The place is nice, cool and clean. The people too. Close to a supermarket and a bridge that takes you to South Brisbane, the CBD and the "fake beach" also known as the free public pools of Brisbane. Escellent to travel solo, you can make friends during breakfast or at the free food nights that are held some days weekly. The only bad thing is that they close the kitchen at night.

It was awesome!! Not only did it provide free breakfast but also a bbq night on the roof!! I met so many beautiful kind friends there!! Strongly recommend!!! Also there’s coles n nice restaurants nearby. Just 5 mins walk. So worth it. Don’t hesitate booking it!!!

The cleanest hostel ive stayed in! Never dirty dishes, reception and kitchen open til late! Was awesome. Also airport shuttle runs frequently and is only 15bucks!

Great value backpacker”
Good location, Reasonable price! I really had a great time at summer backpacker. and I decided to extend my stay there. Good place for stating your journey in Australia. After a week in Brisbane, I moved to Bundaberg to get the 2nd-year visa. I definitely will consider staying here when I come back.

It ia a good place to stay if u want to explore brisbane really quickly. Just enough for our needs, just a good place to sleep, very nice staff and love the dog that visited. Very accessible place, bus station is just in front of the place and like 10 to 15 minutes bus to southbank and queenstreet mall... Thank u

It is very conveniently located and easy to access everywhere. The only downside was the small no. of bathrooms compared to the no. of occupants. Social events every night means you never get bored.

Could benefit from more fridges in the kitchen as there seems to be too much food packed in and not enough space for everyone’s things. I opted to eat out instead of cooking in the hostel.

Pretty great hostel, clean, beds super comfy, wifi works fine for admin stuff but not enough to watch Netflix. Hot nice clean showers, the kitchen it's kind of small and it gets full fast but it has everything you need. Overall no complains.

Clean room, friendly crews, room and lobby with air-conditioner. It is great and quiet, good for a stay. In an addition, there are some events sometimes such as bbq, night bar, some activities are free also. Actually I want to stay 1 more week however want to try a new accommodation.

Good value hostel”
Stayed during covid 19 with interstate/international border restrictions. Some of the dorms have been changed in to private rooms due to lower guests and to comply with social distancing. Therefore the value to obtain a private room with bathroom was good. Room was quiet, had good air conditioning and kept fairly clean. The rooftop area has some storage and a rusty bbq that could do with some attention. Communal kitchen was tidy.
