After spending extra 30mins going the wrong way, finally reached the hotel safe and sound... Being literally right next to JR Nara Station, it was super easy to find! What a relief! I've stay at the Super Hotel Lohas @ Tokyo Station before, so I knew this JR Nara one was going to be cosy and comfortable too. The staff were friendly, greeting me with birthday wishes and I got to pick all 3 types of welcome deer-shaped cookies. The room is sparkling clean and in good condition. But it warms the heart when I see the staff leaving a birthday card, hand folded paper crane, and a artistically hand-drawn welcome note on the room's writing desk. :) Another one of the reasons why I picked this hotel was that that they have a natural hot spring onsen within the building too, which I took a nice long soak in, before selecting a firmer pillow from a range of available options, then snacked on some chocolate Mr. Donuts to end my 1 night in Nara.

What a wonderful place to stay at in Nara! The locations is perfect--just steps away from Nara JR Station, plenty of eateries, and sights, surrounded by adorable wandering deer! The hotel was immaculately clean! For breakfast you can choose from a delicious organic array of fulfilling dishes. I really felt that this hotel tried their very best to accomodate foreign visitors. I had a VERY positive experience here. Thank you so much Juki at the Front Desk for helping me out. I look forward to coming here again!

Best hotel we stayed in japan ”
This hotel was directly outside the train station, staff were super friendly and so helpful and even had a translator device when we got stuck with the language barrier. We were upgraded into a bigger room as there was some available for the same price. The hotel was clean and so secure with number codes to get into your rooms. The onsen was so good after a long day. Definitely stay here again and definitely recommend. Best hotel we stayed in, in japan!

Simply Brilliant Hotel”
The staff very thoughtfully placed 2 paper cranes of the Japanese flag and my country's flag on the desk. That was very touching and thoughtful. The hotel is located right next to JR Nara station, but oddly, there doesn't seem to be a fully sheltered walkway due to gaps in the roof. The breakfast has great variety, although it is more of the typical Japanese kind and not western-style kind of buffet. The onsen is also quite small, but I don't think it will pose a problem if you are checking in late. Take note that there is no key given, you are instead given a passcode printed on a receipt and you have to enter the passcode on the keypad of your door. Check out is also not necessary, you can simply walk out of the hotel. Lastly, you can store your luggage in the hotel after you check out.

One of the best I have ever stayed in Japan”
Clean room, good service, nice breakfast, friendly English speaking staff, awesome hot spring/public bath and good location. What more do you want? A lot of good restaurants nearby the hotel. Walk for 10-15 minutes and you will reach Nara Park. During your walk, you can even see a lot of shops and restaurants that you will want to try including famous mochi shop, Nakatanidou. Want to go to other places like Kyoto for a day trip? This hotel is literally connected to the JR station. Reasonable price for all these just make this one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in Japan.

The best Hotel experienced in Japan”
Very Easy to find, it's just beside JR Nara Station. Hassle Free check-in, the staff are very polite. The room is superbly clean. They welcome you with an Origami Paper Flag (PH) from which nationality are you from, with a warm welcome message. Very cool! Kept that as a Souvenir. It was January when I checked-in, the blankets provided keeps me warm. You can even choose any type of Pillow at the lobby for a great sleep. They clean the Room every day when you're out. Breakfast are delicious!I am fully energized on my trip with the bfast.The Natural HotSpring is amazing! Yukata is provided, very clean. Perfect for that winter days, you can enjoy inside & outside onsen. Staffs are very polite, helped me write Japanese letters for the album that I'm looking guided me directions. On check-out they will give you freebies, a seed & a deer cookie symbol of Nara. I'd love to go back here & other Lohas branch. Overall great accommodation with a budget Solo Traveler rate. Arigatou Goizamasu!

Highly recommended hotel!!”
The location is perfect, right next to the Nara JR station, and very close to a big supermarket, convenient stores, restaurants and souvenir shops. The hot spring is great! And also the breakfast! Everything is clean. The staff greets you very well! About 15-20min walk to Nara Park, with lots of shops along the way.

Very friendly and helpful staffs, with super good service, I like their smiling face. They speak good english. Just located beside Jr Nara Station. There is indoor and outdoor onsen, very relaxing after a tired trip. Clean and cozy hotel with bath amenities.. There is a seven eleven store beside the hotel, bus station opposite to the hotel, walking distance to nara deer park, with lots of shops, souvenir stores, drug stores and eateries along the street. Quick check-in, self checkout because they use digital door lock, with passcode. Will recommend it to friends and surely will come back again.

Loved the convenience, amenities, breakfast, hot springs, & helpful staff! ”
My husband and I stayed here for a night and loved everything about it. We are American tourists and really appreciated how helpful the staff was. Room was cute and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious, hot springs were a nice treat, and the etiquette instructions in English were really helpful. Being so close to the Nara station was convenient for catching trains too. Very reasonable price. I definitely recommend staying here regardless of why you’re in Nara!

At first, we couldn't find the hotel until we realized that it was so near to Nara Ststion. Excellent location and the room was so comfy. The room was reasonably price. We regretted for not staying longer in this hotel. Will definitely be our first choice if we come to Nara again.

Bang for buck. ”
We got a free upgrade so the room was way larger than expected. Even though it's a rather large hotel it really felt they tried to add personal touches everywhere where possible. From arrival until departure we felt welcome. Location wise it's next to the train/bus station which is ideal. Both for arrival/departure as for exploring Nara. The free complimentary breakfast is a nice touch and has both Western and Japanese options. If you come early you can sit at the window and see Nara come to life.

Pro:very clean, good facilities and accessories(body soap, shampoo, etc), easy access from Nara Station, and a great spa. Contro: breakfast good for those who like Japanese dishes but not enough for those who like o have acontinental or Ametican ones.

Excellent location”
The hotel is connected to the 2F of the JR Nara Station and is a walking distance to Nara Park. There were lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room was clean but small as expected. My friend and I enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and especially loved the pastries. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating (and even lent us their clothes iron). We didn't like the long single (bubbly/lumpy and high) pillow in our room but toughed it out since we only stayed for one night. Overall, we had a good stay here and would book again when we go back to Nara.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel is right next to JR Nara station but isn’t noisy. It’s a short 30 min walk or so to the nearest attractions. It even has a bath house. Room is quite small and basic but nothing unexpected for the price. Great value with the bath house included.

We didn't expect such a hotel in Nara with hot spring and hearty breakfast. Extremely good location. Don't need to carry the luggage around the city. Will definitely recommend it to friends.
