Good location as there were so many restaurant around the block. Near bus stand for taxi and buses. Good staff specially the night shift. Need to do more with cleanliness with the value we paid for

Super good deal”

Great Staying at the initial. We stayed for 1 week with 1 toddler. Their room are spacious, complete with kitchen utendils, and also washing machine with dryer. The staffs is also nice.

Great affordable service residence”

Would highly recommend this place for slightly long stayers >6 days. Place is new, well kept with good supplies. Staff are friendly and helpful. My parents have stayed here twice. The unit comes with own kitchenette and fridge, pretty much self sufficient. Price is extremely reasonable compared to other hotels around. Great recommend for business travellers and those with families.

It's very clean and new!!!”

We booked the biggest family room with 51 sqm, which is really spacious. The apartment is brand new renovated, very clean and friendly used. It almost provided all the daily necessary households. The location is very convenient to grab food just downstair, with many variaties. And right in front of the service apartment, there is a Taxi stand and bus stop that allow us to get transportation very easily. But I have some minor suggests are: 1. Pls provide one more dust-bin in the wash-room. 2. Pls provide home-cleaning daily but not twice a day. We would choose this service apartment again next time.

Great value for money - very comfortable stay and awesome location”

We really enjoyed our 2-week stay at The Initial Residence. The serviced apartment was very comfortable -- and it was great that they would actually clean the apartment every other day. The location is very central and right beside a taxi stand and bus stop too. The room amenities were very useful - washing machine, hair dryer, full sized fridge, etc. The pricing is extremely reasonable for the location and the comfortable size of the apartment. I would stay here again if I needed to stay for more than a few days in SG.

Convenient and family friendly place to stay.”

Can get the cleaning dept to be more polite and give clear information. We are customers and the way the head of Housekeping dept was very rude. Should teach some manners and customer service. Overall good but very disappointed for Housekeeping dept. Nothing much to say.

The rooms are big and clean. Housekeeping is very decent. Staff is very polite. Access to public transport is less than 100 Mtrs. A very good deal at the price offered. Can be improved on kitchen utensils

Great togetherness”

Easy to go anywhere. Complete utensils and kitchenette unless rice cooker, because of the chinese new year we should prepare our meal by ourselves. Clean and tidy. We got early check in without any charges. We will stay here again for our next visiting. Thank you Mr. Enzo for your hospitality! We have happy reunoin for this year chinese new year.

I assume The Initial is newly built because when i was there, the gym was still under renovation so i was not able to work out during my week stay. You will need to give the reception a heads up to have your room cleaned- no matter you put the sign to clean your room on or not. Also, cleaners don't do the dishes unless you ask them to. The cleaning service could be better, but overall location and room facility is not bad at all.

Serviced apartment but not serviced apartment”

I called for cleaning once, nobody came. Nobody cleaned my room for the whole of my 7 day stay. I did call twice for service to check my aircon and they came after my second call. No water provided everyday. The room layout and design was quite nice though and I really liked that I had a washing machine/dryer because I came from SHN and I had a lot to wash and dry. What irked me the most are the very few electric outlets! I had to carry the microwave oven out of its space and nearer to the tv because that's near to an outlet. Do they think I'll buy an extension for my stay? If I need to, they should have mentioned when I checked-in. It was still a good stay though but really had to say these things. Good thing I didn't break the oven when I carried it, I'm quite thin and not used to carrying heavy items.
