I have no hesitation in heartily recommending The Leaf to anyone who appreciates peace, comfort and gorgeous gardens. Graham and Nim are lovely characters, beaming with welcoming smiles, easy conversation and loads of genuine care. Their exceptional hosting skills are matched by the accomodations they've created. The four stylish rooms are secluded amongst beautiful tropical greenery, each with a patio. Both the bedroom and bathroom are spacious, well appointed and super clean. The lay out offer guests a quiet, restful sleep and privacy. Bonuses like strong wifi, blockout curtains, insect screens and silent AC are appreciated. Really perfect. The grounds are stunning and very well maintained. There's a pool to keep cool and a fantastic outdoor communal kitchen for guest use. Everything is orderly and spotless, with incredibly thoughtful detail and presentation. The short trip into Ban Krut town and beach passes through pretty coconut groves along quiet paved roads. Lovely and worthwhile ”
Great and cosy stay - it was perfect for me as a stopover on a long drive. I didn’t use any facilities but it was nice to see the shared kitchen and pool. Intimate ground of four houses and lovely sense of community. Thank you!

Look like boutique hotel, nice room, clean bed,bed sheet, pillow and comfortable bed.Far from the road and local market. Khun Nim is very kind.

Great, calm accommodation ”
Spent a few days in Bankrut, which is a very quiet village. The guesthouse and the rooms are very nice and you have everything you need - including a pool and a great outdoor kitchen. Roomwise I honestly expected a bit more for the price. It was clean, but not spotless, as a few reviewers say. The bathroom was a little old and could have been cleaner, sink was blockes, but still, for Asia a good standard. The host is very, very nice. She borrowed her moto for a few hours and arranged rental for the next days for us. In addition, she drove us to the train station very, very early in the morning without any compensation. If you want to have a peaceful and calm stay - choose this one. But be aware, you need a scooter or car and the village itself is not that big or fancy. The travel from/to Bankrut train station is good, but from there you need a transport - or have to walk, which is only recommended during daylight.

Ban Krut is a very nice and lovely city. Especially quit and not too many tourists. Also the hotel is located very well and the landscape around it is beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, additionally the garden with the pool are perfect for a little rest. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The well-being of the guests is importent to them. Also the price is reasonable. We would definitely recommend this hotel because we had a really good stay!
