Special place!”

The hotel is simply AMAZING. Located a 25 mins drive from Khao Yai National Park it offers everything you may need for an unforgettable stay in that area. Besides the chic infinity pool, the great facilities (gym, spa), the cool design, the location completely immersed in the nature, there where two more things that left us speechless. First, the incredible friendly, sweet, kind staff. They did their best in accomodating all our needs, they provided fresh Muesli just for me every morning (I am a bit picky when it comes to breakfast ;) ), one day me and my partner where relaxing outside on the pillows, enjoying the view, then it started raining and the team came and rebuild our self-build "pillow-couch-area" inside in front of the biggest window to let us continue enjoy the view. Their warmth simply made us feel so welcome. The second thing was the excellent cuisine. I live in Thailand since one year and trust me, I had never have such delicious Thai food. The chef is super super nice, he showed us around in his kitchen and prepared unforgettable Seafood and Curry dishes. They do also have international kitchen. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay one night longer. And for our last dinner the staff surprised us and arranged a romantic candle-light-dinner in a place where we were the only ones, they served dishes that were decorated with freshly picked flowers and we were simply overwhelmed by everything they organized for us. We definitely reccomend this place if you are around Khao Yai- absolutely worth the money, you will not regret it!!!! Thanks for everything to the team and hope to see you soon!

Exceptional”

The Paz room is spacious, clean and provides beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was excellent, especially during weekdays where it is freshly cooked and served to you personally (if its crowded during the weekend, it will be buffet style). Service and facilities were excellent. The swimming pool provides you a breathtaking view. The only consideration was its location where it is out of Khao Yai (30mins away from central of Khao Yai). But we have our own personal transport so this wasn't an issue. If you want a place just to chill and relax without having to rush and cover as many places of interest as possible, then The Paz will be a wise choice!

Fantastic view ”

The paz a bit far from Khao Yai national park, but you can feel quite and relax time during stay. You can see the mountains every where in the room even in the bath tub. Don't miss dinner here as a winner chef cooking for you both Thai or international menu. Swimming pool was very nice with mountain view, especially during sunset. Staff always look after smile and friendly.

DEPOSIT? What deposit?”

Let me just say I am very happy with my experience at the hotel with a small little thing that didn't ruin my trip but definitely added a note of bitterness to it. And it was the 2,000 Baht deposit that was NOT mentioned ANYWHERE (not in Agoda, not in the hotel's website or Facebook page) I was very disappointed about the not knowing part..... Took me by surprise to say the least! Have stayed in NUMEROUS hotels in Khao Yai and this is the FIRST time (the only other place to ask for deposit was Dolphin Bay in HuaHin and Asia Hotel in Bangkok but that was 20 years ago). Other than that the hotel is lovely, I know that "in the middle of nowhere" is a negative trait for some travelers but I personally prefer it that way. The views from the rooms (which were HUGE by the way) were spectacular and swimming pool is wonderfully relaxing and somehow always empty. The hotel IS starting to show signs of wear and tear a bit, but overall the place is very pleasant. I will definitely come back.

I cant find a better hotel to chill and relax in Khao Yai! The pool and the views from this hotel is remarkable! We always go to the pool, even at night! The only downside is the road condition along the way from the outside, but its really not an issue at all! As usual, hotel staffs in Thailand are always friendly and smiley! Will definitely come here to stay again if we come back to Khao Yai!

Good if you just stay here and not going anywhere”

The place is isolated and opposite from the Khao Yai National Park so this place is really peaceful just like chill with the surrounding and enjoy the facilities that they have. We enjoyed stay here!

Nice villa, facilities and breakfast ”

Nice hotel design and villa, everything is just like in photos and still new. The hotel is about half an hour drive from main area of Khao Yai, so once you get in, then you are kind of stuck there. However, there are nice hotel facilities you can enjoy... my husband really liked swimming pool with great view while I enjoyed onsen. There were limited choices for dinner at the restaurant, but it was understandable for a small hotel with not many guests. Food taste was a bit disappointing for its price as I expected great food when I read many reviews, but it turned out just average. Breakfast was good for varieties and quality, but kitchen staff filled buffet line a bit slow when many customers, so we had to wait. Overall experience was nice and we will definitely go back at the right price (but still never see the price we paid which we think okay for what we get, and now seems overpriced)

Nice location, views and hotel. Poor staff. ”

The location on a hill was perfect. The sunset is amazing at the hotel over the horizon. It is a little away from the rest of the 'Khao Yai' area, a bit on it's own, that works for it in many ways. The room was nice and big. Although the bath wasn't properly cleaned, so we didn't use it. The hotel grounds are nice. The only thing that let this hotel down was the service, especially in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. Dinner we were 1 of 2 groups seated and we tried for 10 mins to get someone to order. Staff sitting around on their phones instead of coming back to ask if we were ready to order. Poor. Breakfast was similar. We had to ask if we could order a coffee (the previous morning we were asked). Cutlery was get yourself (every other 5 star hotel has it already placed). I'm not 'picky', but when you count yourself as a 5 star hotel, charge the prices for it, you need to provide the services. It wasn't as if the hotel was busy, except for the corporate group that was there. Staff were around, they just weren't interested in serving guests. Would I stay again...maybe. But there's also far more choices to choose from, so probably not.

