Spacious Room and Good Price”
The hotel is right next to the UK embassy so it is a safe area. It is also close to a subway station and the main Termini. Walking without luggage to the main Termini is about 10 minutes. With luggage, the cab is only EURO $10 (when you call the taxi, the taxi do charge you for the distance to your hotel and the distance to your destination but it is $10 total after all). The room itself is clean and spacious. I use the tub everyday after the extensive tourist walk. Breakfast is good too given that the room is only $150 per night after tax. Staffs are nice and helpful. We got a round bed which we are not so used to but they have regular king too.

Nice hotel with nice rooms ”
A lovely hotel only 10 minutes from the Termini so handy for trains to the airport. Nice big rooms that were cleaned well daily. Unfortunately the aircon wouldn't switch off and it was always a little chilly but nothing major. 15-20 walk from the town centre so good for everything.

A very nice hotel but not accessible friendly. ”
I traveled with young child in stroller. The hotel entrance to front desk is staircase without any alternative. Not recommended for wheelchair or stroller traveler. Restaurant is very good. Room is spacious and modern light switches and smart TV. But the room is a bit dark in the night with not enough lighting installed. Should install at least 1 full or half body mirror compare to only half mirror in the toilet before the basin. The bath tub as a bit of water leaking on the floor. Location is not in the active city center or tourist center. Need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach Roma Temini (Train Station). Difficult to find restaurant around the hotel area unless you dine in hotel restaurant with reasonable price and good food.

A nice, modern hotel with historical surrondings”
The hotel was nice, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was very good with an impressive range of food to choose - including several cakes to round it off. The bathromm in my room was new and advanced, but it could have had a shower curtain, now it got wet all over after I showered. The hotel was fairly close to the railway station. It was fully doable to walk down to for example the Colloseum, or you could take the subway.

Very , very disappointed ”
This hotel's location and conference facilities were fine with an excellent pianist on site! My assigned room was not in the main building of the hotel but in a one-level off shoot from the main building. The room door opened directly into the hotel parking lot (much like a cheap travel lodge hotel). Zero view to outside. The door was frosted glass & one small window with frosted glass (no screen) in the far corner of the room. There was black mold on the ceiling and wall. The room had a very strong musty damp basement type smell. The room heat could not be adjusted (cold) and it took 10 min and 7 min of running the hot water to actually get hot water from the tap and shower. Bathroom poorly designed. No curtain/stall; floor flooded (poorly drained). It felt to me like an unsafe, claustrophobic cold cell. After A LOT of complaining, hotel staff agreed to move me to a main hotel room (much better!) but only the next day; nonetheless I felt ripped off for the 1st night of a 3-night stay

Damp Room”
We were assigned one of the double standard rooms outside by the pool. However upon closer inspection the toilet leaked when first used and the whole room had a strong overwhelming smell of damp! We brought this to the attention of several of their staff and the concierge but we were told that they were unable to relocate us to another room due to availability, even tho we could still book for rooms through their website. At one point they sent over a staff member with some air fresher in a bid to help disguise the smell! Upon checkout they said they were unable to reimburse or discount our room, as we had made payment for the room upfront and said the Manager was unavailable to talk to personally. Just really unpleasant, upsetting and disappointed in the service provided.

Staff was Excellent at The Building but Agoda Booking is worst!”
The staff and accommodations at The Building were wonderful. However through Agoda I inadvertently booked 2 hotels for the same period of time (7 days) on the internet. Since we were traveling I read the confirmation as meaning: 2 rooms at The Building, which is what we needed for our family of 3 adults and 2 children. Agoda and Hotel Ripa will do nothing to compensate us for this error. I was charged $2198.90 for Ripa and $3068.60 for The Building. Of course I agree to pay the hotel bill in full for The Building but I am disputing the Ripa bill and I will NEVER book through AGODA again or stay at Ripa on my next Roman trip!

