Beautiful resort and pleasant owners!”
As we arrived at THE QUINLINS, we got a warming welcome from John (the owner). Afterwards we were in the city for dinner, with John. During dinner we got a lot of recommendations for objects of interest in and around Pai. Before leaving the QUINLINS John pumped up the wheels of our motorbike, which was very helpful for the sharp curves in the area of Mae Hong Son. It was so beautiful at the QUINLINS that we decided to make an additional stop at the QUINLINS on our way back to Chiang Mai. Location is not easy to find without navigation. On the 1095 road comming from Chiang Mai after you pass the Memorial bridge you have to drive additional round about two kilometers before you have to turn into a street on the left side (in a right curve). If you have a motorized vehicle it's no problem to stay at the QUINLINS because it's round about 8km far away from the city. If you don't have any you have to take a taxi.

Quiet and Relaxing with Great Service”
This was our first time to Pai and the Quinlins Hotel. The hotel vehicle was away when we arrived but a transfer by taxi was provided. The hotel is a little distance from town but the owners were more than helpful with info and advise. The rooms were nice and clean and we were well cared for with a complementary breakfast each morning. The hotel provides a service in and out of town but we rented a scooter to have more freedom to explore the area. Great place to stay and relax at a great price. Thank you Quinlins.

Perfect for relaxing surrounded by only nature”
The Quinlins Hotel Pai is the perfect spot to relax in the pool and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms are really clean and the beds are comfortable. For the ammount of money you pay, the breakfast is satisfying. The owners, John and his lovely wife, are extremely helpfull and you can have a good laugh with them. Because the accomodation is far from the village (15 minutes by motorbike) you need a motorbike to get around, I loved it! For me, a budgettraveller, Quinlins had all that I could possibly ask for.

Family of 5 can stay in one cottage!”
The Quinlins Hotel was an easy drive into Pai and to the attractions surrounding Pai. We had our own car, so it was very convenient to get around by ourselves. The staff was very attentive, and we enjoyed the breakfasts with fresh baked bread. Our family of 5 was able to share one cottage at a very reasonable price. The cottage had a large dining room table. There was plenty of space outside for kids to chase butterflies, and the view was lovely. The hotel has only a few cottages, so we felt as if you were at a private resort. We had the pool to ourselves every time we swam.

Great place for those looking to just get away.”
I have a family of five and we stayed at The Quinlins Hotel in Pai for three nights and loved it. Great location for those looking to get away from all the craziness of the city, but only a few minutes drive if you want to go into the city for shopping/sightseeing. Only thing for those with kids would be to bring toys & games as there isn't a playground for the kids. However the pool is great.

The best experience in Thailand”
I thought it is the best experience I had in Thailand, the host of the hotel John is very friendly, he tought us how to learn the motor-bike and willing to drive us back to hotel in evening, in his world: I have to make sure you are safe. Haha, very funny, and the breakfast tasted good, the view of the hotel is good, stayed in there was very relax, if I have the chance to visit Pai again, The Quinlins must be my only choice.

Great view but quite far from the main road”
the hotel is quite far from the main street but the view and atmosphere in winter are superb! provides swimming pool and english breakfast from english owners. too bad we stayed there only one night if we have a chance to visit pai, we will definitely stay at the quinlins hotel again.

One of my new favorite places to stay in Thailand”
we just spent five days here and absolutely loved it. the room is actually a little bungalow that was much bigger than we had expected. there's a view of the mountains from the pool and lounge area and it's outside pai enough that it's perfectly quiet. it's a great place to stay if you want something nicer but for a reasonable price and if you like a more natural setting (e.g. dragonflys, kaffir lime tree, and even fireflies at night). it's still really close to town, if you're on a motor bike, which if you're visiting pai, you'll definitely want to rent one, because the best parts of pai are seen far outside the main tourist area in town. it was very relaxing and the owners are so charming and gracious. we didn't want to leave! (we extended our stay an extra night). our 2 year old son loved the pool too. we've traveled all over se asia and this is one of the nicest places we've stayed at for the price. there are lots of cheap places in pai, but you really can't do better than this.

