My stay will be memorable for I got to enjoy top class hotel and service at such an affordable price. The Leela is located close to the International airport and once you're in, its so good to escape the noisy Mumbai trafic. The decor and interior design is classy and all spaces are super clean and tidy. Personnel are very discreet and always greeting you. The food is amazing and so tasty. Their desert and local sweets are to die for... Im only staying at The Leela for my future trips to India because you feel pampered and everything made possible by their staff and dedictation to service. And its such value for money. They also offer one free transfer for your stay and they provide their luxurious BMW to collect or drop you at the airport. The rooms are super class, beautifully decorated and super clean. The bed is amazing and you have apillow menu to choose from. My only remark would be that Wifi is not free and you'd expect it complimentary at this standard. But the rest is so amazing that you dont stop at this. Also i found that most Indian families and travellers chose Leela, and that's a very good indication if they're doing it means you cant go wrong. It goes the same for eating outs and restaurants, if you find locals there, then its definitely worth trying it.

Overpriced Leela”
I have stayed at the Leela in Mumbai over a period of about 20 years. It has always been a hotel I have been happy to recommend, as well as to return to as a guest. The Leela is still a great hotel, with all the right attributes, but recently I have found that the costs of the services at the hotel in the bars and restaurants have become excessively expensive. I travel extensively internationally, and find the cost of food and drink at the Leela, possibly the most expensive of any hotel anywhere, in a country where around the corner you can find a perfectly good option for food and drink at a third of the price. I will think twice about staying at the Leela in the future, as there are other better options in the vicinity that are more reasonably priced when it comes to services.

Luxury and comfort close to Mumbai internaional ”
The Leela is my preferred transit hotel in Mumbai. It is located a mere 5 mins drive from the international airport. The rooms are smartly designed with spacious bathrooms and other amenities. The Indian touches are everywhere and this distinguishes Leela from the other hotels in the same class. The restaurants are excellent. I always look forward to the breakfast at Citrus, especially the South Indian preparations such as idli-sambar and masala dosa. The staff is earnest and performance has improved in recent times. If you have business to conduct anywhere close to the international airport, this is the hotel to be in. Or if you have an international flight to catch at one of those ungodly hours, stay at Leela makes it comfortable and convenient.

Indian hospitality at its best”
I got a very good deal at Leela via Agoda. I had earlier been to the Leela in Bangalore. The Mumbai hotel is a lot more compact than Leela and a good mix of business traveler orientation and Indian royal decor. I thought the rooms were a bit smaller than a couple of other Mumbai 5 star properties at similar price points.

Luxury close to the international airport”
this is my preferred hotel when transiting in and out of mumbai. it sports a beautiful lobby full of indian motifs. the rooms are smartly appointed and very comfortable. the bathrooms are large with a separate shower area. the leela mumbai has a number of restaurants out of which i shall single out the all-day the citrus and the indian restaurant jamavar. food here is excellent, the service could do with some fine-tuning. overall, this is a warm and luxurious property, and i recommend it highly.

I will definitely return to the Leela on my next pass through Mumbai. I received an excellent value-for-services arrangement from Agoda, very close to the same price for the Palmgrove Ramada, which I visited and was just awful. It's the perfect hotel to go to if you want to be near to the airport but not feel like you're in a "transit" hotel. The grounds are very lovely and large, so you feel in a special place removed from the hubbub of the city. I very highly recommend this hotel.

Solid Business Stay, F&B is very average”
I stayed for a little over one night. I was granted an early check- in and late check- out with only one night's stay advanced payment. The staff at the Leela in Mumbai completely understood my schedule and requirements for my trip. They were proactive and met all of my needs and exceeded expectations. The food and beverage options are a bit tired and need to be freshened up. The F&B offerings are not able to compare to other Leela/Kempinski properties in India that I have stayed in or patronized as a diner.