Very beautiful hotel. Shame about the breakfast.”
Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The building is very beautiful. The pool and put door areas are also beautiful and clean. The hotel is very close to transportation links to get further into the city. The staff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast was very limited. Not a lot of options to choose from. The fruit wasn’t fresh and nether was the juice. We were charged €58 to us the spa for 1 day which I thought should be included in the stay for customers. We were also charged €12 per night for city tax.

Excellent stay in a good location for a great price”
We stayed for 7 nights in the building hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was the unresponsive air conditioning but management moved us to a new suite to rectify the issue. The junior suite was spacious and well designed with excellent features, an enjoyable place to relax after a long day sightseeing and exploring. The hotel is situated about 20-30mins walk from the city centre and 10mins walk from termini station making it ideal as we were active every day. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English, able to assist with sightseeing queries. On the last night we had a great apperitife at the bar with mini pizzas, sandwiches etc which can be bought for as little as €5 making it a reasonable option compared to most places in the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Great modern hotel clean and great breakfast”
It’s hard to find a mordern hotel here but this one inside a old building makes everything look clean cut and modern, you have breakfast on the terrace above a main room it feels like you have breakfast with history, it’s a good selection of food in comparison and their meatballs are great try them even if it’s not your usual choice for breakfast!! The room was great! We had to drag our cases up about 10 steps to enter the hotel, they said they couldn’t have a ramp due to regulations so it could be a bigger issue for some people.

Nothing Exceptional, No Kettle, No Irons, Have To Pay For A Swim! ”
Rooms Were very clean, got junior suite for last day was the best thing of it lovely won't fault :) & Staffs at reception were really nice and helpful i think those were the only main thing that made the stay nice. I don't think they should charge people for using basic facilities like pool and steam and sauna €25 for entry per person basically £25 for a swim in such small pool you can even swim a length. There's no kettles in the rooms nor irons in the building the closest laundrette is close by down the road. If you are going to the swim entry make sure to have your own cap as they charge €4 for one per person. I got conned i didn't need one as i had my own and i signed the cheque for entry for 2 people for €50 then at the end when i checked out i got charged for a cap without my consent i thought it was out of order even tho it's only €4 it's the principle of it re writing a cheque to add on €4 without my consent!!! No entertainment, breakfast €10 paid once not again nothing great.

Not given the rooms we paid for, too remote, not a nice area, poor greeting by Receptionist ”
On arrival we were informed that we could not be given the superior rooms we had booked due to storm damage and wet carpet (there were no carpets in the rooms). The receptionist was far from apologetic saying “it’s not my fault”. She was also argumentative with a member of our party. We were offered free access to the spa as a consolation however we had a full itinerary for our three days so this was of no use to us. We explained this to the argumentative receptionist who said we should call Agoda. We asked could she not do this she rudely said no. The rooms we were allocated were dark, no storage space at all other than a wardrobe with a few hangers. There was no where to put underwear, T shirts etc. In the bathroom there was literally no where to put your own toiletries. There was only a mirror in the bathroom so putting on your makeup or straightening your hair had to be completed using my handbag mirror which was not easy. Rodent traps were noted in the pool area

Absolutely not worth it. ”
This is really just a dressed up budget hotel. The only saving grace was that it was reasonably clean. Let’s start with the extremely rude staff member at checkin who kept us waiting over an hour after when we were supposed to have our room. The room itself was extremely disappointing and cramped. Small dark rooms, with only one mirror in the dark bathroom and a distinct lack of amenities. The beds had scratchy blankets on them, the beds and pillows super uncomfortable. You can’t control your own aircon and have to call reception every time you need to change. The breakfasts were limited, and as food ran out it was never adequately restocked so if you came down for breakfast at say 9:30 you were basically eating 3 hour leftovers.. if you’re here for the pool, it’s a small dipping pool at best and extremely cold so it never gets comfortable. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, stay away.

New hotel with poor air conditioning ”
It's around 4-5 mins walk from metro, a bit quiet at nite. Resturants within 3-4 mins distance. Friendly staff , new and clean. But poor air conditioning. The first nite the air conditioning didn't work even I called and they claimed they have reset it.. The second nite, even air was blowing from the air con, it was so hot and we were sweating. If they fix the air con problem, it would be a good hotel
