Superb hotel, amazing buffet, AMAZING place!”

U Sunsuri Phuket is an amazing hotel and by far the most outstanding hotel I have stayed at during all of my stays in Thailand. The professionalism of the staff and facilities really shine through everywhere you go. We were fortunate enough to get upgraded to a suite for the duration of our stay and the rooms were amazing but all the rooms have great views in this beautiful setting. The location is great if you want somewhere that's a little more peaceful than some of the more chaotic parts of Phuket, it's a short walk down the road to the beautiful Naiharn beach and if you have a scooter, the town and even more secluded beautiful beaches are all within your reach. The buffet breakfast was by far the best I've experienced with great variety and a super quick cook to order service. The restaurant which amazingly never seemed busy had top quality meals and the mushroom bruschetta is something you have to try! The golf buggy service was always quick to arrive and transfer services available were of a great variety. The staff all had great english and the girls at reception were able to organise flowers and candles to the room for a romantic surprise. The facilities at U Sunsuri Phuket are exceptional and the pool and hillside setting make for an amazing stay I believe for anyone, whether you're there on business or pleasure. All these things made our stay at the U Sunsuri Phuket the best hotel experiences ever in Thailand and one of the reasons I have already recommended it to all my friends and family. 10/10!

Affordable, comfortable, secure, & relaxing!”

My 13 old daughter and I traveled to Thailand alone and wanted something off the beaten path of clubs and heavy tourist areas. Something somewhat secluded, but with access to beach. The U Sunsuri Phuket Hotel was the answer to my desires. All of the wonderful reviews prior to my stay were on point. The staff was very attentive, room service was great! Room were clean as well all other common areas, pool was very nice, and the gym and spa were at my finger tips. Withing walking distance there were fruit stands and more. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and can be served any time of the day at any location. So whether you want breakfast in the room or pool side...or perhaps breakfast for dinner, you can have it at the Sunsuri. Taxis are close and inexpensive if wanting to travel to Patong and other areas; however, we hired a private car from the hotel almost every day. Our driver, Mr. Son, was the best!!! We had a blast and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Phuket.

You cannot go wrong with U Sunsuri Phuket. Advantage: 1. Location: - 5-min walk to Nai Harn beach: Needless to say, Nai Harn beach is the most beautiful day-time beach in Nai Harn. Crystal clear water, white sand beach. Quiet & relax. - 5-min ride to Phromthep Cape with breath-taking scene. - 15-min to Big Buddha, the biggest Buddha in Phuket with scenic scene over the whole island. 2. Impeccable service: You definitely cannot go wrong with the service at U Sunsuri Phuket. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They will go out of their way to make sure things can be done for you. My friends had a 7 a.m. flight and although the breakfast bar doesnt open until 6.30 a.m., the staff was able to arrange to have breakfast box ready for my friends at 5.30 a.m. And all that was done at 11p.m. the night before. I highly recommend U Sunsuri for your stay at Phuket. The only thing might get in your way in considering this hotel is that its quite far from the nightlife beach (Patong), about 20km. But renting a bike will solve the problem. I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel again!!

Simply Restful and delightful”

The experience at Sunsuri was incredible. I had arrived early as I had taken the earliest flight into Phuket. The arranged pickup was waiting for me upon leaving the departure hall and a cold towel and a bottle of water was offered when I got to the vehicle. Upon arriving at the hotel I was whisked away to the room in a buggy for an in room check in. Staff made sure to explain to me where the facilities and the options available if I wanted to move around the area. The room was more than adequate with a large balcony facing the pool and the lake just beyond the main building of the hotel. The beach could be seen in the distance. Going between the room and the main building was either a quick call to the lobby to send up the buggy or a walk down the steps to the main lobby. The balcony included a large day bed and ceiling fan. Staff were attentive and bothered to recognise the faces of the guests. I noticed that they played with the kids in the restaurant keeping them occupied while parents went to pick up food during breakfast or just to allow the parents to have some time to eat. This was a pleasant surprise as I have seen that in some other hotels staff have been discouraged by management from doing so. The result is normally crying children while parents eat and irritated guests who have to put up with the noise. The restaurant staff also made an effort to learn my preferred drink and during meals would smile and ask if I wanted to have my usual. The hotel faces a lake and is 15 min walk to the beach. If one were lazy to walk one could wait for the scheduled hotel bus to the beach. As Naiharn beach is located in a cove, the only people there are those in the area.

Best hotel ever”

U sunsuri is located at 5 min. walking distance from Naiharn beach. (And they offer free bicycle rental.) In front of U sunsuri, there is small lake. And U sunsuri is on the small hill, so it has great view. Their check-in/out policy is very unique(24hrs use of room). Therefore you can stay more time. U sunsuri has great pools with bar. (Main pool is infinity pool.) Restaurant offers thai/international food from morning until night as reasonable price. Sooth spa offers various spa programs as reasonable price also, but it's not quite big so reservation is required. The great strength of U sunsuri is friendly and attentive staffs. We were impressed by their consideration and sincerity during the stay.