Good airport hotel”
The Leela in Mumbai has been my favourite hotel for many years while transiting through Mumbai. It is a mere 5 minutes away from the international airport. The lobby is bright and cheery, and the many Indian touches sets it apart from other comparable deluxe hotels nearby. The restaurants at Leela Mumbai are first rate. On the less positive side, the porters and restaurant staff can sometimes be very unprofessional. Their desire for tips is made rather obvious. A hotel of this calibre should remedy the situation.

From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and pampered. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room luxurious. After a long flight, I found the Leela to be an oasis. I left feeling well rested and refreshed. I plan to stay again on my next trip to Mumbai, and I have recommended this hotel to all of my friends and co-workers. The proximity to the Airport, and the shuttle service provided are added bonuses. I look forward to returning soon.

i have stayed here before and everytime that i need to transit in mumbai i stay at the leela. it is convenient to the airport and they pick you up which saves having to deal with mumbai taxis etc. i arrived late at night so i really appreciated this. the hotel and rooms are lovely. perhaps one day i will stay longer than overnight.

Evaluation of Services”
Due technical problems, my flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Mumbai was delayed about five hours. My arrival time was scheduled 10:30 pm and I arrived at about 4 am next day. Personal of the hotel patiently expected me for an airport pick-up almost all the night. I stayed at The Leela Kempinski Hotel only very short period of time but had about two hours nap. Than after I proceeded to domestic flight. Thanks

The Leela is a favourite stop when I travel in and out of Mumbai. The super comfort of a Leela bed is just great after a long flight in and gets you ready for a hectic and steam day to follow in India! Conversely, a chill out in one of their great restaurants before a flight out is also a delight worth trying. Their rooftop Italian restaurant is a bit special but pricey.

A great place from a very passionate founder”
The Leela is simply a retreat within Mumbai. Surrounded by plush green trees and gardens makes you feel like you are i a distant place away from the urban surroundings. Its very close proximity to the airport makes it very convenient for those in transit, either through Mumbai or getting some rest after or just before your journey. Highly recommended.

Brilliant Service in a beautiful hotel ”
The service you get is beyond what you pay for. We even checked in 3 hours early without any complaint, due to our stupidity of not adjusting time to Mumbai time we woke up late and missed breakfast and ended up checking out late, they did not ask a question and did not charge us for anything, Tarranum the manager knew we were rushing out and offered us a takeaway breakfast pack which was very thoughtful and appreciated, I would definitely recommend the Leela to all and will definitely be returning to stay here!!

it's what you'd expect from a leela: posh interior, good service, nice food and all. in room decor is starting to age, but overall still decent if difficult to justify the high price tag. location is far from everything except the airport and some businesses, but this is mumbai so may not be a bad thing.

Simply luxury”
This is an oasis of calm in a hectic area close to Mumbai airport. We have stayed here several times and the Leela has never disappointed. The airport transfer service was excellent and the lounge floor a real delight. Delicious canapes and a glass of wine were a great way to start the evening. The room was beautiful and had one of the most comfortable neds I have eevr slept in. We will return.

The Leela - One of the top hotels in India”
This hotel is by far one of the best hotels that i have stayed at in all of India.(compares with The Taj Exotica in Goa and the Jaypee Palace in Agra) there was a small issue about the name as we knew it as The Leela Kempinski and when asking for directions, the locals only knew it as The Leela, later discovering it to be the same hotel. The double headed shower was a first for me and a unique feature. A small mistake that i made when booking through Agoda was that some how my accomodation did not include breakfast. I had to pay for this separately and being a five star hotel with buffet breakfast, it proved to be very costly as i had two children(12 and 13 yrs) which did not do justice to the lovely huge range available. Other than that, this hotel will definitely remain in our memory for a long time.

Great, in a word. I stay at the Leela for many reasons, the staff are very helpful and have assisted many times when I had issues in Mumbai and the location and setting is the top notch. Close to the international Airport and set in about 5 acres of wonderful grounds it is a great way to escape the Mumbai crush and smell.

The Leela continues to be a safe haven for me when I am in Mumbai. Once I get through the security gate, it is safe and clean and the lobby smells lovely with the fresh flowers. Room is clean and breakfast is good variety. Will come again
