Great location, excellent service!”

We were originally booked to another hotel but since our flight was cancelled, we had to rebook everything. So happy we chose Sydney Boutique Hotel instead. We love everything about it. We booked 2 deluxe rooms and stayed there for 3 nights. Great location, restaurants, shops, bars and train station nearby.....cozy and fancy rooms, comfy beds......excellent service....Super nice, friendly, helpful and very efficient staff/front desk especially Dominic, who accomodated our request to leave our luggages while we are in Gold Coast. We are staying again and booked 2 rooms again for another 4 nights when we get back this week. We will definitely recommend this to our friends

Delivers In All Aspects -Excellent!”

I booked 2 nights in a superior room. Prior to arriving I received an email that was very informative - so excellent communication. The location of this hotel is excellent just 200M from the Kings Cross Strain Station, many cafes nearby as well as a Coles supermarket 160M away, additionally just a short walk to Hyde Park and the harbour front. The Superior room I stayed in was well appointed with a modern look, it had a large screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge. The king bed was very comfortable. The superior room also has a large balcony area with seating provided. The bathroom was tiled and modern, the shower pressure was awesome. I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel, the Managers Dom and Anna were very friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my bags at reception for the day as I had an evening flight. They also arranged a transfer shuttle which went directly to the airport for just AUD 17 so cheaper than the train and more convenient. Overall I found the hotel to be very clean, well located, reasonably priced (for Sydney) and comfortable. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I visit Sydney. I highly recommend this hotel.

My New First Choice in Sydney”

Great location, 5 min walk from Kings Cross Station but in the slightly more tranquil Darlinghurst. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, the price was reasonable, the room was quiet and very clean (especially the bathroom) and the bed was comfortable. I won't need to think twice about where I'll be staying when I'm next in Sydney, this place is a winner.

A Hotel for People who Value Location”

This is a hotel for people who want clean, modern rooms in the heart of Darlinghurst surrounded by cafes and restaurants. If you intend to spend your time sitting in your hotel room, this might not be the hotel for you as rooms are reasonably small. There was no desk or couch, only a bed and side table. Shouldn't bother you too much if you are out enjoying the city. On a Saturday night our room overlooking Victoria Street was subject to some occasional street noise (noisy people walking between venues, the odd duff-duff car).

Fantastic Experience ”

This is my first review after many years of using Agoda and hundreds of nights staying in Hotels around the world. This Hotel has many positive attributes. The staff from the room cleaning team to the reception and management team do an outstanding job. For day to day management of the Hotel, I would especially like to say a big thank you to Anna and Dom. I ended up staying much longer than expected in the property in a busy period and the team helped me with multiple short notice bookings over numerous days. I have now stayed in all room types in the Hotel and they are all very clean and great value for money. I noticed a comment from a review of access to the room late at night. There is a reception open to around midnight and then you have key card access and a backup way to access the property. There is also a 24-hour number to call with any issues. So, for me, I had no issues whatsoever coming and going day and night.

Great Location”

We love the location, it's near to King Cross Train Station. For muslim traveller, do not have to worry about halal food. You can walk up to Oporto or Five Star Kebab. Staff is helpful, they help to carry my lugage up to the room and book us taxi to airport on our last day. Our flight is at 9.40pm, but they allow us to leave our luggages at the hotel after checking out to utilise our time in Sydney before flying back. Room is neat, bath is with hot water. REVISITING SYDNEY!”

Our requirements were simple for our stay: 1. Location: in the heart of the Sydney we know and love. 2. Parking: we wanted to drive to the hotel and park our car close by. 3. A reasonable size double room, with en-suite shower, and ideally outside space. 4. A comfortable bed, with clean white linen and standard facilities, like kettle,fridge etc. 5. A high standard of cleanliness, and daily housekeeping. 6. Value for money. We received all of the above, plus extra.

All good but not that satisfying ”

It's reasonable price for kings cross location, very close to train, clean and the staff was really friendly. But the facilities are not boutique hotel facilities. 1) no front desk - the front desk was looks like 2mx2m front desk really crowded and no lounge 2) the room was really close each other, like you need to go up for a very small stairs to go to your room (i doubt they have lift) But I felt a little bit over estimate this hotel since they named themselves "boutique hotel" which I don't think they can be classified as one. But again, the location, cleanliness and the staff was excellent.

