfast terrible - a fried egg on top of cold noodles. You could buy cold sodas and small bottles of water here. There is a small store in the "town" that was closed when we went on Sunday. Absolutely no beer sales so brought some and drank it warm. I suppose we could have asked to put it in the cooler. We booked the room only and paid for the river tours we wanted-two afternoon tours and this is much cheaper than the package deal - about half the price.

SGBB has a great location on the banks of the Kinabatangan river and is a short walk away from Sukau village where there is a small provision shop. If you're looking for food, you'll need to walk in the opposite direction for about 15-20 mins to reach a small Malay restaurant. The staff and service are excellent and will cater to all your needs. The units are connected by an interesting boardwalk and are surrounded by trees with a variety of birds and animals. Ants seem to be a problem in the units so you shouldn't leave food around. I found the water heater difficult to use - there are 3 separate controls with no instructions and if you get the order wrong, it sounds like it's about to explode! The fan is sufficient as it gets quite cool at night.

Love the very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a problem. Basic accommodation as expected in this remote location.Very comfortable room and awesome air-con. Better than every "high class" package option”
This lovely family run B&B can only be recommended... They welcome you with a smile, have nice and super clean rooms where you can easily feel well... The Best is that they care of every single trevellar and not only want to sell their fixed packages like other more expensive hotels. You can come to sukau on your own (for example also late at nigth) and book tours right up on arrival and on your own needs. even if you fell like skipping one tour, it's no problem!!! Best service ever!!! And the tours are top... we even saw the pygmy elephants... Just amazing... If you go to kinabatangan, go with greenview...

Great place for a river safari down the Kinabatangan River!”
Only stayed one night but had an amazing stay because of their riverboat safari down the Kinabatangan River! We did the night time and morning boat rides where we saw so many animals! Monkeys, crocodiles, birds, and even a few wild orangutans! The food was okay and the room was rather rustic but did the trick!

Cute,isolated river retreat.”
Not 5 star but exceptional for a unique experience deep in the outer reaches of Borneo.Rustic cabins with hot showers, bottled water & clean sheets so you have the basics. Riverside eatery which provides free coffee& tea all day .A typical Malaysian type meal is offered at evenings for a mere 10 ringits.Sunrise and sunset river cruises offered for 60 ringits.Saw some proboscis monkeys, spoonbill herons and a cobra in a tree. Special river tours to see pygmy elephsnts but cost more.250 ringits.ovely people who run this BandB. Its a bit remote to get there but well worth a couple of days.

Just okay”
Air conditioning didn't really work because they weren't getting enough power. Room was clean. Disappointed in the food. The "simple dinner" is mostly white rice. I asked for vegetarian, and instead of adding extra vegetables, they just gave me less food. Not really close to other food options so you are kinda stuck.
