Great Value for Money”

It wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t as bad as what others said in their reviews. Maybe they were expecting something like a 5 star hotel in a hostel. One of the cheapest hostels in Sydney and you also get to save on transpo since everything is walking distance. It is regularly cleaned everyday. Facilities great. My favorite are the staff. Special mention to Diego, Angelo, and Bryan!

Comfy room, good location and good value of money”

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and provided enough plugs on each bed for us to charge phones/laptops. It's just..there's this one toilet unit which was clogged for the whole night until the next morning so we can only use the remaining 2 units for the entire floor. But it should be fine after it's all cleaned up. The staff was really nice and shared us a map of attractions around Sydney.

A selfish lady used two lockers for herself. So another lady couldn't use a locker. It looks like she was devastated. I felt sad to see it. I hope this hostel says to everyone "Don't use two lockers. Just use one locker." You can stay here 13 dollars sometimes. But low price means there are more selfish guests than caring guests.

The 12 girls dorm was really nice! Very comfy bed and spacious room for personal belongings.”

Best thing is that there are power points for each bed, a mirror behind the door, and real nice beddings. However the first impression was not good. Common areas looked messy. I'd wanted to just leave and find somewhere else to stay before I checked into the room. However, the room was comfy, and the bathroom design and facilities were handy, I have no complaints.

Great location”

Conveniently located--close to public transport, parks, shopping, eating places, Chinatown. Room (one bunk bed for two people) was a bit cramped but clean. Simple breakfast included as a bonus. Showers and toilets were clean--showers could use more hooks for hanging clothes.

Great location in CBD. Bathrooms and dorm rooms could be cleaner and the a/c is non existent. Staff English is not very good but were friendly

the price is not cheaper for a hostel we got like this, the location was good, super near the town hall train, just 1 min walk. but others is really bad, the room its like never clean up a month, reallty dirty, we can bring shoes to room so 1 people have 3-4 shoes in they bed, the bed that i just sleep have a big dirty sheet and i need to change by me even, im not the person who make the linen dirty, no air con in the room, last 4 days its hot like hell, people in the room only allow you to use lamp till 22:00 PM after that, they will shut the lamp, the toilet really bad, have a lot flying animals, the bathroom dont have any trash bin and the shower is in up there, so u can not only take bath, need to shower your hair, and really small to take a bath, locker was big enough for small lugage, have washing machine but u need to buy the detergent, have movie place, kitchen and you can cook, but over all so messy and have lift but so late the lift. this hostel only good in location

This hotel is near train station and shop but lack clean drinking water serving. Every thing is great.

Don't stay here”

The worst hostel I've ever stayed in, and I've been to many hostels all over the world. The place is nothing like the photos, or rather, it is as it is in the photos, but add a lot of dirt and everything old. The bathrooms were to run away, the cleanliness was missing, there are many people living in the hostel, which makes everything strange. Worse, last night they mistakenly made my bed with new sheets and everything I had in my bed was literally scattered around the room. The hostel staff did nothing but apologize, and it was with the help of one of the people in the room that I found my stuff. With so much on offer in Sydney, stay somewhere else.

Beds are super comfy, staff really nice. Drawback is that somebody comes to the room everyday at 10 am to sweep and spray the floor and does it is a super loud manner,bumping against beds and metal railings... waking everybody up.

Good location ”

Everything quite good. Appreciate for serving coffee and tea all day. Provide milk ,corn flakes ,bread, oats during breakfast. I like the TV room!

16-bed dorm”

It was amazing. The staff was friendly and the hostel clean. It is really cheap compared what you get. Mostly every day there is an Event on the rooftop. The kitchen is clean and with enough facilities to cook. Love that place.

Noisy and unclean”

Could be more considerate, not too noisy after 11pm. We stay at backpackers hostel to have a quick rest for the night. If couldn’t sleep at all??

Good Location but inconsiderate guests”

Location is marvelous! Dorm space was good but it was pitch dark when lights were out! Cleaning staff was seen working a few times between 6am to 10:30pm. However, with small toilet sinks, clogged drainage, tight kitchen space and inconsiderate guests in an older building, the place can't be kept clean for long. Some guests went crazy night of Lunar New Year which was felt even at 1 am! Reception staff are mostly wonderful and Travel advisor was efficient.

I wasn’t happy when some of the other people staying didn’t always return what belonged to the kitchen and even if there’s a sign saying not to leave bikes in hallway people still do.

If you want sleep, don’t stay here, because the French roommates they don’t respect other people and even after 10:30pm they make phone call loudly in the room
