The location is excellent.
Room was basic but comfortable with 2 single beds.
If you want to have the experience to stay in a great old country pub, this is pretty good.
Hotel is good, the staff are more interested in serving the locals instead of everyone.

There on a Saturday with band playing in the evening so it was a little noisy but great crowd of country kids enjoying themselves. Room was basic but comfortable with 2 single beds. Bistro food was very good and reasonable prices!

Elegant rooms with old time charm”
The location is excellent. Most cafes and shops are within walking distance. The high ceiling and wood panelings add character to the hotel. The feeling in a room without a balcony is bigger than in photos because of the high ceiling. We had a great night's sleep. The noise from customers in the bar downstairs calmed down after midnight. We can hear cows mooing from a distance.

If you want to have the experience to stay in a great old country pub, this is pretty good. Rooms are renovated and comfy, but be aware that it's shared bathrooms. If you can, get a room with balcony access.