Nice guest house in a village outside of town”
i had a nice time staying at quinlins. you really do need a motorbike or other mode of transportation, as there are no restaurants or anything in this area. the guest house is a great value for the money. if you are going to pai to drink and go out at night, you will have a hard time getting home, since the roads are dark and there are no taxis back to the guest house. but if you want a quiet couple of days, this place is a good choice.

Brilliant place located 8km out of Pai!”
We had a blast at Quinlins. From the very start the owners make you feel at home, and happily chat to you about anything. (Ask for stories of their time in Pai!) We had a lovely room, very clean with probably the best bathroom in Thailand, and enjoyed hanging out by the pool with the dogs & view. Highly reccomended!

Amazing value”
Our first time using an online site like Agoda.com really paid off. We found the Quinlin's Hotel, 7 km from Pai in a quiet village with a splendid view, a remarkable 14m saline swimming pool, and two of the coolest owners you could possibly meet. We are already making travel plans to come back to the Quinlins as soon as possible. Thanks to John and Gaynor for a wonderful stay.

Nice and quiet place, lovely people!”
No fake smile in the Quinlins Hotel! John and his wife are very welcoming and give you good tips about the area. All is very clean and new, the swimming pool and terrasse are awesome to relax. I wish I could have stayed longer over there. Far from the city if you walk, but with a scooter, it s only 5 minutes drive, so you can have a good sleep in a quiet place being near the town. Pick up at the bus station.

fantastic pool location way out!!!”
recently had knee op this hotel was far way out of town and the taxi even cost me to take me there, as i could not email the quinlins to pick me up! they have another two bungalows which where full so they put me into this house very nice shower not so good i had to use a spanner to let the air out the gas then i could use it then, owners where brilliant john and gaynor they said we just help ourselfs to water to refil the bottles but when we needed water it was empty, and for drinks out of fridge we only found one bottle of leo so we had to go into town on hired bike which took 10 mins and the night time was very scary going back on bike this place needs better lights on the night time other than that very nice place but too far out of town.

You feel like personal guests, not clients”
we had no difficulty finding the property outside of pai. it is in a quiet village with the units being far apart. our unit had 2 bedrooms plus a large living room and tv area. our hosts provided valuable information about the immediate area and also about the remainder of the mae hong son 600km loop. they are delightful and we wish now we had stayed longer. there is a pool on the property and walking trails nearby. the units are very clean and well-appointd. the shower area was separated from the toilet/sink area by a brick wall - not often seen in guesthouses in thailand where one normally must get the whole room wet with the shower. definitely worthy of a repeat visit.

Feel like a guest in a guesthouse.”
We had a great time with John and Gaynor! This place has only three guesthouses (each house is separate from the main house) so you can really feel like you have your own cottage in the country side. The setting is lovely, the pool is heavenly in the hot afternoon, and the Quinlans are a hoot! If you want to feel like a customer who can get good service from the 'help', don't bring that attitude here, because you are not chill enough for this crowd. If you want to feel like a guest staying at someone's house, relaxing at the pool together, eating breakfast, drinking beer, watching a movie, whatever... come on over! John and Gaynor are a hilarious couple and some of our best time in Pai was just hanging with our hosts.

Friendly quiet place, big rooms with a nice pool”
we arrived mid afternoon to be greeted by a very big dog, who seemed more curious then aggressive although a little scary. the room we stayed in was very spacious and had tv, dvd player and a fridge. the pool was a decent size and looks out over the fields and mountains in the distance. both owners were very friendly and accommodating, and there was a selection of books, music and dvds available to use. a very quiet, relaxing and friendly place (not many other guests due to not many rooms). you would ideally need transportation of your own (can be rented in town) as the centre of pai is around 9 km away, with some of the road unlit at night.

Peaceful stay in Pai / Excellent value for money ”
We've been lucky to experience some wonderful home-stays/Guesthouses over the years, from Phrachup Kiri Khan, Songhkhla, Chiang Khan and some lovely places in between but, for the money, this place really is tops! We were after a quiet stay, no rafting, caving or partying, just a peaceful stay, with a pool, in Pai. We believe we got our money's worth and, with the help of our fabulous host John, we gained some valuable tips for our little journey in the region too. - We would recommend this property to all, especially those who are after a good night's sleep, a lovely pool to chill at in a sweet location away from all the hoo-har.
