Hotel is neat, just 3km from Ooty center, bus stand. Reasonable cost. They have restaurant also. It doesn't disappoint you in quantity and tatlste. Taste is good, which made us to eat all the 5 days in the hotel itself. As it's on Mysore road, getting public transport is easy. Hotel & restaurant staff behavior is good. Only one cons observed is veg pulao & jeera rice has too much oil.

Worth for money; but check weather report before start to local sightseeing”

The hotel is located very near to the city. The hotel staff's are very responsive manner and helping to arrange tours. Hotel buffet breakfast is really awesome, its worth for money. But still missing fresh vegetables cultivated in Ooty, so they are serving regular known veggies. For couple/family vacation, better to check weather report before planning to visit any places. Because of frequent misty. Even though tour/travel agents knowing all these, they are not sharing these details and finally looting the money from us. Horse ride & instant photo shops are waste of money. Spend one day for sightseeing in Coonoor through sharing bus rides instead of car. Because it didn't make any value for your time or money. I didn't noticed any option to avail "early check-in" option to save money through Agoda website and this can be doable. Due to this I lost around Rs.5000/- while booking and this can be noticed by Agoda officials and can be notified me to avoid extra day booking. Other than this am completely satisfied with my trip.

Good & Decent Rooms”

During our stay at Hotel Majestic Crown - Ooty, on family vacation in mid June, 2016 we found it very good. The rooms were decent & clean, with good ambiance at reception. The staff polite & housekeeping up to the mark. Except for the poor internet connectivity in the rooms, all was good.

Good value, spacious room, excellent staff”

This hotel is in a good location. Everything in Ooty is expensive, but this was (relatively) good value for money. The staff were really helpful and top marks to Mr. Dinesh who went above and beyond. The room was spacious. Sure it smelt a little damp but it was comfortable. 24 hour hot water (in Ooty it's often limited) was a bonus.

Good stay with couple of lows”

I had stayed with my family for 2 days. There are couple of lows. 1) Room was clean with good beds mattress provided. 2) Staff was friendly. 3) Toilet was clean but flush tank wasn't working properly. 4) Only low with this stay is Ooty being cold at night and in the mornings, the hot water supplied at room is not at all good for 2 days. I had to call and chase up to provide hot water buckets supplied to us. Overall it was satisfactory.

Very helpful and attentive staffs. wont be able to find much food option after 10pm due to the cold weather but fortunately there was a small restaurant nearby hotel which is walking distance within 1min from the hotel. opened until 11pm. the hot water in bathroom stopped early in the morning maybe due to any technical faulty or many are using it. otherwise a great otpion

Value for Money”

Hotel rooms were exactly how it was shown in the pictures. Staff was friendly porters helped us get our luggages from car to rooms. Rooms and bed linen were neat and tidy. Hot water was running 24 hours. Only negative point from my side is, in the hotel listing heating was included, but when we asked for it hotel staff told to pay extra for that. Over all satisfactory, recommended for stay with family.

Clean rooms with all facilities. Courteous staff. Food is ok. Ice cubes a scarcity. Test all good and satisfactory.

The Hotel was comfortable for value of money.”

Staff at The Hotel are not so friendly.Hotel staff charge for service charges but not giving genuine bill for what they charge.On the name of extra bed they provide, extra mattress, sheet, pillow and blanket only but not bed, one need to sleep on floor. Dinning space is not maintain(dirty). Hotel staff not able to provide complementry break fast before 8:45AM which hamper further sightseen trips or other day programme.

We Stayed 2 Nights and 3 days . Round the clock hot water facilities available with good and Neat room . Foods reasonably Good . Staffs are good . Transport cost is high so we took outside .Value for My Money .

Nice place but bad customer service experienced while checkout ”

The stay was good but the front desk staff was not cooperating while checkout and we faced bad customer service The manager was informed about the same but he instead supported his staff and raised voice on us. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Clean hotel but smell of non-veg was all around in the hotel”

I stayed with family for 2 night 3 days, the rooms were clean with good ambiance but the bathroom had very bad stink and water leakage. Hotel is owned by Muslims, and the majority of staff also. which gives feel all the time in all corners of the hotel. Maybe good for non-vegetarians but horrible for Vegetarians. Every time we went outside to find food. Did not find the place to be good for food at all, unknowingly we ordered tea right after reaching hotel, cups were not clean and tidy. It's my view based on experience.
