Find hotels near Tha Sala in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand

When I booked a room at this hotel, i didn't actually have high expectation because I've been a firm believer of "you get what you pay for". However, I was impressed by what my 13 USD bought me. This hotel is located in Tha Sala which is about 25 minutes away from Nakon Si Thamarat city center. Since I am a frequent visitor to Tha Sala for my business, I didn't mind its location much. This place may not be a good choice for handling business in Nakon Si Thamarat. but if you are to visit/stay in Tha Sala area (like at Walailak University or Sichon), this isn't such a bad choice for its money's worth. Especially for backpackers or simple minded travellers. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. There is a small cafe right in the venue but the selection is very limited. The internet speed is ok, neither too fast nor too slow. Most importantly, communicating in English with the staff was a big challenge.but they were nice enough.

The place is very clean and tidy surrounding. It is very calm and relax, suitable for work which needs focus and away from noisy town. The owner is very helpful, and communicating in English reasonably good. The room is a bit small, but have all the needs, eg aircond, cable tv, fridge. The toilet is clean, as it is not 5 stars hotel. They have good shed if you bring car. Happy staying here.

Nice beach with bamboo swings and a lot of outdoor furniture. Suitable for couples and groups. Possibility for barbeque evenings. There are many coconut trees and there is a clean and well kept courtyard in between the rooms. The staff was friendly. It is very nice to wake up with the view of the sea during a clear sunrise. It's not so far away from Nakhon Si Thammarat airport and could therefore be a good choice to stop by or stay for a longer visit. Be aware however, some rooms don't have a fridge and food has to be ordered in advance. You'll have to be mobile (with your own vehicle) and know your way around the area in order to get additional food and other items from stores.
