Excellent location near Airport, great value for price!”

I booked this hotel for my parents visit to Mumbai and managed to get a Super Saver deal on a early booking. I wanted to minimize their travel in Mumbai upon arrival (they were taking a 3-4hr road trip next day) and this was an excellent option as it is just 10 minute drive from the international airport. I booked a hotel pick-up (~INR 700) and the staff was there on arrival even though our flight landed almost 45 minutes early. Pick-up and check-in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful. Security at hotel was tight with all luggage and full body scan. Hotel is a bit old but tastefully done. The lobby is a large covered courtyard and gives a grand appearance. Rooms are well furnished with a large bed (good for 2 adults + 1 kid). Breakfast was sumptuous. The only surprise we felt was that wifi was not free (except for 1 hour per room) and we felt the charges were a bit steep. Other than that, my parents had a enjoyable stay at The Lalit.

Amazing stay...”

I stayed at The Lalit Mumbai from Sept 15 - Sept 21, 2017. Me and my wife enjoyed the stay and were planning to extend the stay. They will make you feel very comfortable. Every staff member greets with a smile. They will help in any way to accomodate guest requests and help the guest to make informed decision whether it be transportation, sight seeing, shopping.... They have excellent spread of breakfast buffet with some live counters. Overall from Front desk to Guest Relations to House Keeping to Security they will all make you feel VALUED GUESTS in true sense. Keep up the good work and I salute to all of the staffs professionalism. If I come back to Mumbai please find me at The Lalit.

One of the Be Best”

We had a wonderful and pleasant stay at the Lalit in Andheri. The staff are courteous, helpful and well behaved and trained. The front desk personnel are very well trained in the hospitality sector and the rooms are excellent. I cannot honestly fault any area during my 3 day stay. I would recommend 100% to everyone for Lalit is an experience not to be missed. If you are missing home, then Lalit is your partner in this abyss.

Lovely hotel great airport location”

We had a 10 hr layover in mumbai. Considering you can't enter the airport until 4 hrs prior to flight a hotel was always the option for us. We went through agoda and got a fantastic deal for the Lalit. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself incredibly comfortable. We had time to take advantage of the spa and eat as well as get some sleep before our journey back to London. A perfect end to a fantastic holiday!

Overall a pleasant stay which we extended by one night because we loved our stay here. As always AGODA.COM has given the best possible price. Here are a few points of feedback we'd like to suggest. You need to renovate the rooms, the entertainment systems, upgrade TV, add more channels, DVD player, Ipod dock with alarm clock is essential. A designer ceiling fan would add a classy touch. Air conditioning was just about right but could have been better. Also have options of bathrooms with the Bidet shower/health faucet. Many families will find it convenient. To be absolutely honest, The service was warm, honest, earnest and topnotch. The breakfast spread was of international standards. The Lobby was GRAND (even under maintenance), The Live Piano set the right mood. The rooms are showing age and a few rough edges, a bit of modernization will perk up the overall experience. Will certainly visit again and again and also highly recommend. One sore point was the noise we experienced on Saturday and Sunday we stayed. EXTREMELY LOUD Concerts and programs on the east side of the hotel. But these factors are beyond the control of the management, So cannot blame them. One real odd experience was that somebody turned up to check the mini-bar and offer room service at 0645 in the morning. But apart from this one off weird experience, It was really really Pleasant. The hotel Lalit is one of the excellent hotel that I stayed in Mumbai. The staff was friendly and hotel ambience is very good. We like the breKfast as well as in-house dinning. The hotel is very beautiful and room was very spacious. I would certainly like to recommend this hotel if anybody wants to stay in Hotel Lalit

Excellent luxury hotel for the money”

I am so happy I booked a room at the Mumbai airport allait for my 3-day stay there. The hotel which belongs to an Indian hotel chain was fantastic, large clean room, very courteous and helpful staff, amazing breakfast buffet, delicious food overall. Luckily, the usual international hotels located near the airport were just too pricey when I booked, so I could discover the Lalit! Would go back any time!

Excellent hotel with excellent staff”

We spent just one night in the Lalit on our way home from Malaysia and were very impressed with the facilities and, particularly, the staff. We lost count of the number of times a member of staff asked whether there was anything we needed and whether our breakfast was ok. If anything, they were too attentive. Would definitely choose the Lalit again if needing accommodation near Mumbai airport.

Comfortable stay, exceptional service.”

