A Fantastic Hostel!!!”

The Moon Hostel is a fantastic hostel for solo traveler as it is cheap, clean and comfortable! The most importantly is its location is at the center of Hua Hin city. A few attractions are within walking distance from the hostel, eg. Hua Hin Railway Station (abt 10 min walk from hostel), a very popular and delicious local restaurant 华盛食堂 (abt 3 min walk from hostel), good massage center Pink Lotus (about 5 min walk from hostel), Hua Hin Night Market is just opposite of the hostel (about 5 min walk from hostel), in the morning we also can visit to their local wet market which located nearby night market. The Moon Hostel, definitely is value for money!

Exceptional”

Although a terrific location and easy to walk to most of the main tourist items to see in Hua Hin, what I enjoyed the most was the staff -- Yogi and Fie (my spelling attempts). Very clean establishment. Yogi was most helpful in my numerous questions about where to go to eat Thai food and to buy stuff. I would definitely stay at this hostel when I am next in Hua Hin. 5 stars all around.

Great hostel ”

Even though we have stayed for 2 nights but the hostel really clean; room is spacious & in a great location near Hua Hin famous clock tower. Daily night market just across the road. With a lot of eateries & shops around. Beach only 15 minutes walk away . Hua Hin RRC bus station which is near airport just 20 minutes away. Take Grabs car it’s cheaper except you managed to negotiate a better near . Prepare sunblock, hat, it’s very HOT over there! Any way will come back to Moon Hostel again.

Perfect location ”

I've stayed for 2 nights and the location is perfect. It takes 5 mins to Hua Hin Night Market, 15 minutes to Hua Hin train station. Free snacks and drink for 24 hours. Those who have problem with your legs, be prepared. The hostel doesn't have lift only stairs. The receptionist is very nice and helpful. Definitely would get stay here if go back to Hua Hin.

After looking for a room in Hua Hin for 2 or more hours after long way we were happy to find that place. Price is ok, thanks to Agoda discount (if you book inside the hostel, it will cost you more). The room has everything we need, it was clean, but after one day ants appeared. Wi-Fi is fast, because they have a lot of hotspots. Staff is very friendly, they are always happy to help you and figure out any issue. Overall I can say that this hostel is very nice to stay in. Recommend it!

The first “home” during our trip”

Just forget this is a hotel, hostel or whatsoever, this is a home! Location as good as just crossing opposite road to Hua Hin Night Market, although the location nearby most crowded area but you won’t be disturbed by the noise, we had sweet dream with our two nights stay :) Owner and staff were super friendly, they happy to help on anything you need. I loved this place and feel it a home but not sure if you too!

New and clean hostel”

Pros: located just opposite Hua Hin Night Market, Starbucks coffee just beside the hotel, clean and cosy hotel/room, provide self-service washing machine and dryer (charge for every use), staffs are super friendly Cons: 5-storey building with NO lift, stairs is quite steep, provide tea/coffee and toast only for breakfast. Quite a new hotel which just open 2 months ago and it's quite suitable for a group of friends. Worth of stay at this hotel.

Hip hostel in Hua Hin”

Great location of this hostel - next to Watson, Boots and Starbucks. Across the street, you can find a lot of shops and a shortcut to Hua Hin Night Market. The hostel provides laundry, basic coffee, chocolate malt and the room is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

This was an awesome first hostel experience. The place was very clean and welcoming-- that being said I have self discovered that when I'm traveling by myself I definitely prefer a hotel. But if and when I come back to Hua Hin with a friend, I will definitely be looking this place up again.

Recommended for backpacker traveller for this convenience location hostel. It's just opposite hua hin night market and also near to hua hin beach. It's just beside hua hin main road which is easily found. The only things need to improve is on room sound proof. As most of the time you might able hear the noise from the street (motorbike or vehicle drive through). For those who are sensitive on noise may not suitable.

The bed was solid and room good reading lights and great common room with TV and blue ray videos and excellent kitchen with free coffee, tea and malt drink. Hostel is new and clean. Bathroom good facilities. Overall a must stay in Hua Hin.

Excellent and Budget Friendly ! ”

We are a family of 6, and we enjoyed the stay in Moon. The bed is comfy and clean. The staff, Apple is super friendly and assist us during our stay. Its about 10 mins of walking to the closest beach. And Starbucks just right below the hostel. The night market is just across the street. Just do take note there's no lift and need to climb flights of stairs which is quite steep. Will recommend Moon, and hope to come back again during my next stay in Huahin.

Night Market just opposite The Moon Hostel”

The famous Hua Hin night market is just across the street. Everything is within walking distance, e.g convenient stores, restaurants, tourist spots, beach, massage centres (I visited Raintree Massage, and their service is awesome!) The host is very accommodating too!

A great find in Hua Hin!”

I found The Moon Hostel when booking last-minute for a post-Christmas holiday. The location is excellent -- across the street from the night market and a 10-minute walk to the beach. Our Sombat Tour bus (241 baht from their Bangkok station on Vipavadee Rangsit 13) dropped us off at the clock tour right next to the hostel when we arrived. As there were four of us -- my husband and I and 2 of my husband's siblings -- we booked a family room, which came with a double bed and 2 bunk beds. The bathroom is small but well laid out and the sink is smartly located outside the bathroom. The room came equipped with a small fridge, an electric pot, a hair dryer, hangers and a clothes rack on the balcony. There is a large lounge/kitchen on the third floor with plenty of tables, a large couch and bar seating along the windows, as well as a TV and some DVDs. White bread and strawberry and pineapple jam were provided for breakfast. Lastly, the woman at the desk spoke English well and was friendly.

Location wise, it is just a walking distance to the Hua Hin night market andjust beside Starbucks. I just like the view of the sunset the rooftop.

I stayed for 2 nights and not many travelers there so I enjoyed 4-bed dorm all by myself. It's 2 min walk to the night market and 10 min walk to Hua Hin beach. The owners are very nice.
