After travelling for 5 1/2 weeks we had a night in Sydney before our flight home the next day and we chose Rydges Sydney airport hotel, we walked straight out of the airport and across the road to the hotel.. The convenience was absolutely perfect.. Jet lagged from a 10hr flight, and needed sleep we had the most comfortable bed and slept really well. Service at the hotel was great, the next morning we went to the Buffett breakfast which was really good, lots to choose from and all food was fresh, and drink choice was plenty. Check out was easy and simple and I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would totally stay here again.

We stayed at the Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Airport for a week in early September 2016. The checked in and checked out was swift and the reception staff was friendly. The room is spacious and clean and the bathroom is functional with good pressure shower head, However, the housekeeping need some improvement as there are days where the soiled towels were left on the sink and the used cups were not washed and put away. The hotel is within walking distance to the nearest train station and 2 stops away from Central Station. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Sydney.

I travel 40-45 weeks a year and spend more time in hotels than at home. I can be hard to please at times. The Branksome is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in for a very long time. The room was huge and spotless and the staff was very friendly. I only wish I had more time to spend there. The room has anything you could want from a very nice bathroom, motorized drapes and blackout drapes. full kitchen, washer/dryer, loads of closet space, onsite resturant, very friendly staff and is close to Sydney airport. I could see the drive only being a minute or 2 to the hotel but traffic is heavy all the time. No need to worry though as transfer from airport and to airport are only 7 usd each way via Super Shuttle. If you need a great place in Sydney this would be the place. I will stay again next time I am in Sydney.

The hotel is very convenient to the Sydney airport domestic terminal and the domestic terminal train station. It's only about a 15 minute walk. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant on the penthouse level was a great place to enjoy Happy Hour while watching the planes land. Although the planes come quite close, the hotel is quiet. A lot of thought has been given to the design of the hotel and its furnishings, and this makes it fun to stay here. The price was also very reasonable.

The Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport is a lovely hotel that offers everything you need for a short or long term stay. I stayed overnight before flying overseas. The hotel offers a 24hr room service which was fantastic for my late check in. The food was great at a reasonable price and they also offer a shuttle bus service to both the Domestic and International Airport at a reasonable price of $8.00 aud. This took the stress from hailing down a taxi in the early hours of the morning. I was informed by the taxi driver who had dropped me off at the hotel that booking a taxi for a morning pickup would be useless as taxi's will refuse to take the job because of the short distance between the hotel and both airports. Hence, why the shuttle bus is such an asset for the hotel. I recommend the Sydney Travelodge Airport Hotel and will be staying here again in the future.

Came across this hotel because of a great deal I found online! It's close to the airport and the shuttle service it provided was very convient. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the room! It was very clean and well put together decoration wise. The staff was very nice and the view of the city was great too. The subway into downtown was a somewhat close and straight forward walk. 10/10 will stay at this hotel again next time I go to Sydney!

We have stayed at nearly all the airport hotels in Sydney and this has to be the best. I had only an overnight stay with my young daughter and instantly wished I had booked more nights! The staff are very friendly, the food is amazing! and the beds super super comfy. The whole hotel is super modern with amazing attention to detail and decor. Although the Pullman feels like a hotel for only those that are hip and young (cue most of their advertising campaigns) the hotel welcomes and caters for all travelers - including someone like me with a 12 month old baby who appreciates the modern luxury of a funky hotel. This is a go to now anytime we have to stay near the airport in sydney. Highly recommend!

Mercure Sydney Airport Hotel is a tranditional hotel, and it is a kind of old. The room is small and smells a little bit bad. The lotion of Mercure Sydney Airport Hotel is very good to guest who wants catch up early moring flight. I just stayed one night there, checked in 11 pm and checked out 6 am day after. But it was very hard to book a taxi, probably the hotel was too close to airport. I almost waited for more than 15 min to get one.

The location is only less than 10 mins drive from the airport. But that aside - the most satisfying are how comfortable as a whole this place is. From the bed to the pillows to the quilt to even the towels that are soft and fluffy - even the basic amenities are all there; coffees, hairdryer, kettle etc. There's an awesome pizza place 5-min down the road. However their restaurant are at a reasonable price if you choose to be lazy and just rest. Warning - transit only. Its too far from the city. The rest is paradise for transit.