Great place to stay in Rawai!”

I stayed at the Sunsuri for 5 nights during a recent vacation to Thailand. The hotel is located in Rawai on Phuket, about a half mile from the beautiful Nai Harn beach. The rooms are slightly dated, but large and very nice. The pool complex is lovely and includes a number of different, connected pools - the whole complex is large enough that I doubt it ever gets too crowded. The pool includes a small water slide and a 3 or 4 meter diving platform. My room had a view of the sea and included a gigantic marble-tiled bath that had a large soaking tub, separately enclosed rain shower, separately enclosed toilet, sink area, and dressing area. My room came with free breakfast -- the food at breakfast wasn't great. That would be my only minor complaint about my experience at the Sunsuri. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Note that rooms at this hotel are spread across a number of buildings built into a mountainside. Getting to certain rooms in certain buildings can require a bit of walking, several flights of stairs and/or elevator rides. Anyone not up for that should request a room as close to the main building as possible.

Excellent Service, Beautiful Resort, Peaceful Area”

We spent 3 days in the resort and didn't want to leave the room! We were wowed by the excellent and genuine service from the staff, and attentive care can be the thing to make your trip, and the staff of this hotel definitely nailed it. We had buggy service to and from our rooms, very friendly and helpful staff to help us plan our transport and itinerary. The resort was 8 months old so everything was still brand new and very clean. The interior decoration was very luxurious and cosy, the whole resort was very neat and well-kept. The rooms all had a balcony facing the pool, which is another star feature of the resort. The pool had an 'infinity' pool wall, and even a slide and diving board. The bar beside the pool also served drinks and food if you ever want to rest in between dips in the pool. The rooms were spacious, very nicely furnished, and had all the amenities you need. It was so comfortable that just resting in the room can be very therapeutic. The Naiharn beach was a 5 minute walk away from the resort. If you're looking for a less crowded beach, and are okay with the absence of water sports and activities, then this beach is perfect for you. There are also some restaurants and massage places on the way to the beach. The only downside is the location of this resort in relation to everything else in Phuket. Located at the southern most tip of Phuket, it is an hour drive from the airport which is at the north, and rather far from town areas (Jungceylon and Phuket Town) which are in the middle. It's almost impossible to flag a meter taxi at the vicinity so calling cabs had to be arranged by the hotel. They have scheduled transport to town areas, which cost 200-250 baht per person, but are very limited in timing, so it can be quite restrictive. So if your idea is to go for the nightlife, shopping and beach activities in Phuket, then this hotel's location isn't very convenient. However, if you're okay with spending on taxi fares, then everything else is perfect.

Extremely NIce Hotel”

We spend 2 night at U Sunsuri Hotel to celebrate our Honeymoon and also birthday , It was really really nice, the best resort i never stay before . Their 24Hour concept are really good service and customer minded management, We check in ard 10pm and we was allowed to check out 10pm , base on thier what time you check in and what time you can check out For breakfast also whenver and whever you wish , they will fulfill your wish , of course the variety and quality of food are really best . near by the hotel , ard 10 min you can go to really clear beach and you also can borrow bicycle from hotel , of course free and another nice point is free mineral water when you go out from hotel . but there is 1 thing that make our trip dissapointed is their SPA , my wife order a 90min massage and 60min facial total 150min treatment but the whole treatment were end within 90min , as we didnt bring out any swatch so we only realise when we finish and saw the clock outside . and the SPA price comapare to their skill and service are no worth , i hope U Sunsuri management can look into this point to make your Hotel into perfect . Anyway , thank you so much for make us a really memorable and enjoyed short Holiday We will definately go back to visit in short future .

My holidays at Sunsuri Phuket Hotel could not be better, it is the mostly amazing hotel i have ever been, from the staffs to the location.All staffs were very kinda to my kids, incredible how they understand and helped all my needs cause i was traveling with 2 small children. Would like to say thanks and thanks for Ms.Nina in special ,kids club and to front reception.Believe me, they are the Best!

U Sunsuri Phuket is a nice & comfort hotel to stay”

We were satisfied the stay in U Sunsuri Phuket. The staffs are friendly & smart there. I sent emails before the stay for asking some questions (like special cake arrangement for bro, free car park etc) and they did reply me prompty. The hotel is new with nice enviornment since it's nearby a lake & only 5 mins walk to the beach (but the beach is not suitable for swim due to the big wave). They have 3 swimming pools and you can only stay in hotels to enjoy your holiday. So I will recommend friends to stay in this hotel if they go Phuket.