The room was spacious and comfortable for my stay. The decor isn't the most exciting or the most modern, but it was ample and in fairly decent condition. I didn't really get to use much of the facilities such as the pool or wifi to comment on it. But I do have to note that their service was really exceptional. 1) They offer a grab and go service for breakfast, catering to travelers who may not necessarily have enough time to sit down and have breakfast before rushing off for their meetings or to check out the sights. Something which I'd have to say was really thoughtful. 2) On one of the nights I was at the bar and there was a group of people that were hanging out, and one of them revealed that he was enjoying the last 20mins of his birthday, much to the surprise of his friends who weren't privy to the knowledge before. Shortly after the staff came by and surprised him with a cake, which I thought was a really lovely gesture. 3) I had a late flight to catch and was planning to see the sights before leaving Mumbai after I'd checked out, I'd asked if I could have access to complimentary shower facilities. The reception put up a slight fuss about it saying it wasn't possible, even though the concierge had said it was possible the day before. At my insistence he managed to get it sorted out. I left the hotel and was expecting to have to negotiate my way into getting the shower facilities that was promised earlier when I got back from my sightseeing. To my pleasant surprise everything went without a hitch, and the spa staff were super helpful in ensuring that I had all the assistance I needed. I've heard so many stories about having to deal with hotel staff who are inconsistent in their policies and having to argue your way to get things and generally poor service even in 5 star hotels. The great service I enjoyed made the trip easy and left an impression on me. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone else that is looking for a 5 star hot

I stayed on 2 Apr .The Hotel was changed from Intercontinental to be The lalit Mumbai. I've got a welcome flower at airport. I'm very happy about that. Driver was very polite. The room not changed so much from Intercontinental(I've been there for 3 times) Overall was very good!!

Great Again”

We had a great stay at the Lalit. We have stayed there several times before on our way through Mumbai and it was up to its usual standard. The staff are very helpful, the hotel at a very high 5 star standard and the convenience of proximity to the airpot, with late night arrivals and early morning departures was just what we anted after a long journey. I would be comfortable to recommend others to stay there and enjoy the same experience.

Outstanding Hotel With Great Hospitality”

We were on a short vacation to Mumbai and our pleasure has got doubled with our stay at the Lalit. We are amazed with the hospitality provided by the hotel.. Hats off for the same. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Although renovation was in progress at hotel but never felt any disturbances due to that. Food was awesome. In one word it is Great.

Transit in Mumbai”

I stayed at the Lalit during a 9 hour stopover in Mumbai. The pool is very nice with plenty of shady and comfortable lounge chairs. The deluxe room had a very comfortable king-size bed. Sadly the picture quality on the large TV was atrocious: lots of ghosting and pixels. The bathroom was large and filled with plenty of amenities. The happy hour at the bar was delightful, with a true 50% offered on the drinks (including whole bottles of wine). Room service was efficient and tasty. Internet was free of charge, fast and reliable. The price for the 3 minute shuttle to and from the airport is simply outrageous. Tip: get an Uber for less than one quarter of the price!

Lalit ..luxury with economies”

Excellent, fantabulous. I was travelling with my two young kids and was looking for a nice clean hotel with Big room. The 42sq MTR room & big bed easily accommodated 3 of us. Bathrooms were big and very clean. Amazing selection in breakfast ample choices ..one always get confused what to LEAVE.. Delicious. In room service was also fast.Ordered pizza for kids..expensive but worth it. Kids loved the freshness & taste. Dominos & Pizza hut you guys got to learn from the chef in Lalit.. Overall amazing value for money..guys I strongly recommend Lalit

Exceptional”

Lalit is near to the aiport and convenient to travel but the only difficulty was to travel to other parts of mumbai too much traffic Also the noise level on the first floor was alot but when we complained the problem was sorted out immediately the staff at lalit were excellent

Loved every moment of the 2 days - will return. You will be pleasantly refreshed - do make it a point to visit Lalit Mumbai- the atrium just is beautiful ...it has an amazing light fragrance and a very positive aura about it.

5 Star Stay closer to the Airport”

Less than half a KM from the airport, good food available round the clock, Service from the staff is really great.. cabs and public transport available throughout the day. rooms are clean and tidy, great place for business travellers, and people looking to stay closer to the airport and near Andheri east. only issue was the rooms are not sound proof or built too close to each other. you can actually hear other occupants speak..

Amazing but..”

Had amazing time in The Lalit expect 1 incident which I want to highlight in this feedback review. Special thanks to : Tejal (Counter staff) Chandni (Coffee Shop), Swapnil & Netro (The Baluchi) for their attention & great hospitality. Issue: Food ordered for my infant contained stones. Would request management to take care of this aspect since amount charged for 1 bowl is on higher side but missing the important element i.e. high quality of cleanliness while cooking. Advice to Kitchen Management: Don't depend on contractor/supplier but be vigilant while preparing the order.