Great experience”

Everything was awesome. View was good and pool villa was amazing. As there is nothing much to do in Khao Yai, it will be great if hotel has in house massage so we don't have to travel out for massages.

Peaceful, Natural and Comfortable ”

Date of stay: May, 2019 Room Type: Deluxe Double Positives: 1. Spacious, spacious, SPACIOUS! LOTS of space to walk around, lounge around & place our luggage, despite the king-sized bed. The bathroom is also the biggest that we had ever seen - LOTS of walking space between the sink, toilet, rain shower, separate bathtub & the area for hanging up our clothes! The rain shower & bathtub are roomy. There is also sufficient space to place our array of skincare around the sink & hang up our clothes. All the space, & the room design, makes the stay feel comfortable, relaxing & even luxurious! 2. VERY well-designed! Has a nature vibe while being modern & stylish - simple, quality wood accents (flooring, furniture & shutters), a smart TV facing the bed for comfortable viewing of YouTube etc. & the entire Paz compound sits on the top of a hill & we can look out towards the other hills/ mountains/ plantations from the balcony (a very relaxing view)! The shutters can be drawn fully up/ down but can also be set to allow some natural light to peep through, casting romantic shadows in the room. The shutters in the bathroom can also be drawn up/ down for viewing of the TV/ for privacy. 3. VERY clean! 4. VERY comfortable big bed! Had one of our best sleeps ever! 5. GORGEOUS infinity pool! Stylish design & looks out to mountains, extremely relaxing! There is also an area with water jets. 6. DELICIOUS food! A-la-carte breakfast buffet is included for our stay. There is a choice of a few breakfast sets (e.g. American, English & Asian breakfasts) & we are very impressed that we can order more sets after we finish our first sets! We only ordered 1 set each though as the sets come with a basket of pastries, a small bowl of salad, some fruits & coffee/ tea alongside the main. Fruit juices are also available. The friendly staff encouraged us to order more sets as the Asian main is small but we decided to save some tummy space for lunch at a cafe that was on our agenda. We missed t

Regret for the return ”

We went last year and everything was totally amazing so we decided to have another vacation. The pool was still beautiful with the panoramic mountain view. However, the room was much older as they might have many customers visited. The food at the restaurant was expensive with lower quality and the taste was very disappointing. The breakfast was changed to be a simple buffet (my first visit was a la cart and very tasty). The room price is expensive compare to the other new 4-5 star hotels. I’d rather seek for a new place to stay at Khao Yai next time.

Room and Breakfast”

Rooms were wonderful. Good design and modern type. Only concern is location of TV. It is dangerous for Kids (7-9). Better to find attach to the wall. View from the room is fabulous. Only disappointment is breakfast. There was less variety with this hotel price compare to the other. Moreover, Taste is super plain. And if PAZ doesn't want to serve ice-cream and cake. Pls. cover it, don't show as they include in breakfast. If you want to have it, the staff will inform you that we will charge xx THB.

Fantastic service”

Prompt replies from The Paz through facebook. They do not have airport shuttle services but they are very kind to help me arrange for transport. The Paz is quite inaccessible if you don't have transport. I rented a car, so not too bad. But choose the right route if you are using google map, if not you may end up cutting through the forest at night. There wasn't many guests during my stay there, which made it a quiet but enjoyable one. For breakfast, you can either choose the buffet or order from the menu. The food were not bad. Didn't get to have dinner at The Paz, so did not get to witness sunset there. Not much scenery to see from my room though, but we love the place because it's very peaceful. Only thing we dislike about our stay there is the steep slope we have to take to get to the breakfast place. But for check out, we requested for the buggy to fetch us and they acceded to our request. :) They even gave us a pack of cookies before we left The Paz. So nice of them! Overall we enjoyed our stay there! Very good service!

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was fine. Nice bathroom. The view wasn't as in the pictures. Wifi only works when the TV is on. Breakfast is ok. A buffet would be better. You have to choose items from a menu. The main choice isn't great quality and didn't have all the choices. Hot drinks are cold by the time they come and no refills. The dinner was nice but pricey enough though not many alternatives as the resort is in the middle of nowhere. The gym isn't great. The pool is nice. The best thing about the resort. If that wasn't there then a very average stay. Also far from Khao yai. Overall it was ok for a one off.

Blissful”

First of all, we are a group of 2 moms and 2 children on a road trip. We were looking for some comfortable stay and The Paz just answered it all. Room was big and super clean and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The view was fantastic and we all live the swimming pool and onzen! Gym was excellent for hotel quality. The only thing we do not like is where they place the TV, fan heroics area, one of our kids hit her head to it and I hit myself to it a few times.

Good Atmosphere For Relax Vacation”

Room and bathroom was clean & spacious. Staff was friendly and nice. View from hill top is amazing, especially perfect for honeymoon. Location a bit far from Khao Yai. Restaurant and breakfast are acceptance, only concern is hope their staff can improve their english communication, as we tried ask about the meal but unfortunately they dont how to answer it. Overall is good choice for stay.
