Very good place for a stopover”

We booked the Avenue and Spa for one night after we touched down at Male International Airport. Airport pick up was included, which is very convenient, its a ten-minute ride from the airport. The hotel is very new. Upon check in, we had our dinner at the small cafe area, food and service was good. We were watching soccer at the cafe and the service staff was very accommodating, he even turn on the television in our room to the soccer channel so that we could continue watching right as we walked into the room. Great service. The room is clean and spacious, many channels on the tv, the bed is big and comfortable. It's situated near the beach, although we were rushed for time the next morning, we managed a short walk along the beach. Breakfast the next morning is good too. Left the hotel on a happy note. Once again, thank you to the staff at The Avenue and Spa.

Good stay over in Hulhumale”

I stayed twice in this guesthouse/hotel. Begin and end of my vacation. The room is big enough, clean and totally fine for this price. Everything was clean. Bathroom got free shower gel, bodylotion, hot water works. Room got a nespresso machine (capsule 1$),2 free water, free tea. Breakfast is included from 7am. Omelette, muffin, bread very yummy. If you leave before 7am you get a breakfast package. Tourist beach is 3min walking close, busstation to the airport and male is 5min walking. Many different Restaurants are close, there is a inhouse Restaurant too. There is a roof top balkony to chillout. In hulhumale they build many new houses. Also close to the guesthouse. So there is everywhere on the Island construction noise.. But in the room you dont hear it, outside you do. On the beach side it is relaxing no noise. On agoda there is free Transport included From and to the airport. Soo this is the one minus. I wrote them E-Mail and contact over agoda.

its a very nice hotel,, very clean and breakfast included is amazing ,, reception staff was very helpful... have requested for top floor room,, she had given the same... would recommend the hotel ... near to Velana International Airport. no need to come by boat or ferry,, accessible by car itself... 5 star from me,, thank you agoda and the Avenue and Spa....

Wonderful hotel and staff”

This place is terrific - clean, new, with an excellent and attentive staff. Free airport transfer. I stayed here twice (one night each) in the same week, before and after my stay at a resort on another island. On my second visit, they took me to my room and I discovered that they had spelled out "Welcome Back" (with artistic designs) on my king-size bed using meticulously-cut fronds from palm trees. How awesome is that? Location is a 10-15 minute car ride from the airport, with the hotel being about 100 feet from the ocean. At this writing, there is a ton of construction going on in the area, as there is on much of that island, but nothing that was noisy or bothersome as evenings were very quiet. It was only noticeable when I walked around the area. There are a number of restaurants in the area and a small convenience store, but not much more currently, and the hotel has it's own restaurant with a very kind and accommodating staff (I had an early flight, before they opened, and they insisted on packing a to-go breakfast for me). There was a Thai restaurant about a block away that was one of the best Thai meals I've ever had. This is a four-story building with many a half-dozen rooms per floor. Rooms are good size, and the hotel looks either brand new or newly remodeled. An elevator makes dealing with baggage easy, but even easier is that they insist on taking your baggage up and down for you. I highly recommend this hotel, and for the price it simply cannot be beat. It was the perfect place for an overnight stay as I was transitioning from my flights to the resort.

Great place for a stopover”

Fantastic hotel for a stopover, or possibly a longer stay. Very modern and well furnished rooms, free airport pick up and drop off and the staff are genuinely friendly. Although we weren't there long enough to explore the immediate area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Avenue and Spa for an overnight stop.

Excellent Hospitality !”

Hotel staff made us feel at home and they took good care of us. Pickup and drop arranged, delicious breakfast and decent amenities. Only drawback was poor wifi signal in the room which worked only till door and not inside the room. Suggest to improve this area and install wifi router at each floor. Big thanks to entire staff @ The Avenue and Spa for their excellent service and support.

Convenient location, clean rooms”

Convenient location from Male airport if it is a late flight, save the hassle of transferring via speedboat. Hotel is new with clean rooms and adequate facilities for an overnight rest, before getting on to domestic flight or speedboat the next morning to your resort destination.

Hotel is good for the price”

You get what you pay for, hotel rooms are small but clean. Hotel staff was courteous, provided us airport pick-n-drop facility even though they were always on a tight schedule. The issue is with the island this hotel is located, beaches are not that good, you can try some water sports here on cheaper rates than on a resort. I would recommend it for 1 or max 2 days, the island is connected to Male international airport by road, so it is easier to reach from here.