Perfect location, nice rooms”

You will get the best value for your money in this hotel. We got a nice cozy room that looks newly renovated. Location is awesome, 3 min away from a bus and train station. A lot of nearby restaurants around darlinghurst and kings cross (5 min away)

Best Budget Hotel in Sydney CBD”

Hotel Staff and Customer Service Awesome customer service provided by our hosts during our 2-night stay. Dom and Enna are very accommodating and friendly. We were given an instant upgrade and an early check-in. They provided lots of recommendations from transport to must-visit places. We missed checking that Australia uses a different kind of electrical outlets but our hosts are more than willing to lend use the needed adapters so we can charge our electronics. Location One of best features of this hotel is its proximity to the city's must-visit spot. Transportation is easily accessible from trains and buses for public transportation and you can also use Uber, Bolt and taxis whichever is more convenient for you. Restaurants, pubs, grocery marts and cafès are just a few meters from the hotel Room Our room is small but very clean including the toilet and bath. It has a minibar, coffee tools and a TV. Considering the low price rate of our booking, this is already a jackpot!

Budget Hotel instead of Boutique Hotel”

Discription says : Sydney Boutique Hotel is a perfectly restored and renovated historical Sydney City Townhouse. We where defo not in a restored historical Sydney Townhouse, but a hostel kind of building in the back of the rest of the hotel. Had to walk to another street in the back to enter our room. Room was dirty and no boutique vibe at all. We had the feeling we where in a hostel rather than a boutique hotel. Great points where the staff of the hotel and the location. Great for a budget option, but defo not if you are after a bit of luxury and boutique vibes.

Beautiful hotel and location”

Small but lovely hotel! Located very neat to King’s across station so it’s accessible to take the metro and go to town. There is a lot of restaurants and also cafes down the road. Dom was very helpful and friendly, making our stay more special. Will definitely stay back here again if I visit Sydney next time

Excellent stay in great location”

My partner and I had an excellent stay here. A great location very close to Kings Cross station, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful, recommending places to eat and allowing us to check in slightly early. We were also very happy with the room and thought it was great value for money. Will definitely stay again when we’re next in Sydney.

Small, comfortable, convenient”

Wonderfully located a short walk from everything I needed, this hotel was fantastic. I'd arrived unwell and exhausted with blocked ears from travel and concierge staff were fantastic, making check in quick and easy and even taking my bags to my room for me. Rooms were compact, as is the hotel itself but for the price I wasn't expecting much more and found it no bother. The bed was comfy, the room modern and clean, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Wonderful staff”

My stay in Sydney was very brief. Location was very good to see as much as possible in a short time. The staff was extremely helpful in recommending highlights to see, how to get around, arranging a shuttle to the airport, and carrying my bag upstairs. Service was exceptional, and the room had all the amenities I needed.

Fantastic Thankyou”

It was sprinkling rain when I arrived and the front desk person took me to my room that was situated on a different street holding an umbrella for me the entire way as my hands were full. Any request I had was kindly agreed upon. Mini bar prices were more than reasonable. Bathroom was fantastic! Clean + friendly staff”

Place does not have a lobby/lounge and an elevator so if you have big heavy bags run young kids and a stroller, this isn’t the place for you. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our problem was the shower drain couldn’t handle the volume of water and overflowed. Room was clean and comfortable and we were able to fit our 2 big bags and 2 carryons comfortably. Great location, right at Kings Cross and accessible to all kinds of transport. Ideal for people who just need a place to crash after going all over Sydney.

Boutique hotel”

Stayed for 2 nights, location is great. Staff were very friendly/helpful. ALOT of stairs (no elevator) though so would not recommend for people who need assistance. Boutique is a good description for the rooms and they were very small but clean and modern in design.

Comfortable and convenient ”

We were in the Victoria Street section of the hotel . The room was comfortable and ideal for our overnight stay. Bathroom had everything we needed. Check in and check out were easy and the staff member took us to the entry to the hotel. The only negative was that it was quite noisy with a club located down the road but nothing that a set of earplugs couldn’t remedy. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and staff. Would happily stay here again particularly as it was such a convenient location.