Honeymoon ”

My Husband and I had the a remarkable time which we give a lot of credit to Sunsuri. When we checked in we were greeted with juices and snacks. We were then told that the hotel upgraded our room for no extra cost! The upgrade was one of the highlights of our entire trip. The facilities were beautiful and we ate breakfast at the hotel everyday (full buffet with incredible food). The beach was just a short walk away with good food/drink options. We rented a chair and umbrella everyday we were at the beach! Sunsuri made our honeymoon very special and something we will never forget. The ocean pool villa was incredible and it made it hard to leave our room with the best view! Thank you Sunsuri!

Holiday”

We stayed in August 2014 for another week after holidaying for two weeks in July 2014. Resort location ideal near a lake and walking distance to Naiharn Beach. Efficient airport transfers by car. So many friendly resort staff to thank. Special mention to reception particularly "Molly" for kind assistance making a memorable and happy stay for us, also to "Nan" for a wonderfully warm welcome which was appreciated on our return. Sunsuri has great breakfast/dining facilities managed by "Kul".Well planned swimming pools and gym. Pleasant atmosphere. We will delight in returning again.

Great 2nd time stay at a fantastic hotel”

This was our 2nd time staying at the U Sunsuri Phuket, and we were not disappointed. It combines great Thai service and luxury modern amenities you would expect from a hotel of this stature. They had a log that it was our 2nd stay and even sent a welcome back cake to our room...nice touch. The room is clear, 10 min stroll to the beach, modern concept pool which is equally good for kids and adults. To top it off the breakfast buffet is excellent. Highly recommended for some relaxation time

We absolutely loved U Sunsuri Phuket. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was very big and had a lovely view. I can not say enough good things about this hotel. We will definitely be staying here during our next trip to Phuket.

best stay ever!”

when we first arrive, we were given a tour of the hoel and the facilities of the room. the staff sure makes u feel like a royalty. there were fresh fruits in the room, we even get to choose the fragrance of our soap! the room was clean and spacious, pure luxurious. and the staff was attentive to every single details. the food at the restuarant is very good, and the free bicycle that they provided allowed us to explore the areas well. we even cycled up to a cape to view the sunset(totally not recommended unless you're fit, as there's a lot of slope), and to rawai for not-to-be-missed superbly fresh seafood. dont forget to explore around the hotel to try some cheap local and yummy food. Hotel is quiet enough, but if you're looking for the kindof nightlife like patong, naiharn is not the place. the beach at naiharn is awesome though, not crowded and soft clean sand. deffinitely a must for beach lovers! you will not regret your stay here. will deffinitely be back again!!! :))))

Fantastic resort near Naiharn beach”

We checked in at 8 p.m. at night and the view of the pool seen from the balcony was fantastic -- so good that it felt surreal. The room is neat, big and the interior setting gave sort of a Middle Eastern feel although I learned later that the U hotel & resort group is run by rich Thai-Chinese people. The pool has different depths, a diving board and even a fun slide. The breakfast is absolutely good -- a variety of choices from Chinese and Thai to Western. I loved the custom-made Chinese noodle soup, in particular. You can walk to the beach in five minutes although we went to the resort during the monsoon season but I would love to come back some day. One thing that I didn't like the massage service. I paid 1040 baht for one-hour oil massage but the masseuse was totally unprofessional and insincere. She was the worst-ever masseuse I have ever encountered in my life. I hope the hotel replaces her soon. Overall, the U Sunsuri Hotel is absolutely recommendable.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Nice Breakfast”

This is a good hotel. Room is clean and big, staff is friendly even will accompany you to your room and explain the feature to you on the first day. This hotel is located at hill side so the view is nice. The breakfast is extremely good! There was a pool in the center of the hotel and also gym and play room for children. This hotel is near to naiharn beach. However this hotel is far from Patong and Phuket Town so it is not so convenience if you want to travel to that location.

Relaxing holiday”

We loved our stay in Sunsuri and did not want to leave. The villa we stayed in was fantastic in many ways. Very quiet, beautiful design, all brand-new and very comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi and the pool. We did not mind the many steps as it was a nice daily exercise. Our kids very much enjoyed the slide and the jumping platform. Beautiful clean beach, just a short stroll from the hotel with excellent and reasonably priced restaurants around. Thank you Sunsuri, we will be back!

Great stay”

U sunsuri was a comfortable , clean and service minded experience. Quick check-in by smiling staff, and a golf cart up to the room. The hotel is built on a steep hillside and we lived on the top floor. The Superior rooms at the hotel is divided between two complexes. One of witch has an elevator and not the other not. Therefor if you mind stairs, have a stroller or baby carrage, you should ask for a room in the building with an elevator. The breakfast buffet was wonderful but otherwise nothing exciting to tell about the food in hotel restaurants. Overall great value for the money compared with other hotels in the area like The Royal Yatch Club.