Clean and New ”

I have nothing much to complain here , as I was only looking for a room for my overnight stay since my plane landed in the night, before I venture to my Maldives island vacation the next morning. 1st issue is the pick up from airport which is not immediate and we were made to wait for the driver for 20-30mins as they make their regular rounds to pick and drop off other passengers too. 2nd issue is the free breakfast which is rather mediocre with only a few pastries to choose from and the standard fresh fruits, cereals, milk and freshly brewed coffee. They will fry 2 eggs for each pax as requested (either sunny side or scrambled). What I like is the free Airport transfer which is provided and it lessens the burden of carrying our own luggages by public transport. Also the place is new and everything works and the room ambience is simply fantastic too! It feels like a 4-5 star hotel room instead of a budget motel. And lastly, the Filipino receptionist is very and helpful and the staffs are also smiling all the way. Highly recommended if u want something less than SGD100/night with free breakfast, clean and comfortable overnight accommodation and free 2-way airport transfers.

Stayed For Transit”

Staff is kind especially Ahmed who welcome us in the airport and Mosa in the hotel. The room was prepared very well with 'WELCOME' sign on the bed. They offered to help us buy local Ferry tickets (Rf 30) to Maafushi Island but in the morning they changed the plan into Speedboat ($25 / person). I was not sure that there was no ticket for local ferry or they did not want to buy it for us because they explained the ferry did not sail because of high tide after raining but we saw the ferry in Maafushi Island was sailed without problem of high tide. Also we should pay $10 for taxi (car) into the ferry port in the noon. We were confuse it should be complimentary transfer by the hotel or we should pay for taxi by ourselves. During our stay, water heater suddenly off when we were in the shower because of the electricity problem. I thought it was not enough voltage because near the hotel a lot of constructions which use electricity. The breakfast was delicious and enough for us, we could choose some Western menu. Breakfast served after we chose the menu, not buffet. There was a coffee machine in the room which 2 capsules were free as complimentary. Hotel location is near to beach, mini market, cafe / restaurant. Wifi is fast enough. Small lift. Room is spacious enough. Lobby and restaurant is comfortable.

Friendly, clean and comfortable”

The staff are all very friendly and it is very convenient, as they provide airport transfers. If any of you did not find their staff around, you may proceed to the airport information center, they will provide to you their hotel phone number. You just need to call them, and they will come around 10-20 mins to the airport, to pick you up. The hotel room is clean as well and looks new. Thumbs up to the hotel and staff. Thank you for your kind hotel service. Definitely come back to stay when i come to Maldives again.

Nice and fine stayover”

Very good guesthouse. Room are clean and big enough. Bathroom is super clean, aircon is working. There is an evelator for peoples with handicap. Restaurant inside and roof top balcon. Close to the tourist beach, like 5min walking. Breakfast included was very good with serval things. During the day it is outsite noisy, cause everywhere in hulhumale they build new constructions. There is an airport transfer included in the offer. if u call them on the airport. This worked good. Thats why booked them. For the way back to the airport was the transfer not avaible cause there is only transfer till 14.00.. I think that is not ok if its in the offer.

Good hotel for overnight transit”

We were received at the airport by Mussab who was friendly, warm and helpful, and waited about 15 minutes for a transfer to the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The hotel provided a good range of toiletries--much better than the island resort we subsequently stayed in. Coffee served at breakfast was great but the selection of food items limited and quality so-so. A couple of minutes walk to the beach. All in all excellent for an overnight stay if arriving in Velana Airport on a late flight.

Good for overnight stay”

Just 15 minutes from the airport, this hotel is very close to the beach. Good location to go for a walk and lot of eateries nearby. Friendly staff and adequate breakfast. Their free airport transfer is only during a particular time period, so would suggest to confirm with the hotel about the transfer. Rooms are good and clean.

Layover”

Their airport shuttle picks you up by the information booth in the airport. Front desk was exceptional in arranging our speedboat pick up and check-in for our island resort the next day. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

A very good hotel.. Everything went smooth start from we arrive at airport. The staff is there to assist you and the shuttle is good. I really like the hospitality given by the hotel. Great place and superb staff”

Stayed for one night for a stop over and had to leave super early in the morning. Airport transfer was available to and fro (~10 Min drive). The staff were super welcoming and even packed breakfast for us, even though the kitchen wasn’t opened yet. Room was clean and comfortable. An affordable and convenient place to stay.

We had a great stay at The Avenue while transiting before our flight from Malé. The room was clean and spacious and the staff are fabulous - friendly and helpful.

Exceptional”

Very Good Hotel for a Stay over, Except for Continental Foods, You will not get any Veg Breakfast. Good to Stay, Enjoyed the Newly built Hotel.There is no other facilities like swimming pool,Gym/Spa.It is small property having Five units in three floors.Very Good Staff.Pickup and Drop to Airport is Complementory.

Nice clean hotel”

The hotel is located near the beach. It's clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful. The breakfast is simple and nice. A short 15mins drive from airport. You can walk out to the beach for food options. Good overnight hotel.