The Holiday Inn at Sydney Airport is an excellent hotel in close proximity to the airport. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My first impression of the room was how genuinely clean and fresh it smelt. The lack of artificial air freshener smell was a great relief! The bed was very comfortable with a choice of high quality firm or soft pillows.The bathroom was roomy and the shower was excellent.The room was very quiet and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. Room service,the bar and restaurant were all of a high standard, with accommodating and friendly staff. There is a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, which runs every 20 mins. A short walk around the block from the hotel, I was surprised to come across a beautiful old park and the old ethnic town centre of Mascot, which I found really interesting. There were a couple of good coffee house and eating places full of locals. I thoroughly recommend this hotel especially when in transit and in need of a good night's sleep.

My visit to Sydney was for a business meeting at Sydney Airport. I needed to drive to Sydney and stay the previous night at minimum cost to my volunteer organisation, so a location near the M5 tunnel with free parking and a bus to the airport was ideal. The room was comfortable enough and close to essential facilities, though I could not operate the TV in my room. Shared bathroom and shower were better than expected. Not luxury, but excellent value for money and fully met my needs.

Have been to Sydney many times but find I always do the same thing in regards to Hotel accommodation as I always pick one in the CBD. This time thought I would try a hotel in Mascot The "Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport" & glad I did. For me this hotel is all about location location, location. It was a great hotel to try & of a high standard as I have frequented many hotels both in Australia and overseas. Clean ... Large room ... Good view of Airport plus quiet. I was easily able to walk from Airport terminal ( Domestic ) in approximately 10 mins a little more getting there as I didn't know the route & there was allot of construction going on. Once you get going though you will see the large re Stamford sign as you walk out of the entrance to the airport ( Its easy to see & you will not get lost which is reassuring, when asking for directions initially airport staff should be able to point you in the right direction as its a major landmark). From the Hotel to the train station too is an easy 10 to 15 min walk. The mascot station is considered not to be an Airport station so its not expensive to get to the city from there. If you need a quick feed .. Mc Donald's .. KFC .. etc its very close, just point yourself back to the airport and turn slightly left (If in doubt just ask reception) There are also a few small restaurants dotted round the place. All in all I would stay at this hotel again the price was similar to equivalent hotels in the city however instead of having to pay $ 18.00 pre person for the train from Airport station you end up only paying about $ 4.10 with an opal card from Mascot Station, it didn't seem to take long from there to get to the city .. just a couple of stations. Hope this info helps a similar traveller.

From the moment I called Hussain and his cleaner were fantastic, we were in dire need of an early check in with my 1 yr old and suitcases while my partner took the rental car back. Called Hussain who had already organised our room hours before check in and set us up with the codes, he thoughtfully set us up with a spare mattress for my baby (they explicitly state they do not provide cots/portacots) and gave us a ground floor room which was also a blessing! The lady that cleans the units checked to see if we needed anything and organised Hussain to take us to the airport at 630 in the morning! He was there early and even procured a car seat for my child. It was a 2.8km drive to the airport that took 10-15 and would have cost us $25 in a taxi (I checked all of this out before booking) to which we would have been stressing wouldn't be on time! These owners went above and beyond what they had to for us and we are super grateful! I don't know what it is with some of the negative feedback on here but honestly they are the most affordable and pleasant little units! And 2.8km is very close to the airport!!!! Yes we could hear the people upstairs, but you'd get that just about anywhere! It's on the highway so of course there was traffic noise... My only complaint is that the rooms aren't very dark due to the lighting outside but we had that at our other accomodations too so it didn't bother us too much. Looking at it from the outside its not much but inside is modern, practical and easy to access! It's a 3 min walk to the train station and kfc is on the next corner, there are also other local restaurants that deliver :) They made our long long journey so easy, uncomplicated and stress free!!! So appreciative! I hope your stay is as lovely as ours was! As far as affordable accomodation in Sydney goes this one blew it out of the ball park!
