A Memorable Stay”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flora May. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly helping to make the stay very pleasurable. The hotel was very clean and everything worked. The room was spacious and comfortable. The wifi was excellent. We had the pool to ourselves and it was really lovely at the end of a hot day. We had good breakfast with plenty to eat and the standard of evening meal was excellent. The hotel is quiet and though there appeared to be some small foods stalls and a 7 Eleven nearby we didn't venture out. There wouldn't be anything close by for those seeking retail therapy - for that you would need to travel into Songkhla or Hat Yai. We highly recommend a stay if visiting the area.

Nice and clean room. Far from busy town, located 20mins to Hatyai town & 20mins to Songkhla. A good place to stay if you travelling by your own vehicle.

Whoever planned to visit both Hatyai Town and Samila Beach, this is the best hotel for you. The distance between hotel & Floating Market and hotel & Samila Beach is the same. The restaurant has halal certificate, so dont worry about your breakfast. We also have our dinner here with affordable price. Their tom yam gung and lemon meat was mesmerizing. The room is clean and fully equipped with everything u want (except iron). You can also use swimming pool whenever u want (no time limit) but the pool not suitable for children and ni pool stairs.. There was also lift, so it much more easier if you travel with a child with stroller, or elderly/handicapped person with wheelchair. The staff can understand simple English but in Thailand you must ready with apps that can translate your language to theirs. There was no Qiblat or prayer mat, so be ready. The 7E quite nearby...so if u need anything.,..i mean any-thing... I am perplexed to see 7E there sell medicine like antivomiting, antidiarrhea and motion sickness. So, welcome to Hatyai... Footnote: choose your travel period wisely...if not, u will cramped with all malaysian during malaysian school holiday like mine.

The bedsheet not clean and still found hair”
The first thing I did when entering room is checking the bedsheet. This time the Flora May Resort has disappointed me due to bedsheet not change. I call the hotel to change the bedsheet. And they (cleaner) come and changed it.

Spacious room, great value for money”
This was a spacious room and a great value for the money. It's not easy to access Songkhla, though, unless you have your own car. The staff is friendly and kind.

Calm & quiet retreat”
The hotel seems quite new with no defects in the accomodation. The hotel was very well maintained and clean including the pool. Rooms were sound proofed too. Although we stayed near the elevator, we weren’t disturbed by any outside sounds. Breakfast also was very tasty. The only downside is its location which is around 10km from the nearest attractions but no issues if you have your own transport.

This place is good if you want to relax”
In terms of the location, it's a bit far from the local attraction area, about 30 mins from the Songkhla beaches but the hotel is very nice. The only thing is, most of the staff doesn't know English at all. Difficult to communicate to them.

Holiday in Songkhla + hat yai”
Good value for money hotel if you have your own transportation. Recomended to use waze to guide you around songkhla province. We rent car from car rental company to maximize our trip efficiency.

Value for money.Inconvenient location for tourists without transport”
My ONLY few hours stay-instead of a 3 days 2 nights stay in this hotel prompted me to state my memorable BAD experiences here : PRO - 1)Good value with basic facilities-even with a decent pool , 2) Clean Room 3) Café & Pool CON - 1) Distanced from town & tourist attraction places 2) High $ for cab with limited or no tuk tuk service 3) NO eateries near the hotel 4) A/C split unit are not ideally placed in the room. 5)Were deprived from using the pool in the afternoon just because of the poolside function at night ! 5) Indeed a terribly bad idea to organise poolside party with full blasting annoying, agitating LOUD BASS MUSIC + SHOUTING & YELLING NOISE that generated MASSIVE IRRITATING NOISE POLLUTION till the wee hour -( took place just beside guest bedrooms ! )- A definite NIGHTMARE for holiday makers seeking quietness & serenity in hotel accommodation. However ,a BIG THUMBS UP for Ms.June - Chief Cashier-junior staff who handled my complaint on site SINCERELY & amicably with tact. Keep it up June ! - you are on your way to become a professional hotelier very soon. The HM & RM were courteous & hospitable too from my first impression contact point.

I like this hotel, staffs are friendly, the location is in the middle of Hatyai and Songkhla so you can go to both attractions not so far from this hotel. Clean! The breakfast is good, even i just eat cereals and fruits.

What's in a name? It's a hotel not really a resort”
Like i said it is a hotel with swimming pool. It looks nice but not as special as you can see on some pics. The rooms have a normal size and the bathroom is a little bigger then usual. A minus for me is that you have to take a shower in a bathtubb. The TV have mostly Thai and Chinese channels. Just a few international. Breakfast is soso. There is a little buffet and you can/need to choose from a list with 6 items as rice soup, eggs, noodles, ...). One morning there wasn't a buffet inside but there was a very big one outside. The staff and second manager said to us we can take food outside. Then suddenly the manager came outside screaming at me the food wasn't for me/us (guests) but for peoples from the gouvernement. A bit later some busses arrived with schoolkids who did eat and drink from the buffet. We have the impression they don't like the pool is being used because they want you to use your own towels from the room. For a wanna be resort this is a big NOT DONE! Anyway one day there were 3 kids who jumped in the pool and the whole staff was shocked. My Thai gf told me they were saying that the kids can't use the pool. No idea why. To conclude: the hotel is located on a convenience place for me because i have a car. Not nearby the city and interesting places. So not really easy to reach without transportation. It is quiet and clean and i just use it for sleeping. I will give it a 6.5 for the attitude of the manager, the breakfast and the fact they have no towels at the swimmingpool.

we stayed here for 3 days 2 nights for family day and we have booked 8 deluxe rooms. overall is very good, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the workers at the counter are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. only the swimming pool does not provide a place for children. only suitable for adults
